“Ok so we’ve dined at Old Scratch Troy location about 6 times since it’s opened. Waited a bit to give them time to really get in their groove. While I do recommend the place. Pizza is good, staff is nice (especially Amanda at the bar) and shareables are tasty. That said I would like to see the food’s taste be a little more consistent. My favorite dish is the fire roasted cauliflower but sadly it hasn’t been prepared the same way twice with the last two times it was barely seasoned at all once it was almost raw. Hopefully as training continues they will fix that issue.“

Thank you to John Loose for having us for David’s celebration of life tonight, your staff welcomed us and allowed us to take over a lot of the space. David would have loved knowing it was at his clients business. This is such a relaxed space for any event. I have been prior and enjoyed the food and drinks. “Sea Jax is a total winner! My husband and I had the best time there. We kicked things off with the clam chowder, so creamy and packed with flavor. Then, I went for the blackened salmon Caesar salad, which was just WOW. My husband opted for the blackened grouper sandwich, and he was in heaven. And let's not forget the beer—it was top-notch and really hit the spot. The vibe was so cozy and fun, we're already planning our next visit!“

“Originally from Buffalo NY, found it very difficult to find a pizza that even comes close to what I was used to. I've tried many pizzas across the Miami Valley and all I can say is that most were pretty bad, and a few ok but not much more. 2 places were halfway decent but those places went downhill. I finally tried Joe's Pizza last month and have to say, the Absolute Best in Miami Valley. It was the closest to Buffalo Style Pizza I ever had in Southwest Ohio. Told their Staff the same. I will definitely be going back there despite being a little drive from where I live. I would recommend Joe's Pizza to everyone, especially if you're looking for a quality pizza!!“

“Sueño is now easily our favorite Mexican restaurant in Dayton. The atmosphere is vibrant, with great energy and stylish decor. The service is impeccable, complete with complimentary valet parking! Their cocktails are a highlight, especially 'The Guy,' and the food is out of this world. We tried the chips and salsa, (Salsa del Día), Tacos de Cochinita, and the smoked chicken enchiladas — all were absolutely delicious. The smoked chicken enchiladas were so good that we had to order a second serving. I could eat their chips and salsa every day; the salsa, possibly a fermented pineapple and jalapeño blend, is one of the best I’ve ever tasted. If you're looking for upscale Mexican cuisine, Sueño will not disappoint!“

“This actually is The Best Mexican Restaurant in Dayton! While we have tried many establishments around the area, this place knows what they are doing in the kitchen. This is probably the only restaurant where the chimichanga I order actually came out crispie and very tasty. Their refried beans are hand made and so so good. While my wife was devouring her fajitas and a Diet Coke, I got my favorite Jarritos Mandarin to drink with my meal. We are very much looking forward to our next meal here!“

“Went for what I believe will be our first of many visits yesterday. This place is awesome! The decor is spooky eclectic, the vibe is great, the people were cool and so much fun to talk to, and the beers are phenomenal! I LOVED the seasonal stouts, especially the What the Pfeff. The food from Phat and Rich looked bomb, too; I was so sad we'd eaten prior to going. Oh well-guess that means we'll have to go back soon!“

“My girlfriend and i ate here for the first time and we loved it. She had shrimp linguini and she loved it. I had the risotto and it was creamy and flavorful. If they have green tomatoes as appetizers and you like tomatoes, please get this dish. Definitely would be back here again. A bit pricey but worth it.“

“We went to the corner kitchen for me and my wife’s wedding anniversary after I had a great brunch with my friend a couple months before, it was such a great experience. Alyssia made it especially special with how kind and genuine she was. She helped us understand the menu, she kept great conversation and everything she recommended was amazing! “I haven't been here but I watched the ramen challenge there on Molly Schuylers page and I hope y'all changed your rule about not being able to put ice in it to cool it down or letting them wait a couple minutes to let it cool even because that could be very dangerous to someone's body and could potentially mean trouble for your restaurant so I hope you modified your rules to make it safer during challenges. “The O’s Italian Sub Hot was $13, a side of fries was $3, and a tall Amber Bock was $4.25. The sub was loaded with an assortment of meats and cheese. It was delicious! The fries were twice fried with a slightly crisp outside and creamy inside, Yum! However, the music was a little too loud where we were sitting.“

“Walked in for an early dinner and they were able to sit me, my husband and a stroller without any reservations. Kudos for that! They have seating outside, great to take advantage of the great weather. The food was absolutely excellent with subtle flavors and quality ingredients. We had the Ceviche (spelled with a v!). It needed more white fish, but it was tasty. My husband had the "Tierra y Mar". The steak was good. The shrimp was good. The scallops were excellent! For desert we had the Lucuma Croustillant and it was amazing! Never had it before, so it was meat to try something new. 10/10. Even the coffee was good. Will be back.“

“The food was amazing. Service was great. I ordered the fried avocado sandwich and he didn’t hear me so I ended up getting the vegan blt and their house chips. I am meat free and this is the best food that I have ever had. My husband had the Jack fruit Reuben sandwich and said he felt like he was eating a real reuben. We are only in town for 3 days. And I will probably eat there 3 more nights. So outstanding.“

“Three of us dining on Saturday. They open at 4 and we arrived early. We waited in our car in the parking lot and watched several cars arrive early too. Ordered pierogi and stuffed mushroom appetizers. They had a special St Patrick's Day menu. We ordered Rueben chowder. Chowder was just okay. My stuffed cabbage came with mashed potatoes and I substituted sauerkraut for the vegetable. All very good. Also we ordered Warsaw Platter. Outstanding and a lot of food. Our server Emily was attentive and service was very good. I highly recommend this ethnic restaurant. Small restaurant with lots of charm“
