Every trip here is a huge treat with tons of options no matter what you are in the mood for and new specials every time. Probably beats out every restaurant in the area in food, which is an impossible feat for Lakewood, and a very romantic atmosphere. It's a must stop for vegans in Lakewood and it surely must be for omnivores as well.“
“What a great experience this is! Some background: I have never been to Cleveland, but i came to visit my BESTIE! She picks me up from the airport and the FIRST place we go is here! She told me we are going to a really cool coffee place. If she says it is...IT IS! And that was an understatement. The atmosphere calls for sitting here FOR HOURS (if i lived here, we would have!). They have books, games, art on the wall. AND THEY HAVE COFFEE!!! Normally, you might say coffee is coffee, but i now call it the Roasted Exception! As soon as we walked in, we were given STELLAR service by this wonderful red-headed (did not know her name) barista. She was friendly, helpful, and quite knowledgeable (and she laughed at my jokes too, which should give her a Nobel for kindness). My first stop in Cleveland was here, where we went to a back room, which had the most charming furniture. I was in such a state of elation being here and the coffee. Although i had the normal drip with cream; it was truly some of the smoothest that i have had. Did not need to re-make what they made for me. My BFF had the decaf oatmilk latte with chocolate, seemingly exceeding her expectations too. We had a great time here and enjoyed the tradition of "doing coffee". I recommend Roasted Lakewood wholeheartedly and would be here all the time if i lived here!! Oh, and bring a BFF like mine too just to enhance the experience!“
“While The Fruit Bowl is very delicious Be mindful that it is exactly that a delicious fruit bowl with no base. No Acai or other fruit base. I assumed it was a fruit based bowl with toppings of my choice it was only fruit. Delicious Though! And I am not sure why I received waffle bites instead of the crepe I ordered; but I do understand how the demand is these days for restaurant. I just want to share for others that the fruit bowls are fruit only. No base. Maybe unless you choose the bowl that actually says Acai bowl.“

The area to eat is small but cute and there was also a bit of a funny smell like maybe cleaning products but it was off putting. “Little coffee shop tucked next to the entrance of the Statler with lots of copper decor. Inside there is a small counter with 3 barstools...and the counter to order from. Not your come chill with friends coffee shop. I am a black americano drinker...so judging just on the coffee...it is not quite as good as some other downtown shops, but not bad. Looks like they have lots of flavored options that people were ordering and liked. Baristas were very friendly.“

“Went here with my sister and a few friends. I'd never been to any of their locations before so i wasn't sure what to expect. There were two younger girls working at the front, serving each member of our party as we came. Once it came to my turn, i asked one of the girls if she knew what was in the smoothies because of my allergies. She listed every ingredient to me and explained that they use coconut cream instead of dairy milk because of specific allergies! After me, my sister went, who has MANY severe allergies. She asked about a good handful of the foods, the coconut, the peanut butter and granola etc. The same girl who made my bowl also made hers. She took my sister to the other side of the store and let her read the ingredients of the peanut butter containers. Once she approached the other side of the bowl building station, she told my sister she would go to the back of the store to get her coconut to avoid cross contamination. I didn't catch the name of either of these girls, however they both worked extremely efficiently, they gave us GREAT portion sizes. I've never been so impressed with younger people working at a food place. Many people do not care about the quality and safety of food being delivered to their customers. Great job! Will definitely be back extremely soon with my family.“
“I come here every year when I go to CL. It is absolutely fantastic. Every time the server is very friendly and kind. We order a make your own bowl and they have countless options to choose from with tags. The food is so so SO tasty and very filling. They have so many smoothies too and they are so good. Everything is a very reasonable and affordable price compared to other trash restaurants like Dunkin and Starbucks which take 6$ for one small drink made up of sugar and ice water. If i could give this place over 100 stars I would.“

“I get food from here at minimum once a week, typically closer to twice. This is my favorite spot to grab food in Hingetown/Ohio City. You don’t have to be vegan to love their menu. I am never bored, and all of the staff I have interacted with are chill and friendly. Very excited to see what they do in the new space!My favorite menu items are the Blue Juice (recent obsession), the bravocado sandwich, and the Buffalo springpea salad. I love that most of the sandwiches can be a salad as well for the days I don’t want the bread. Best and most filling salads.“
“I just visited Vitality Bowls in Berea for the first time and oh my goodness I am so excited we now have this amazing addition to our community! I got the Chimichurri Steak Wrap and Go green smoothie and both are delicious and very filling! The best part is their ingredients are actually healthy using grass-fed beef and real ingredients in their smoothies (no added sugars, syrups, additives, etc.). They also use organic ingredients when they can, which I feel is so rare! It's hard to find fast places that are not only "healthier", but also use good ingredients in the items they serve. Had a lovely conversation with the owner as well and the girl who took my order was so sweet! As someone who works from home and often gets takeout for lunch....I will definitely be back!“

