“Wednesday nite we went an hour before closing. We were worried that it may be too late, but they said to come on in. I ordered a Kansas City burger, junior sized. Even tho it was JUNIOR, it was huge. I took home leftovers. Meat is cooked to order and the fries are fresh cut, similar to fair fries. My husband ordered similar, but no leftovers for him. We had several drinks from the bar, they have specialty drinks and beer. We love this place, its on the square in Galena and easy parking.“

“Great dining experience, in a great establishment. Without an overwhelming menu, there are great options available. From Seafood, Steak, and Pasta. There is even a wine menu.We visited on a Friday evening with a party of 12, all co-workers, we were seated quickly when we arrived.I had a salad prior to my meal, one of the best salads I had. The meals were prepared and came out in a decent time. I seriously can't find one bad point about this place. I'm glad I visited.“

“I was looking for a good place to try afternoon tea and stumbled upon this restaurant. Asterisk has a very nice ambiance, with a dark academia look using books as menus and different pattern tea ware. You do not need a reservation to come here because there is a large shared table in the middle, but it is recommended for a smaller private table. The seats at the large table are very close together and personally do not want to be bumping elbows while I eat. The afternoon tea service was a joy. You can pick as many teas as you like and choose from a variety of finger sandwiches. The service is very good and the servers will explain anything on their menu that you need. The dinner menu has very nice options, but I was not entirely impressed with the flavor. I mainly come here for the atmosphere, but the food isn't terrible, just not amazing. I still recommend this place for an intimate meal or a joyful tea time.Vegetarian options: There are some vegetarian options.Parking: There are parking lots a couple blocks away or street parking if available.Kid-friendliness: It is more of an adult atmosphere.“

The sweet potato is succulent and tender.However, it is recommended to book in advance to avoid a long waiting time (sometimes up to an hour), especially on weekends. But patience is rewarded“

The MAIN reason I'll never be returning is because of candy (a server) we sat in her section and she just went missing multiple times. We sat with our food getting cold because we had no silverware and syrup. Then she comes back stinking of cigarette... after we already flagged down another server to assist us.“

“This has become one of my favorite restaurants food is always delicious and service is always top tier. Our waiter was wonderful he engaged with us, also kept checking in on us to make sure everything was up to standard. I had a reservation for 7:45 p.m, but I made a call and they were able to get me in at 7:15 p.m which was great due to them being really busy due to prom season. I wish they would bring back the little crossiant that came with the salad they were really good but thanks again for a wonderful dinner for me and my family.“

“Went here to eat brunch but they said they only do brunch on weekends. Service was good and I ordered tavern stack burger. It had tomato jam and it worked with other ingredients. We ordered corn bread for appetizer. It was really good too. Definitely will visit again to try brunch if i have chance.“

“Absolutely wonderful! I've had their baked treats at functions and parties but today was my first trip inside. Classic & nostalgic. The staff were so friendly and happy about my excitement. “This is a breakfast restaurant. So it's only open until 2:30pm. They serve organic food and interesting juice combinations. My favorite is the Trifecta. I get eggs, bacon, and a large Belgian waffle, all perfectly prepared and served on a large square plate. I also opted for a juice drink called a Mango Passion Palmer, a combination of mango and passion fruit juices with green tea with a lemon wedge. It was quite good. This is a good family restaurant with a selection that should appeal to kids as well.“

“This place exudes absolute class. The service was exceptional, and the food was truly outstanding. Their use of fresh Ohio ingredients truly makes a world of difference. “Old school home town diner feel, with high quality food! You will notice the sign on the door paraphrasing, "if you are impatient and expect food immediately, this is not the place for you.". The food may take a bit to come out to you, but it does NOT disappoint! I discovered this hole in the wall not too long ago, and have been back several times. My co-workers also sharing the same great feedback. Super friendly staff (including the Cooks) and Delicious desserts. They made everything from scratch, even their own corned beef for Reuben sandwiches, gravy, etc.. They only thing not made from scratch are the French fries. I highly recommend this place.“

“I cant believe I havent been here before! After hearing many people rave about the sushi and other dishes I finally went. I got the french 75 to drink- YUM. And the fish sandwich as my meal. The fries are crispy and flavorful, and the ranch is just the cherry on top. Its a shame I just now found it but cannot wait to go back.“

Ask for the homemade hot sauce, it’s legit.The Eggs Benedict is ok. The sauce needs more acidity - add more lemon! It’s smooth and buttery but under seasoned. My daughter had the Big Bite and enjoyed it. It’s a good portion of food.The buttered toast is delicious.Overall, the hash browns needed seasoning. I had them add onions and cheese to the hash browns. I think a little cook on the onions would have made them perfect.It’s someplace I would return to but I’d try something different.The service was excellent. Our waitress was kind.“

It’s a little cramped inside, but I imagine during the spring/summer it is much better when the patio area is opened up. I got the wings, and they were pretty decent. “Great dinner date with my son, easy to get into he shopping center (if not slightly confusing to find the entrance if you don't park in the right place). Our server was wonderful and attentive and our pie was delicious. Service was fast and great. Bathrooms were clean. ?“

“First Watch is my go to place for meetings with friends. I have been going there every Saturday for years, and other days as well. All of the servers are pleasant. It does get a bit loud sometimes, but that's to be expected from a busy restaurant.“

“Ordered shrimp scampi for take out. It came w/a little side salad. $15.00 so a decent price for entree and side that we split for 2 of us. It was YUMMY w/9 medium shrimp. The linguini was perfectly cooked as al dente, spinach and halved cherry tomatoes were great with butter and garlic...just as it all should be. I did order a 2nd little side salad that was $5.00. I do believe that's too much for what you get. Should definitely be $2.50 especially compared to other places. It was very small, lettuce, tomatoes, cheese and croutons. Need more veggies for $5.00, imo. We will definitely order the shrimp scampi again!“
