“This has been a crazy extended weekend. Shary and I drove out to Lorain for the eclipse and started having mystical experiences before we were even halfway to the Ariel Hotel. For example, Shary saw a road sign for an attraction that kind of reminded us of that Frank Lloyd Wright house, Falling Waters. She plops that into the GPS and BAM! GPS says turn right at the next exit. So we get to see that. On the way there we pass a place we went white water rafting! Great memories. And of course, Falling Waters is rad. Anyway, we get to the hotel and the weekend just gets stranger. So fun. Everyone is all spazzing out about the eclipse. We meet a clothing designer. Whatever. So yeah. Back to this spot. Eclipse done. Fancy dinner for us vacationers? An internet search suggested this spot would be worth the 25 min drive from Lorain. And it was. Oysters. Cooked dates. Good drinks. Very good end to an extended weekend!“

“This is my favorite Panera in our local area! I usually use the drive -thru & I have never had a non friendly person greet me.... the food is great... I have only had one mistake & when I called, they were quick to give me options to fix the mistake & add a bonus for my inconvenience!! I drive somewhat out of my way just because I feel this is the best location around!!!“

My husband had the Chicken Picatta, which was, unfortunately, overcooked, but our server, Kelly, was fantastic and exchanged his meal for one perfectly cooked. Kelly saved the day! “Fried chicken is one of my favorite things so I was eager to try this place. I wanted to try one of the sandwiches. You can order it with crispy or grilled chicken. I opted for the Hawaiian sandwich. The flavor was good but I think it was dry and lacked sauce. I would recommend ordering sauce on the side although it is extra. We had fried mushrooms and onion rings on the side. I believe all their apps are fried foods. It did not matter to me but might matter to some people; they do not have coke products to drink. They only carry a local bottled soda. Overall I would come back and recommend.“

“We ordered cheese ragoons, which do have imitation crab in them. They were large in size & portion. Their sweet and sour sauce is homemade with a wonderful citrus flavor. The salad dressing was so good being mostly mango flavor, but the salad needed cucumber and carrots or something. It was just romaine lettuce and needed something to help it feel refreshing. We ordered a spicy crab roll. It was very tasty & looked gorgeous. I had chicken teriyaki with veggies and white rice. I could get brown rice, but not fried rice due to portions per our waitress. It was very good! My teenage son had chicken soba noodles. It was also very good! I feel like each food item was priced well and everything was full of flavor.They do not have adult beverages. They have four soda options in a can and several types of tea. They do not offer refills and each can is pricey. My daughter said her water tasted funny. Hopefully, this is something they can work on.Our waitress was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. It is a small place, so it cannot fit a lot of people at once. However, it is very cute and clean. Bathroom is very clean, but no paper towels... which I HATE! Especially for those new mom's out there!Overall, we had a wonderful experience. I would highly recommend.“

“Shop is so cute and clean and smells wonderful. The fresh bottled juice options are always stocked and there is a wide variety of flavors and blends. I like the energy and anti-inflammatory varieties best and there are at least three to choose from in the case so it’s easy to grab and go. I’ve also tried the Energy Bites and they are delicious. The granola is also yummy. Parking is great. Staff members have been super friendly and helpful. Vibe is chill and inviting here. Love it.“

Wife had the mango sorbet and I had a triple taster. We loved our selections. This place is incredible. It's a regional ice cream shop that's open year round. “The Gourmet Gastronauts tried this restaurant for our food club and everyone loved it!!! There were numerous different meats you can pick from as well as a lot of various toppings! They even had yummy alcoholic drinks. You order at the front and then get most of the food immediately to sit down. There was 9 of us and we had no issues finding a spot to sit. The only downfall was the music was a tad loud so we could not hear each other. Would go back“

