“Shelly's "40-Love" Lounge (At Shadow Valley) is a hidden gem tucked away in the heart of the city. From the moment you step in, the vibrant atmosphere and friendly staff make you feel right at home. The drink menu offers delightful concoctions that are both imaginative and expertly crafted, leaving your taste buds craving for more.“
“Stopped in to meet some buddies for a couple of beverages and something to nibble on. Had a local craft beer by earnest brewery (crunchy hippy) and ordered potato skins and a quesadilla food and beverages were good atmosphere is nice, service was slow. Took the bartender 10 minutes to notice me. The bar was not busy.“
“Ed BeczynskiMy family and I were planning a special event to Honor my father's induction into The Toledo Hockey Hall Fame on Saturday, Jan 26th. Blarney’sPub was recommended so I called in October and spoke to Bill Kline and explained our situation, and even though you don't usually take reservations on Saturdays, especially during Walleye games Bill said he would “ be honored to”.Apparently the night before arrival there was a gas leak in the building and Bill took the time to notify me promising to keep me apprised and followed up personally calling me two times with messages going from it looks promising to the eventual green light. The food was great, our server was a champ, and the ambiance was first-rate as all sixteen of us enjoyed a most memorable night in Downtown Toledo thanks to Bill, his staff, and Blarney's dedication to hiring obviously the BEST PEOPLE.My Dad, Barney would have loved being there. The O’Connell Family will be back!Thank you, Bill Kline!“
“Absolutely confused why they closed the location on Reynolds Road near Maumee a few years ago. Loved that one and missed it dearly. Visited this location hoping it was still a home run and my goodness it’s even better!! The Memphis Mac is a 10/10 must have and they have bottomless fries!! $13.99 for a huge delicious packed grilled cheese and bottomless fries is incredible!! Only suggestion I would make is please open more locations because this place is too good!! The service was fast and friendly!!“
“People were friendly awesome enjoyable to be around the atmosphere was great smoking outside which is great also had sitting outside a lot of good people there bands play on the weekends dancing in a fun time mingling and meet new peopleParking: Parking across the street you can see your vehicle at all times the business owns the parking so it's kind of nice“
“Just stopped in for a few drinks while catching up with a friend ? A Miami Vice with a kicker. The staff is always friendly and attentive!!! I have eaten here before and the food is always delicious ? When it's warm outside, I like to sit on the “
“Didn't get food. Choice of beers was amazing. Got a flight of all the stouts on the draft menu board. Bartender was extremely knowledgeable about the beers. Went early in afternoon on a Saturday so place was quieter than usual. To-Go canned options are staggering. Becoming one of our favorites when visiting Toledo.Wheelchair accessibility: Single door entrance in front. Curb cuts from the parking lot. The bar is all high top seating but plenty of tables with moveable chairs for everyone. Bathroom accessible. Might be challenging for people sensitive to loud noises if a game is on or trivia night. Some to-go beers might be out of reach for some but staff is willing to help if needed.“
“My husband and I and a friend had lunch on Saturday at 2pm at the Heather Downs location. and it was fantastic. Our server Katie was phenomenal. The food was delish. The only thing we had an issue with was how loud the house music was. We could barely hear each other over it. However we will definitely be back. So good!“
“I had a good experience here on a Saturday night dinner date. Beef Wellington was good and tender, thin crust, though. My better half got the salmon, and it was flavorful, but the rice that accompanied it was extremely bland. I wish they offered a few more menu options. It was a relaxing and loungful experience.“
“Cool little spot mostly locals. Lots of TVs the food is really really good. They have board games for you to play. 5$ boneless chunks on Thursdays. Smashburger was good as well. patties aren't thin at all but the burger was good overall very good value. Bartender was very helpful and friendly and just made our experience all that much better. We will be coming back they have a whole page of pizzas I want to try.“
“It was my first time there and they made me feel like family. They were very welcoming, served me right away, as soon I needed a fresh one they made it a point to come over. It has a very homely feel to it, everyone that walks in is treated as if they've been there 100 times.“
“Local bar with dog-friendly outdoor patio. Servers were great. We got appetizers and drinks for the humans. Potato skins were loaded with bacon. Chicken strips were pounded thin but tasted great. Great experience. I would happily go back when we're in the area.“
“We saw this place on our way to a bar and wanted to check it out. We stepped in and realized it was a music venue too! We came in early enough to get in without cover, but the space is really nice and has pinball machines. I'll have to come back when they have a band on because I bet this place gets packed. Really cool spot!“
“We've been here a few times and we normally come for the basement, but they do have a great sports bar vibe upstairs. The crowd is local and the food is great bar food. The staff has an amazing list of all their awards that are given by the regulars and it gets everyone involved in the bar area. The food and bar are good, but the staff really makes this place. It's a must if you're looking for a place to come and watch the game.“
“A cherished and celebrated local watering hole! It's a solid neighborhood haunt where you can catch up with friends over drinks or grab some standard bar comfort food.Drop in for affordable breakfast plates, hearty salads, sandwiches and burgers, plus pizzas and dinner options. My go-to dishes are the Houdini burger, fish and fries, and Jamaican jerk chicken (with extra lime wedges). Each month, they put out a new paper placemat with different specials and events, so be sure to check out what's new!Parking: The standard strip mall style parking, with several businesses sharing a common lot.“
“My husband and I tried this restaurant last friday for the first time tonight. It was not a good experience. The manager made it right and gave us a gift card to come give them another try. The 2nd time going was much better, quick service, the food tasted good too. So glad we had the opportunity to give them another shot.“
“First of all, the service is great, we went in with 20 people, celebrating a graduation, and the staff was so accommodating, we ordered pizza and apps, the pizza is great, the apps were great, we had a really good experience and will definitely be back, so much to do with all the games and bowling, sorry I didn't get pics of the food, next time for sure!“
“This restaurant was awesome! Comfortable atmosphere with a warm feel. Service was excellent, Sarah was great. Salmon and Chicken entrees were well seasoned and delicious. Red Skin mashed potatoes were amazing. Brussels were crisp. Drink menu and beverages were extensive and almost overwhelming, but a great selection of bourbons, beer, and gin from what I saw.Dietary restrictions: Some GF (not sure about Celiac friendly). Vegetarian and vegan options. I have a celiac daughter who wasn’t with us. We are not vegetarian or vegan so I can’t speak to the variety or cross contamination.Parking: No problem with parking. Right in front of the restaurant m.Kid-friendliness: Did not see any children while we were here, but we were in the bar.“
