“The island had closed up pretty much for the season, and we had trouble finding a place open to serve us. Goat Soup and Whisky was the only one we could find still serving at that time. They make their own soups (very good) and had a better menu than we expected. Rustic atmosphere and good service.”

“Amazing breakfast in put in bay. Great view of the main street. Server was amazing and the food above excellent. Great way to start your morning on the island. I highly recommend. EnjoyUpdate: We had to go back to Pasquales Cafe for breakfast. We were beyond impressed with this dining experience. Both days we had Sirena as our server and she is by far the best server we could have asked for. She kept ours drinks full, she anticipated our needs and she has that personality that just makes your day better for having been around her. Great way to start our day and end our trip on the island. The food was top notch quality. A must visit if you are at Put in Bay. Even two days in a row we were completely satisfied each time. Great job Pasquale’s. Highly recommend.”

“I just wanted to make sure that now it's the end of the season that I expressed how amazing we think that Dominic who worked this summer is. We come to the island just about every other weekend and we stay at the carriage house often when we stay and he has went above and beyond to make sure that not only is our stay great but when we visit the winery we have everything we need. My 10 year old son thinks it's incredible that he remembers him each time he comes in and knows he always comes in for a chocolate strawberry. We have come to the island for many many many years and the service is always great but Dominic definitely shot it above and beyond. The view here is to die for too!”

“Our first visit to the island and this was our first stop after getting our golf cart. They had a special of an open face ribeye sandwich, and I upgraded from fries to onion rings. My hubby got the walleye nuggets and fries.”

“The Chocolate Cafe is fantastic! The products are of the highest quality, the service was excellent and the atmosphere is welcoming. There is a small Chocolate Museum inside that is informative and fun. They offer a nice selection of chocolates, ice cream and beverages.”

“Was recommended this place by our taxi driver and he was right. The food was good. The people were chill. Our waitress Kayla was great, even with an overflow of people. The food was good, especially the fries. If I could by a bottle of the seasoning I would. It's open year round for lunch and dinner so great place to go even during the off season.Vegetarian options: They have a small selection.”

“We spent a very warm afternoon in the pool and had a blast. The drinks were great and the DJ was awesome, didnt have any food so I can't rate it. Had fun playing pool volleyball. Lots of games to keep you entertained.”

“My Favorite Spot. Sure all the rest is wonderful. But Joe's, Joe's is the best. The fam is all watching some anime (kill me, please)... I slip out & into the golf-cart & tally ho! Off to Joe's I go!”

“I have had nothing but positive experiences with Heineman for many years. I recently decided to try ordering wine online and having it delivered and that was amazing. The packaging was great, it arrived quickly, and had a wonderful handwritten note that I really appreciated. This is my favorite winery and I doubt that will ever change.”

“They were right behind the Commodore hotel. I noticed they had the best music playing very open bar. There is plenty of room. But if course it was off-season, it was a great place to people watch .lol”

“Excellent pizza! Would definitely come back to get more pizza from Fire Engine Pizza Company.The gentleman that made our pizza today was friendly and he made us an AMAZING pizza!It was so good! “We had a couple drinks and took salad and pizza togo. Thought is was a bit high at first, but it was really good. You get what you pay for and it was worth it. Extra cheese is a must.”

“This is a very nice and peaceful yet fun stop. It has a wide variety of drinks, beers, frozen coctails, margaritas, and plenty more. There is plenty of sitting or standing room at the boardwalk for you to enjoy your drinks and in the pleasant scenery of Lake Erie and Put in Bay. They do have a couple of snack options, but not much, so I recommend going for the drinks and view primarily.”
