“Food is really good. Love the specials they have throughout the week. What’s sad to see is that in the last few weeks they have gotten rid of their pool table and replaced it with extra seating. But haven’t increased the staff (typically only 1 bartender ) running the entire bar. Hopefully the management can change that due to the increase volume and customers walking out due to the lack of service.“

“After a long exciting day at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, we needed fuel before our return to Chicago. We googled "food near us", not wanting a chain. The rating was about 4.5 so we decided to try it. Initially I asked the other patrons if food is actually served there, and they pointed to an area where the owner was cooking. He was genuine and warm, we ordered beverages before he returned to the kitchen to finish another customer's food order. My gyros was terrific and flavorful and my husband's club sandwich was also loved. It was clear the French fries were fresh - we are some even though trying to hold up to our resolutions to eat more healthily. One comment mentioned by a previous reviewer, yes it is a bar with a grill and not a restaurant per se. It would be helpful if the ambiance was enhanced a bit so females felt more at home. The bathrooms could use some TLC, and the floor tiles a nail or two to prevent tripping. Looking at it through a new set of eyes is the way to go. Think: date not boy's club and attract a new crowd. I was then asked for my order and well , how do I say this, I ordered a simple burger and then was asked if I wanted to see how they got their beef, I was taken to the back and was then molested by 2-3 of their employees. “Best spot in Cleveland, hands down.My friends and I were in town to visit Ray's Bike Park and we stayed in Ohio City. B and G Tavern became our "go to" for every night after riding. Relaxed place with good choices in music and plenty of pool tables! The owners are amazing and super friendly! They get into the party spirit all while maintaining professional control over their establishment. “This was our first experience with ordering from here. Fresh ! Fresh ! Buffalo chicken wraps, 1 with crumble, 1 with ranch and 1 with blue cheese dressing. All came with fries. Fries were good, plenty of ketchup and napkins. Food was hot, wraps were grilled and huge, vegetables inside fresh, chicken was crispy dressing was good. Loved this wrap! Next time I would skip the fries and only order wrap. Too much food. Lol. I also ordered Caesar wrap to try grilled chicken. Not my fav, but if it had shaved parm, and some tomato slices it would be great. Romaine was crunchy and chicken was hot. Just a little plain. Overall I'll say great first experience! “Five star service. Came in hungry, but the kitchen just closed. The bartender made an quick inquiry and said "order quick and I'll make it happen. Hot wings were not spicy at all, but still tasty. Mozzarella sticks were over cooked and the cheese came out, but they quickly took care of it. The drinks are cheap. The people are friendly and the staff rocks.“

Tommy's is quiet, full of regulars, not to mention the smell of popcorn and skeeball are enough to make you want to come back. Sit at the bar or on the front porch, either way stop in, play some keno and stay awhile. Will definitely be back.“
