“We were here over the weekend and had Michelle as our server. She was busy and we had a little bit of a wait in the beginning, but we didn’t mind. She was working hard and she made sure she took great care of us! Food was great. I will definitely make the drive to go back to this location! Thanks again Michelle for an enjoyable experience!!“

He has really appreciated the dressing, giblet gravy and Pumpkin pie! The sample of corn bread we added on let him understand country cooking! The Managers energy abd happiness was pervasive throughout the restaurant! Thank you all and you have a new international customer with my friend!“

“A restaurant devoted to great people and great pierogi's. It is seat yourself and when I went all the tables were full up but a table was leaving at the right time so we could snag a spot. Everything my group ordered was 10/10Vegetarian options: Most the pierogi's are vegetarian and they have a good amount of vegan cheese options“

“Raised in Louisiana, moved to California, went to Columbus on vacation. What a surprise to find some of the most authentic Cajun food since Louisiana. Nothing fancy for sure, but definitely reminds me of a good home-cooked dinner in Louisiana. Got a chance to talk to the owner of this location, and just in southern hospitality fashion got to know a little backstory about him and his family and the restaurant. Was kind of a nice treat. Hopefully, next time I get a chance to visit, they’ll have some shrimp and grits, and then I would surely pack up and move to Ohio!“

“Stopped by here during lunch. I enjoy their royal decorations with so many beautiful wallpapers, mirrors and mirror frames. There were many people during lunch hours. The service mainly paid attention on the groups. My servers did apologize for less attention and told me my food would be ready patiently. The room temperature was a little cold, which made the food cool down quickly. Their burgers came with two cheesy patties. I ordered the chimi burger. The chimichurri sauce neutralized the oil and improved the burger taste. The Mac and cheese tasted decent and authentic but it cooled down quickly mainly due to their room temperature.Vegetarian options: Veggie burger and salads“

“This is on our regular rotation. But it seemed to be extra good this time. I had the barbecue chopped salad and my wife had the fish sandwich. We also had a bowl of clam chowder. Frankly, the last couple of experiences at Cap City have been subpar for one reason or another, but this one at Rusty was really good. Also two red sangrias that were tasty. Server did a really nice job too. The folks at Cap could learn from him. ;)“

“This was one of the most pleasant experiences I've had at this style of restaurant. All-day breakfast is great for someone like me who enjoys pancakes for dinner. This recent visit, I got the Rise & Shine burger for lunch. Easily the best burger I've had in quite a while. I also brought my office cup (30oz. Yeti cup) out of habit and a passing server filled the WHOLE thing without me even asking. I highly recommend giving this place a visit. Friendly staff, great food!“

“*extremely late post*This is a very nice yet small restaurant. This was our first visit. Needless to say, they did not disappoint. The sandwich I had was huge, messy, and very tasty. As I'm writing this post, I'm not sure why we haven't been back. One of these days, we'll definitely make our way back in there. Keep up the good work.“

“Mac's Proper Pub has been on my radar for a few years because my best friend took me there to try the sauerkraut balls, and I've been going back to have them ever since then. Recently I discovered that they have a great happy hour which includes half off apps and specialty cocktails, so off I went to have a dinner of apps. My order included scotch eggs, fried brie, spinach and artichoke dip, chicken fingers, and of course the sauerkraut balls. The scotch eggs were tasty-- served cut in half with a dipping sauce, and they were better than any scotch eggs I've had in the past. Crispy and delicious, especially with the gluttonous cream cheese dip. The fried brie is also very tasty-- served with slices of toast and definitely not as stinky or strange as brie can often be, more palatable because it's fried with a crispy outside. This is a great 'intro fried brie' for those who it may be too strong for normally. The spinach and artichoke dip is yummy and served with interesting sliced curly-esque fries. I loved the fries I just wish there was a bit more dip so I wasn't left with so many extra fries and nothing to dip them in. The chicken fingers were pretty average. Not a whole lot to say about those and probably wouldn't order them again. I also wasn't a fan of the sauce they were served with. The sauerkraut balls did not disappoint as usual-- sauerkraut and sausage all wrapped together and served fried with ranch(?) to dip them in. I'm not crazy about the dipping sauce but the portion is pretty large-- it comes with 6 sauerkraut balls that take at least 2-3 bites to finish. The bar itself is long and slender with an incognito room with a pool table in the back that I just noticed on this trip, despite having been there many times before. I'll definitely be back to blow off some steam with a game of pool during happy hour soon.“

“I thought the food was okay. It wasn't bad, but I also didn't find anything to be super exciting. The prices are pretty good, and the servers here were very nice. They also have some packaged cookies sitting in front of the desk for $5.99 that are quite big and have a lot of chocolate in them. Overall, it is a nice change of pace from the typical fast food places, but I wouldn't come here looking for anything fancy.“

“Ordered over phone staff was friendly and helpful. Took less than 10 minutes for my order to be ready from start of calling. Food was on point ? everything was correct. Only negative I have to say was I ordered a loaf of banana bread and pumpkin and the pumpkin was somewhat dry tasty but dry. Banana bread is to die for.“

Build Your Own Mac Daddy Burrito

“Found this place searching best mac n cheese in Columbus. Got the Nashville chicken and the chicken parm. Both were phenomenal. Ate the hot chicken the night I got it. The flavors and qualities of the food was awesome, I personally would've liked it more without pickles but it really made the dish. The chicken parm I ate for lunch the next day. Cut hot dog style and air fried for more even heating and a great meal. The 15$ for their burritos I thought was steep until I got one. The size and quality of the food makes it well worth it and I'm definitely going back. The only downside is there's no restaurant face or dining area. You have to order online. And it seems 30-40 min usual wait during their dinner rush. I got there and ordered and just waited in my car. The actual place seems kind of skeevy and dark, with order locker windows, the guy working the window called it a ghost kitchen which is probably some trendy thing where a bunch of folks work kitchens out of a factory. Overall super cool and delicious, give it a try“
