“I can’t explain how much I enjoyed my first dinner at Ciao. My son took me out for Mother’s Day and this is where we decided to go. I went all the way to Italy and back only a week ago in search of amazing food (specifically pasta in a cheese wheel) and it turns out I just had to go to Toledo. Gino, our server was personable and attentive. Excellent service!!”

It is our family’s favorite take out and we just had them cater a large (30) family dinner. The food was delivered and it was perfect. Huge quantities and delicious. “I went here as a kid with my parents often and last night I continued the tradition with my daughter. Having her experience such amazing and interesting food at three and a half was great, but having the owner and our server help my daughter with learning how to use chopsticks might take the cake for the most wholesome experience possible. They even got her a special cup that was a little easier to handle. What a special place. Side note: she has some food allergies and everyone was super cool about that as well. I know how hard that can be for those who want to dine out.”

“A comfortable diner in a convenient location. I always get a good breakfast no matter what time I go in.

Vegetarian options: I’ve been a vegetarian (not vegan) for 47 years and tend to just order what I know I can eat without fully examining menus. So all I can attest to here is that I was happy with the French toast, eggs, and hash browns that I have been served a few times.”

“Ordered cheese bread and a small 9” pizza and wow! The cheese bread appetizer is basically a 12” cheese pizza with a side of pizza dipping sauce ! Plenty enough to eat on its own!

It’s hard to rate a pizza against Fredi the pizza man in Melvindale MI which is phenomenal if you like a New York style pizza which I do.

But, I think it’s a really really bad idea for the Village Inn to serve a pizza that they baked in a plastic dish . Even if it was BPA free which I don’t know if the pizza dishes are, or, aren’t BPA free . The idea of safe plastic for cooking anything is concerning.
Their pizzas would be much crispier if baked in a pizza oven rather than a plastic pizza dish.

Great looking place in the inside and outside as well.

“Gyro Town service is great. Food prepared fresh upon ordering. Only take out options with no tables or even a restroom. Menu posted on the wall very focused and the same as found on Google maps. Large salad is really large. Gyro good and not too heavy on the onions. Baklava is delicious. Would be a good place to call ahead to have your food waiting to pick up.

“Love the "Mom & Pop" feel of this place. Best nut roll & poppyseed roll around. I only wish they had room for a table or two & maybe a coffee pot so one could sit and enjoy their treat immediately... But I see the logistics of the storefront don't allow for this.”

“We came here for dinner and there were 7 of us. Hostess told us there was not a table available so they put us on a list. Than she told us we had to wait in our car. My grandchildren were busy playing on the game machines so I asked her if we could just hang out by the games and she was very rude to me and said we were in the way. So we had to take the small children outside and wait. So than we kept seeing people coming in with the same amount of people being seated before us. Finally when we were seated the waitress took our order and we literally waited for an hour and a half for our food. The waitress got an attitude with us when we asked about our order instead of apologizing to us. I probably would of understood if the place was busy but by the time we sat down all the tables around us were empty. I felt very disrespected and felt like the hostess and the waitress were very rude . Also the food was terrible. I will never go to this place ever again. Terrible customer service”

“I mean what is there to say it's Subway they cooked the bread they sliced the bread they slice the meat put the meat on the bread throw some cheese on it throw it in the toaster oven then it comes out and you get to pick your tomatoes lettuce onions black olives green olives pickles avocado banana peppers jalapeno peppers and your dressing then they cut the sandwich wrap it up put it in a bag with about three napkins then you get to pick your drinks or cookies or bags of chips they have everything and they always do it with a great personality and a smile the parking is a little bit of a walk to get to the store but if you watch the drunks from Tequilas you'll be safe they're happy hour brings out the worst in this town a bunch of Cheapskates wanting cheap drinks that don't know how to drink”
