It literally looked like a pancake. I think the chef needs to go up to the New England states or Baltimore for lessons in how a crab cake should look. “I've been here a few times. The food is good, probably better if you're gluten tolerant, but since I'm not, there are very few good options, and those options aren't spectacular. The seating here can be extremely uncomfortable if you get put in the wrong spot. The last time we went, my husband and I sat on the same side of a booth and I've never been in a worse seat at a restaurant. It literally caved in to the center so our spines were at an angle toward each other. We're regular sized people, on the thin side if anything. The only alternative seating available was a hard metal high-top stool with no back. I don't have back problems, I'm relatively young, but I was literally aching to get out of there for how cheap and poorly built the booth seat was.On the plus side, the service is always excellent here! If you can snag a comfortable seat and don't have dietary restrictions, you'll have a great time here.“

“Recently attended a concert (Jim Brickman) on this smaller auditorium side. We've attended sold out concerts from this same artist on the larger orchestra side of Powers Auditorium. Definitely a different experience as it was a more intimate concert this time, especially due to the close proximity of basically all the seats on this smaller auditorium side. He said he had used this side for rehearsing during concerts he performed on the Powers Auditorium side, saying he loved performing on the larger, "orchestra " side, but wanted to return to have a concert one day on this stage that he also enjoyed for the close experience he could share with his audience.“

I had the cherry turnover and baklava- wow! The best I’ve ever had without a doubt. I also had the coffee which was smooth to the last drop. The coffee station has some funny signs at it lol. Some of the best pizzas we ever had, Both styles of pizza were very good, but the thicker one edged out the thinner version for us. Both were almost equally amazing. “I don’t know who the woman was at the counter this morning (Tues, Nov 22, 2022) at Boardman, but what a miserable and mean person. My mom pre ordered $150 worth of product and her only request was for a butt end ham. So, she set the first morning spot to get in and get the ham she wanted and the lady was rude and had disgusting customer service. She told my mom “you’ll get what you get”. Now…my mom is always polite with people working with the public, especially this time of year. She was so irritated and upset that she didn’t use a coupon and when she asked for a receipt, the horrible employee said “you already have it…it was your confirmation”. Disgusted by the customer service at the Boardman store—you should reflect on the people you are putting in front of the public around the holidays. Not sure we will return.“

“You can’t beat a meal at Knoll Run Golf Course. I believe now it is officially called The Double Eagle at Knoll Run. I’ve been here more that a few times & have never had a bad meal or experience. They have some awesome hamburgers & pasta dishes. I was craving a deli sandwich this day & was interestedto see what they offered. I saw a Philly steak sandwich and know that was the winner. Our seating options were tables or at the bar, I figured a beer with my sandwich would be nice, so we chose the bar. The barmaids/servers were very cool, we had playful banter & they were very friendly. They took our drink & food orders & had our beers out quick. A few minutes later our orders were up, my Philly steak was perfectly prepared. A nice heaping of steak, lots of cheese, nicely sautéd onions on a toasted hoagie bun. I very much enjoyed my sandwich & beverage , even had a couple more beers for good measure. I must say that I really liked the atmosphere as well, a good crowd of locals, everyone was in a good mood & it felt like cool local bar. I noticed at least 5 TV’s, so definitely a good place to enjoy the game & great food. The bar was also properly stocked, I’m certain that they have your favorite beer or liquor. Again, this is one of my local haunts, so stop in and check it out, you won’t be disappointed.“