“Kafela is a St. Clair-Superior neighborhood gem! This breakfast and lunch cafe gives off such a positive vibe from the moment you walk in. I was greeted not only by a friendly face at the counter, but also many large green plants and sunlight filling the space. All of the menu items are named after locations and nods to sunny Los Angles. I got the Berry Much L.A. smoothie which was delish. I also got the Lavender Love Spell drink, which was lemonade with a lavendar butterfly tea that sparkled! For my meal, I got the chicken ceasar wrap with a side of sweet potato fries. The wrap was good. Classic caesar, although the chicken was well seasoned and I liked that the wrap was partially toasted. The sweet potato fries were delicious. When I inquired about the seasoning on the fries, I was told that they made their own sunshine blend to sprinkle on top. I couldn't place the flavors, but it was amazing! The star of my meal was the deep fried oreos. I wanted to leave with something sweet and these oreos did not disappoint! They had a chocolate drizzle and powdered sugar on top and came with a scoop of vegan vanilla ice cream. Fried oreos are usually only good when they're hot, I ate these cold all throughout the day and enjoyed every bite. The best part of Kafela is seeing how much of a gathering space it's become for people in the neighborhood. There were so many members of the community coming in throughout the time I was there to pick up a smoothie, order lunch, or just say hello and chat with the owner or other patrons. It truly felt like a place you could call home and I loved that.“

“Me and my girlfriend had a great time here on a Wednesday night. We got there around 10pm and stayed until 11:30pm. We had a pineapple head on our hookah and it hit really well. The staff were attentive and changed out the coals free of charge. We also had a White Claw and a Bud Light. It was served with a chocolate cake desert that was delicious! 5 stars and will be back!“

“Delicious wraps! We got the beet salad bowl, and chicken Caesar wraps on low carb wraps. Warm and just enough dressing in the wrap. Love that they and low carb wrap options. Delicious and quick. Only thing that bummed me out was not child friendly. My 18mo had nowhere to sit as the chairs are metal and light and he could tip over from being the wiggly boy he is. Thankfully I had my stroller with me and put him in there.“
“Okay so there is not enough smoothie Kings around Cleveland Ohio I'm tired of going to Pulp and wanted to try something different so beyond juicery I noticed there are a few around I usually order fresh lemonade from Pope which uses fresh lemons which I really love so beyond juicery does juices but they're lemonade is already pre-made and they just add fruit to it which I do not think that is a fresh lemonade if you are already using a juice that is already made.“

You cannot hold that against anyone or any organization. It is what it is. LaRonda works very hard to attract and hire people who can be trainable, teachable, and coachable in order to prepare them for a future in this industry. It's up to the employee to take the bait and work to better themselves. Every person I've encountered since their opening in 2021 has been professional, courteous and respectful to customers.In terms of food quality - TOP NOTCH! When your food is made FRESH and TO ORDER, you cannot expect to get it in a hurry, although there are many grab-and-go options to choose from if you cannot wait. It's also FIRST COME - FIRST SERVE. You cannot play leap frog and jump the line when there are online and call-ahead orders that need to be filled. If you're pressed for time, go somewhere else. It's sad that this has to be said, but it's horrible to slam a small-minority-owned business for no reason.My experience has been the best! Never had an issue. Food is always the best. “My husband and I made dinner reservations for 7:30 on a Friday evening. The waiting area is a tad confusing; you're suppose to check in upstairs before they escort you down the stairs. So, wait until you're greeted upstairs before you head downstairs. The atmosphere is very chic. We were seated at the table across from the stairs. I noticed throughout our time there that many people came immediately downstairs just to go up the stairs again. My personal opinion is there should be a clear sign upon entry to wait upstairs before being escorted down. Service was slow in the beginning; it was most likely due to the fact that there were multiple parties seated before us at the same time. Nevertheless, I counted about 5-6 working servers, 2-3 bartenders, and 1 very active hostess so that shouldn't be an issue. Our server, Miguel, took about 8 minutes to greet us and take our beverage order. The wait time when we were seated set precedent of the wait for food and drinks the entire evening. Because of that realization, we ordered our drinks and appetizer immediately, then our entree before appetizer even came out. Our drinks consisted of Caipirinha, Resurrection, and Mango Jalapeño Margarita. The food were empanadas, carne asada, and mango salmon. It took ~18 minutes for our 2 drinks to come out. We noticed the table who arrived around 10 minutes after us received their drinks before we did. I don't know the complexity of their drink order but we should've received ours prior to them. Our appetizer came out shortly after. The food and drinks were robust, and we enjoyed them all. The empanadas were flavorful and came out piping hot. We could've ordered another plate of it. The sweet plantains with the carne asada was a sweet treat of a salty and savory dish. The salmon and mango was also a great combination. The mango is a cold topper so don't expect the salmon to come out hot. We spend about $140 with 1 appe, 2 entrees, and 3 drinks. It's a little expensive than our average date night but the portions were great :)“
