“I've been meaning to come here for a while and finally tried it last night.. Incredible food and experience. The staff is informative but not overbearing- the food is top notch and has something for everyone. We had a few cocktails, meatballs and crabcakes, the gem salad, the risotto and short ribs. Don't skip dessert- we had the carrot cake ice cream sandwich.The ingredients are clearly sourced well and the whole team really shows you that they want you to have an awesome time.Will absolutely be back. “This place was amazing! I took my 18-year-old daughter here for dinner and she tried something new to her. Turns out she wasn't a fan (not because it wasn't good) But simply because they were flavors she wasn't familiar with. As it is with trying anything new, there's a fifty/ fifty chance you won't like it. Needless to say they were very understanding, and accommodating. Mike got our new order in right away, and went out of his way to make sure our experience was a good one. Thank you also to our wonderful server, Bella. The waffle fries were to die for, especially with the cheese sauce; the menu said it's beer cheese but luckily I couldn't taste beer. The Little Gem Salad was disappointing, though; the romaine wasn't cut! You get it whole, so I had to cut it up. I had to prep my own salad! “I come here every year when I go to CL. It is absolutely fantastic. Every time the server is very friendly and kind. We order a make your own bowl and they have countless options to choose from with tags. The food is so so SO tasty and very filling. They have so many smoothies too and they are so good. Everything is a very reasonable and affordable price compared to other trash restaurants like Dunkin and Starbucks which take 6$ for one small drink made up of sugar and ice water. We sat in front near the bar thankfully since it seemed a little quieter there than the back. Although the atmosphere was comfortable regardless. That salad is delicious and I am pretty sure I keep craving it. Both the sausage and poutine were delicious and flavorful as well. After 12 years of living in Cleveland, I have finally found a fish fry that matches up to the delicious ones I ate growing up in upstate NY. I grew up eating giant, meaty, beer battered haddock that wouldn't even close up in the Styrofoam take out containers ? I was pleasantly surprised to know that the chicken was indeed very crispy and a comfortable amount of heat instead of making me run for my drink. I also ordered the bourbon smash seltzer which was AMAZING! The staff recommended it and it did not disappoint.Both of the gentlemen working the front, Richard and Gary, were a pleasure to meet. “My favorite hot dog to order out is a Chicago Dog. Game On Lakewood is one of the rare places that actually carry one. It has been a while since I had one anyhwere and decided I would walk up and order a couple this evening. Bartender Jackie took my order and it came out in a timely manner. These 2 Chicago Dogs were among the best I ever had. Everything was awesome. The bun seemed to be slightly toasted and actually stayed together the entire time I ate the sandwich - a common problem with Chicago Dogs is there is so much on the dog that the bun tears up toward the end but not this time, and this dog was loaded. Jackie noted that there was a new cook in the kitchen and she said he knew what he was doing - I told her to tell him it was one of the best Chicago Dog's I ever had which she did. A couple of other people at the bar were having dinner as well and everyone seemed to be enjoying their meals (no one had anything leftover on their plates). WIthout a doubt I will be back for dinner or lunch in the future!“

We requested the Beef Wellington when booking the reservation, and there was exactly one left when we arrived so maybe they saved it for us. We were seated immediately upon arrival, at a cozy (but tight) table near the fire.The wait staff was friendly, albeit a bit inattentive. There were a lot of people in the restaurant when we arrived, so I think that contributed to it. Also, there were quite a few challenging guests. I'm sure that put them on edge. But we were accommodated well enough. Thanks Olivia. I especially appreciate her arranging that virgin Moscow Mule. It was absolutely fabulous. It seems that the bar can certainly make a good cocktail!On to the food. My wife's beef wellington was delicious. The flavors were spot on and the pastry was perfectly baked. The steak however was a little overcooked. It was more medium, than medium rare. Fortunately, the meat was clearly well selected so it was still tender.My duck on the other hand was not good and I strongly discourage ordering it. It would have benefitted from slightly less time in the oven. The crispy honey glaze was underwhelming. Quite frankly, the dish lacked flavor. I’ll the pork next time.Overall our experience was a positive one, and I feel confident about recommending it. This is a place that has a good atmosphere but doesn’t make too much fuss about itself. It stands on its food and it stands well. Based on the rest, I think the duck is an outlier and not a true representation of their quality.Parking: The parking lot is a little small for all the people they can accommodate in the restaurant.“

“It was good to find a small diner that was open on a Monday. Many small businesses we tried were closed. The waitresses were very friendly and thorough. Our drinks were refilled without asking. Our order was taken quickly but the food took a while to come out. The food was hot and tasty and worth the wait. My friend had the Big Egg omelette. It was a very large portion and filled with plenty of meat and veggies served with a side of hash browns. I had the garden skillet which was eggs over red skinned potatoes. The veggies were peppers, onions, mushrooms and spinach. Very fresh tasting and large enough portions. Prices here are very affordable. This place is definitely worth a try. They don't only serve breakfast.“