“First time visitors while we were shopping nearby. Food was delicious, arrived quickly on a busy night, and the server Nancy was a true professional. As one of the reviews said, we really appreciated that the owner gave us a time period, which can be 1-2 hours. Today, on a whim, we decided to try again and this time was a success! Both the Pad Thai and green curry were superior! You can taste the quality ingredients and skill that took to prepare them. We opted for medium, which was a good call! “Taki's is great, but it is pretty difficult as a celiac! I did not even make it through dinner..... That said, our server was wonderful, and did her best. My gyro-connoisseur husband liked, but did not love the gyro. The pita bread looked amazing, and I was told it was. I had the kitchen salad with grilled chicken, which was juicy and flavorful. Taki's is very popular and busy, and the staff is great, especially the bartenders. Give it a try!!!“

“Great coffee shop to work or study at! There’s a full food menu, baked goods, and coffee. I get the avocado toast and the frozen buckeye frappe and personally love it. There’s a lot of outlets which is nice but can get verrrry loud, so bring headphones! Overall I’d definitely recommend for a quick coffee or to work/study.“

“I finally visited Luca West on Friday evening, May 17th 2024. I arrived for an early dinner with a friend at 4:40pm. I came strictly for happy hour ($7) which is from 4:30pm to 6:00pm. CUSTOMER SERVICE (5/5) -- Our host/server, Danijela, was wonderful. She was managing the bar as well on a busy evening and she did a great job bringing water, complimentary bread/oil, and our dinner to the table. She was very attentive and friendly. Excellent. FOOD - HAPPY HOUR (5/5) -- Happy Hour is a great deal at just $7 a plate. I ordered the Orecchiette pasta and tried some of the calamari that my friend ordered. The Orecchiette is made with Italian Fennel Sausage, Rapini , and White Wine. It was just your classic orecchiette and I enjoyed it. The calamari was tasty as well. I especially loved dipping the soft bread into the calamari tomato sauce. The quantity (size) of both dishes was more than enough food for one person and I was full after leaving. My friend ordered a drink, the peach bellini ($7) which she enjoyed. I don't drink alcohol so I didn't get a drink. I can't wait to return to try other italian dishes. I heard their patio is beautiful so I'd love to see it next time (it wasn't opened today). At just $7 a plate during happy hour, you can't get a better deal than that anywhere else in town, that I know of. TIP -- The entrance may pull you away because it doesn't look like a restaurant but you are in the right spot. Luca West is just connected to an office building. “Had an excellent experience here! Staff was very friendly and attentive. They have a large menu and everything we ate was delicious and creative. Most exciting, they were incredibly accommodating for gluten allergies with GF soy sauce, a dedicated gluten free menu, and substitutions available on most items from the normal menu.Dietary restrictions: The staff was so flexible and accommodating of gluten allergies. “Food: We ordered the Tofu Makhani and Sagg Mushroom dishes along with the saffron rice and garlic naan. I asked the spice level to be medium for the makhani because that's typically a good spice level for me at other restaurants. However, there was no detectable heat at all and I can't say it tasted like a typical curry. While it tasted great, it was basically just a sweet tomato sauce. Very impressed with the Sagg mushroom though and the garlic nan was great. As a note, most entrees don't come with rice so you have to order it if you want it. Service: Attentive and polite service, did not have to wait long for food. It was not busy when we went so that might change but otherwise it was very good. Atmosphere: Calm and quiet atmosphere. Again, it wasn't busy when we were there but I imagine it's fairly similar.“

The atmosphere was very welcoming the prices are very reasonable and so far I have not a single complaint the food is delicious. I thought the regular coffee was pretty good too. And the tables and inside were clean and stocked. When I first ordered, one person asked what he could start for me and I named the first item and then he started making that and walked away before I could mention the other things and then another staff person asked what they could make for me, I think three different people made my order. I was a first timer so I found this confusing. Once I was done ordering I then had to repeat the order again to the cashier. It was odd ordering, but they made it all happen, and we liked the food.“

My only complaint was that I’m almost positive the veggies were frozen and microwaved.They were swamped so even with reservations, there was a bit of a wait. “Taco Mike’s food truck is top tier! I have been to all kinds of different places with Mexican cuisine and taco mike gives them a run for their money. On my last visit I got the birria “dippy” tacos and I have had them at about 10 different places and these ones took the cake. The food and presentation is similar to Chipotle but Asian cuisine.
