“It's been a while since we've been to Subway. We were pleasantly surprised by the new decor inside. So modern, bright and nice. Love the colors. Even the subs got new wrappers. They even have new subs like the Turkey-Cali sub and some new bread too, like Artisan Italian and Hearty Mutilgrain bread. They even offer smashed Avocado too.My son got a footlong met sub and I tried the new Chicken Ranch Sub. My son wolfed his down down and had Doritos also and aDr. Pepper. We got our subs to goBut the gentleman who took our order was helpful and we had a pleasant conversation as well. It was a pleasant lunch.“
“I went to Penn Station today and I had no clue what I was gonna get so I just let them decide. This sandwich has changed my life. It was meaty in all the right places it was warm and wet in such a perfect way. “Update: Tried to go here last night around 7:30. Door was locked even though the "Open" sign was still lit. I saw someone inside sweeping so I knocked. He said they were closed but gave no explanation. Businesses just totally do whatever they want to today. I think it's a good time for me to go back to work. This could work for me.“

“1st time here, went inside and cashier Lilli was the best! She gave me recommendations, suggested the mac & cheese and she was correct that it was delicious! The plain chicken salad on a croissant was delicious as well!It was clean inside, the staff was courteous and all the food that I saw (other patrons) looked appetizing!My only critique (not criticism) would be to put a little more chicken salad on the croissant (a little too much empty space around the edges of the bread), but not a dealbreaker!I will definitely be a repeat customer here!“
“While out running errands in Clintonville, we stopped for lunch at Wario's Beef and Pork (aka Wario's). The dining room was packed.. always a good sign. There were 8-10 menu items to choose from. We chose a beefsteak to share. There are two streak sandwiches, we chose the Steak-Wario's way. Basically a steak sandwich chopped up with cheese and onions all in a sesame seed hoagie bun. What makes it different is it has a combination of cheeses on it. My husband liked it more than Marlows in Gahanna. I thought it fell behind Marlows and South Village Grill. They are generous with the meat. The hoagie has seasame seeds on it. I did not enjoy that texture or flavor paired with the cheese steak. The steak was a bit greasy and definitely left a greasy after taste. As far as portion sizing one hoagie can absolutely be split between two people. The one thing I did note and that was disappointing was the dining room didn't feel clean. I looked to the side of my table and it was pretty dirty (see picture). My husband will be back... me, probably not. Kind of a one and done type of place for me. I was not blown away. Id say this is more like a 3.8 star place/review but since we can only use whole numbers I had to round up. But it is definitely not a solid 4.“
“All you're missing in life is the Smokey Sandusky sandwich! My daughter enjoyed her grilled cheese while the adults put away three Smokey Sandusky sandwiches! Enjoyed every bite. If you haven't had Lebanon bologna before this would be a whole new experience. We love to buy it in Amish country to use on charcuterie boards at home. The horseradish pickles don't taste much like horseradish, they are just so good. The cafe is small so you might have to wait for a seat, but it's Order-at-the-counter fare!“
“I ate a delicious supper recently [2-14-2023] at Jersey Mike's Subs at 905 High St. in the "Old Worthington" neighborhood of Worthington.I had been planning to attend a meeting that evening at the Old Worthington Library so eating immediately before my meeting at Jersey Mike's Subs [only a few blocks away from that library] had been a great choice.My food choice for supper that evening had been "#13 The Original Italian" [provolone, ham, prosciuttini, cappacuolo, salami, and pepperoni], which I had ordered served "Mike's Way."There is a different submarine restaurant that is "officially" my favorite submarine restaurant for cold subs but Jersey Mike's Subs is actually better for cold subs than that other restaurant.I really wish that there were a Jersey Mike's Subs closer to where I live because I am certain that I would eat there more often. My only options for eating at a Jersey Mike's Subs are to walk 1½ miles each way or to ride 8½ miles each way in a car [I do not drive].If you are looking for a delicious -- and very filling -- submarine sandwich, I strongly recommend Jersey Mike's Subs.“
