“Traveling from New Mexico back home to Virginia my girlfriend and I found Mclouds Cafe being tired of fast food and the thought of fast food. Walking inside the instant smells of the kitchen was amazing. Seeing they had meatloaf on the menu I had to try it, and I was not disappointed. If you are on a quest to find an amazing meatloaf this would be the place to find it.“
“The 3 chicken tender sandwich and onion rings were delicious! BUT lol. It's a train wreck trying to keep that sandwich together. The fried chicken sandwich before this one was as good but not so messy to eat. Great little diner, though. ?“
“Love this place food is exceptional especially for such a relaxed bar it's shockingly good and good pricing too. Definitely recommend trying the murrels burger and the mozzarella logs are insane and huge and Indian tacos are just num num num yummy!!“
“Great place for breakfast or brunch. Prices and the quality/quantity of food is good. We got eggs Benedict and veggies with eggs. This included pancakes as a side. It was a lot of food. Everything was cooked nicely and was very tasty. Waitress was professional and attentive throughout our breakfast. Inside the place has a nice relaxing atmosphere. We very much enjoyed having breakfast here.“
“In town for business and staying at The Grand Casino. Was hungry for breakfast and saw they had this small diner open in the morning time. The first day I got the All American, the second day the Breakfast Burrito, and the third day the Country Classic. All three days every entree I ordered was absolutely amazing. It was fresh, hot and had flavor. I was really blown away by the quality of the food, the friendly customer service and the unbeatable prices. I would for sure stay at this hotel & casino again due to the food from here being some of the best I've ever had at a hotel & casino.“
“I know Calico Joe's is more of a sports bar, but they have really good salads! We ate here recently and ordered the crispy chicken Cobb salad and the southwest salad with crispy chicken. Maybe it's the chicken that makes it so good; the salads come with a very generous portion of chicken. But it's also the ranch that really brings the salad together. My son also really likes the chicken sandwich. The service can be hit or miss, but on our recent visit, our waitress was very personable and attentive. This restaurant is a good place for groups because they usually have tables pushed together to accommodate larger parties.“
“Wife and I tried Curtis Watson because of the all you can eat fried catfish. We were not disappointed. Fish came out hot and flavorful. I could have eaten just the hot pinto beans (side for the catfish). If you want authentic small town diner vibe with good food; I will come here. The comfort food is good and the staff cares.“
