“I've been going to this ice cream parlor since I was a child. It was so much fun to take my children here as well. Will definitely come back throughout the spring and summer.. To my knowledge this place is cash only, per signs. They have a QR code for their menu, for longer lines (but fast paced environment).“

It really is tiny with only a counter to sit at and a few small tables, but you can enjoy your ice cream outside or head to Gatherall Food Hall to grab a seat. They have a wide variety of ice cream some of which are dairy free. You can get a waffle cup, waffle cone or simple cup. The scoops are pretty small. But the ice cream itself is so rich that the standard size was perfect. Loved it. Was tempted to take some home but no way to keep it frozen.“

Only one confusing point: they have a saying “skip the line and order online.” Well yesterday I ordered ahead online, but when I got there they were busy with in-person orders. I was the very last person served despite having ordered before everyone. I received my order 20 minutes after the original estimated time. I asked the worker and she said they prioritize in person orders. So if they’re busy, I guess it’s faster to order in person? Otherwise great place and great staff.“

“This location is an ice cream parlor with a difference. The ice cream is Mexican inspired, and I can assure you that the Mexicans do not accept pale flavored ice cream. Also, they make the ice cream on site, from fresh ingredients--and I can confirm that the fruits are fresh since my ice cream had a couple of cherry pits in it. So be careful about biting down! We arrived here in the afternoon of a brutally hot day in Ohio. The spacious store is in a little strip mall, and its decor uses the bright paint colors you'd see in Mexico. Freezer counters fill 2 sides of the facility, one containing popsicles and other frozen treats in exotic flavors, the other a wide array of ice cream. The counter clerk seemed happy to provide us with as many sample spoons as we'd have wanted, so I got to taste the cappuccino--intense! and the coconut pineapple--fruit forward but a nice toasted coconut finish--and the caramel, and do they know how to make caramel. But I settled on a medium cup with half yellow cherry and half pistachio--I just love pistachio ice cream! And this rich, sticky mound of green dairy was as good as it gets. The yellow cherry, as noted, had a couple of cherry pits lurking in it--the yellow variety is, I guess, a bit more subtle than the red. I am definitely planning on more of their excellent product!“

“It's quite easy to say that Freddy's has replaced steak and shake for me. I love their burgers and have absolutely never had a bad order yet. As they are a cook to serve restaurant sometimes the wait can be longer than most but never has it been too long. I admit I have not had anything other than their burgers or even been inside so can't go too into detail about their inside. Service has always been a high priority as well.“

I also got a cup of dark chocolate decadence frozen custard. The employees I interacted with were polite & helpful. I was given a number & asked to pull forward & wait for my order. An employee brought it out within 4 minutes. I was impressed that the fries were steaming hot! The spicy chicken sandwich was good & made as I requested. I always enjoy the frozen custard - yum! I'd eat here again.“
