“03/28/2024 I had the pleasure of celebrating my son's birthday at Brix 31, and I must say it was a perfect night! From the moment we entered, we were greeted with warm smiles and a welcoming atmosphere. The food at Brix 31 was absolutely excellent. Each dish was prepared with care and attention to detail, resulting in a burst of flavors that left our taste buds dancing with joy. The service was impeccable. The staff went above and beyond to ensure that we had everything we needed and more. They were attentive, knowledgeable, and friendly, making us feel like valued guests throughout the evening. Overall, I highly recommend Brix 31 for any special occasion or simply for a memorable dining experience. It truly exceeded our expectations and left us with beautiful memories to cherish.“

“Food is always good, hot and fresh. The fried rice has flavor and general tso’s is decently spicy and not too sweet! The egg rolls are small but have good flavor. The site is easy to order on and the wait times are reasonable, mostly 10-15 minutes.“

“Carrabba’s was accommodating with allowing our family to celebrate the birthdays of our grandkids allowing us bringing cake and gifts. Our waitress was very attentive and pleasant. Everyone enjoyed their food. Good selection on menu. Our experience was very good.“

“Was there a few weeks ago on a fri night. I actually had a cockroach in my bread ( that I had to ask for ).... The lady mgr comes over & jumps back from the table, yells at the busser to get it off my table. OFFERS US NOTHING BUT AN I'M SORRY( I HAVE A BUG PHOBIA ) Then I called & got a mgr who was there from Crocker Park. Great guy offered to try to compensate us if we were willing to come back. “My two daughters, grand daughter and I went to DeJuan's on Saturday 4/27/24 for my birthday dinner. Our reservation was at 8pm. First time going there. We had a wonderful experience at this restaurant. The food was delicious, and the atmosphere was delightful. I had the shrimp scampi and daughters had salmon. This is definitely on our list of favorites. We had a pleasant surprise, we had to wait a little bit longer for our food due to other big parties (no big deal to us), however the management came to our booth and apologized for the slight delay and took care of the whole bill for the night. We did not have to pay a dime. WOW!. We have been to other restaurants but never received such pleasant service. On top of such wonderful gesture, I was given a signature glass as a birthday gift. KUDOS to Erica, Tracy and our server Navel (i hope i spelled it right). We thank you sincerely for making our day. We will definitely come back again.“

“Tried several options today and everything was delicious. We ordered Curry Chicken, Pepper Steak, Bar B Jerk Chicken, and Jerk Chicken. For the sides we had cabbage and rice/beans. The staff was friendly too. We will definitely be back to try the rest of the menu!“

“We went to the Wise Guys Lounge on a whim, and we were not disappointed. We got the French onion soup, duck wings, Shrimp Scampies, and Tuscan mussels. The service was great and the food was even better. We had a great experience here and we will be back for sure. Ps. The tiramisu is to die for.“

“After driving past this dining gem on S Main for years, wondering if we'd enjoy the place, we stopped in this past Saturday at around 4PM to get a late afternoon meal. We were seated almost immediately in a spotless booth with soft lighting, provided menus with an endless array of offerings, and asked for our beverage order. Suffice it to say we were impressed by the immediate service given to us by Felicia, and her ability to make us feel welcomed! The bleucheese burger we shared was perfect, French fries were very hot and crispy, and the house salad was accompanied by two house-made dressings, a creamy white French and a balsamic...both were outstanding, and the servings were enough to provide dipping sauces for the fries. We believe we have found the neighborhood tavern we've been seeking since moving to Akron in 2018! Sure, the burger prices were a bit high, but in keeping with the disastrous economic times. Super neighborhood spot for dining, libations, and tv viewing. And the friendly staff is the icing on the cake, actually on the incredibly sinfully deeelicious bread pudding!“

“Great mexican restaurant in Akron! We constantly stop in for drinks and bites to eat and are pleasantly surprised every time! The queso is absolutely delicious!! My go to margarita is the raspberry marg on the rocks! The strawberry is good too but sometimes too sweet for my taste! The workers are tentative and quick! It is family owned business and we have enjoyed getting to know every member! there is lots of seatings for large groups and they accommodate them well!“

Started with the Beer Cheese Dip app, Bourbon Flight and beer. Wife got Lemon Chicken w/Alfredo and Brussels. I got Mushroom Gnocchi's with Scallops, Brussels, and a side of Grilled Shrimp. Just really great fresh made stuff. They had AYCE Snow Crab legs also, I almost went for it, maybe next time. “Visited on a Saturday evening. First time there and our waitress Stephanie was amazing as she explained how to order the boil and seasoning and spice level. The result was perfect! I am also kinda new to sushi and she also recommended 2 perfect options. The place was clean, ambiance nice, parking convenient and price was in line with what i would expect. This will definitely be a stop when we are downtown Akron in the future. Oh and the drink selection was very good also if that is your thing.“

It is not somewhere we take our kids because they aren't into seafood and would get some basic fried food which isn't worth it in our opinion. The gems are the boils. We typically get the head off shrimp + lobster tail boils, my husband adds sausage to his. It costs around $36 each but is two meals for each of us. Hot tip, make some noodles, and turn your leftovers into a pasta dish with the amazing sauce/seasoning!It has not been very busy when we go, but the servers are a little absent.
