The Alfredo was absolutely the best I have had in town. The pasta was drowning in the Alfredo which is how I prefer. The Caesar salad was really delicious.”

“We love Local Roots! We found them after a family member recommended and have been coming since. We’ll even take a day trip and fold it in to support small biz. I so appreciate their sweet staff asks each time if I need a dedicated GF toaster for my bread 😋, and they happily modify some of my menu items if needed. The newer location is spacious, just as bright, and has coffee! Thank you for choosing such great ingredients and going the extra mile for great taste, presentation and fun merch, too!”

“Amazing food. Whether you eat in the restaurant, take out or catering it is the most amazing and consistent food. It is our family’s favorite take out and we just had them cater a large (30) family dinner. The food was delivered and it was perfect. Huge quantities and delicious. All of our family was impressed with the meal and loved everything. I would highly recommend for quiet restaurant, great take out, or catering. Wonderful food and great service. Thank you!!”

“McKiddy Cakes was so fantastic to work with from start to finish. We were looking for something other than cake for our wedding and Jessica took our ideas and ran with them, even going so far as to create a custom dessert shooter to add to our table. Her communication was great, every phone call or email was answered and she set everything up day of. The desserts were fantastic, our guests were thrilled and our blueberry lemon cheesecake was the centerpiece of our table. Would recommend 1000%.”

“I just moved to Sylvania and I came to VI and tried the pizza. I wasn’t expecting much and it was way above my expectations. I then tried the smash burger next. Again, it was way above my expectations. It was one of the best smash burgers I had. Taylor who is very friendly and informative every time I come in, recommended the Cuban. Which I tried that next and it was amazing. I have had it 4 times now and it’s the best Cuban I’ve ever had. I also learned they smoke their own meats which you can tell immediately. I met Tony the kitchen manager and he actually takes pride in his job and cares about the customers. Which this day and age is completely surprising and almost extinct from the workplace. Everyone is nice and welcoming. All the waitresses are hot. Food is great. Everyone is nice and friendly including the clientele. If you like pizza come here. And if you love sandwiches and burgers, come here.”

“We ate dinner there last night, service and everything was great as usual until I got home with our Burris burrito and I found out they it was 90% rice and had trouble finding any shredded beef , really disappointed with the lack of meat. I hope in the future when you get a to go order that doesn’t happen. My son had the same Burrito there and it had a lot of meat in it, so I don’t know why the to go order was a complete opposite?”

“Wish I could do 3.5. Food was fine, but don’t expect anything for free as just good service. Was charged $4 for extra veggies for our wings. Seems a bit insane of an up charge, especially if you don’t warn people. Other than that, great.”

“This evening was my first time checking out the taproom. I no longer live in Sylvania and tonight that breaks my heart because I can't eat their spinach pie every day. I would eat this breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Our server, Krista, was fab. Excellent service, great food, great drinks. Full stop. Krista made our night special. Spot on food and drink recommendations and excellent service. Did I mention the spinach pie?? Best I've ever had. I'm glad we did ourselves the favor of going to the Taproom. It is an experience we won't soon forget. Thanks to our amazing bartender, chef, and server!!”

“I can’t say enough good things about Geo’s Pizzas & Loft at the Sylvania Tamoshanter Rink! The staff is incredibly friendly and always provides great service, creating a welcoming atmosphere for adults, kids, and families alike. Every bartender I’ve interacted with goes above and beyond to remember customer names and favorite food or drink orders, which really makes you feel valued.

As a mom of two hockey players who spends 4–7 days a week at the rink, I absolutely love this place! I would highly recommend stopping by for a yummy meal and a few laughs if you’re at the rink for any sport or activity. The combination of excellent food, drinks, and an inviting atmosphere makes Geo’s Pizzas & Loft a standout spot for anyone visiting the rink.

“We came here for dinner and there were 7 of us. Hostess told us there was not a table available so they put us on a list. Than she told us we had to wait in our car. My grandchildren were busy playing on the game machines so I asked her if we could just hang out by the games and she was very rude to me and said we were in the way. So we had to take the small children outside and wait. So than we kept seeing people coming in with the same amount of people being seated before us. Finally when we were seated the waitress took our order and we literally waited for an hour and a half for our food. The waitress got an attitude with us when we asked about our order instead of apologizing to us. I probably would of understood if the place was busy but by the time we sat down all the tables around us were empty. I felt very disrespected and felt like the hostess and the waitress were very rude . Also the food was terrible. I will never go to this place ever again. Terrible customer service”

“The pizzas are absolutely delicious! It's a perfect thin crust and the specialty pizzas are great! I really enjoy the buffalo chicken.

Service is lacking, however. My in-laws got the wrong pizza and were not provided with updates for their corrected pizza.

There is no music, which makes it feel empty even when it's full.

The bathrooms could use a deep clean as the floors are sticky.”

“The only unfortunate thing about my experience at this Taco Bell was that I did not get the names of the kind ladies that helped us. We had a mobile order that had customizations they could not accommodate so they asked what I would like instead. They were also just a fun crew. Bathrooms and restaurant was clean. Even had a clear window you could watch them make the food. Would come back again :)”
