“This restaurant was great. The atmosphere was lovely. The food was great and I had a really nice time. I would absolutely return.Dietary restrictions: I went with my dad who is gluten free and they were able to give us options for him to eat. We ordered the whole meal gluten free so we could share and it was lots of food!“

“This is the most tasty take-out Indian food ever! Rekha’s Kitchen is at 1800 Dundas St E in Whitby & she only uses good quality ingredients! Her veggie Samos are sooo good & her home made red dipping sauce is fantastic. Rekha is soon opening another place (April) which will have her own menu of great recipes where you will be able to dine in. Her restaurant is called Truly Bangalore located at 1618 Dundas st east in Whitby“

“We order from here at least once a month. We loveeee all the curry paneers. The garlic and plain roti is freshly made and delicious! Veg biryani as well is so yummy. The food arrives piping hot in tin containers. The serving sizes are huge as well. Leftovers can make 2-3 meals. I can’t recommend this restaurant enough, and hope to dine in the near future. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️“

“After seeing some ads online we decided to visit and grab about $50 worth of food we chose the butter chicken poutine, mango Tango wings, and some bang bang barbecue Momo's it totaled 49.00 whithout tipThe butter chicken poutine was amazing it was exactly how we wanted it to take, the wings I wouldn't get mango Tango personally again I'm going to try a different flavor, and the momos were good flavor and texture, the feeling inside was beef it was the best part. We will return and ask for the tandoori Momo's instead“

“Our visit to Manja's Kitchen in Oshawa was truly a delightful experience. Driving all the way for our son's competition left us tired and cold, but stepping into this small yet charming eatery turned our mixed feelings around. We decided to try a variety of dishes, including ghee roast, ghee masala dosa, parotta and butter chicken combo, chicken khuta, and some refreshing drinks. The highlight of our visit was undoubtedly our server, Gayatri. Her warm welcome, infectious smile, and friendly demeanor made the entire dining experience extraordinary. Gayatri's presence added a beautiful touch to the cozy atmosphere, making us feel right at home.As we indulged in the feast, we couldn't help but marvel at the outstanding quality of the food. Each dish was a burst of flavors, freshly made and exceptionally delicious. It had been a while since we had something so yummy, and Manja's Kitchen surpassed our expectations.Despite its modest size, the restaurant offered ample seating, and we enjoyed our time there immensely. To our surprise, the bill for the feast for five people came to a reasonable $65, making the experience even more satisfying. In conclusion, Manja's Kitchen is a hidden gem that deserves to be discovered. The amazing food, welcoming atmosphere, and the outstanding service by Gayatri make it a must-visit for anyone in the area. We left with full hearts and satisfied taste buds, eager to return for another round of delightful dining“

“Entering Garthy Foods takeaway restaurant in Simcoe, I felt a surge of excitement. Here was a place offering a tantalizing fusion of healthy Sri Lankan and Indian cuisines. What stood out immediately was the restaurant's commitment to offering dishes that were both delicious and health-conscious. It was refreshing to see a menu that celebrated the rich heritage of these cuisines while prioritizing wholesome ingredients and balanced flavors. But what truly intrigued me were the dishes I had never encountered before. As a Canadian with a passion for exploring new culinary horizons, I was excited by the opportunity to try something truly unique. From exotic spices to innovative cooking techniques, Garthy Foods had me hooked from the moment I glanced at the menu. With each bite, I was transported to a world of culinary delight. The bold flavors and aromatic spices danced on my palate, leaving me craving more with every mouthful. Whether it was the fiery curries or the fragrant rice dishes, each plate was a testament to the skill and creativity of the chefs.Leaving Garthy Foods, I felt not just satisfied, but inspired. Inspired to continue exploring the rich tapestry of flavors that our world has to offer. And if you're someone who shares my passion for discovering new and exciting dishes, I wholeheartedly recommend giving Garthy Foods a try. Trust me, you won't be disappointed“

“I dream about the Saag Paneer. It's soooo delicious. I only wish I lived closer to go more frequently! Chana masala also never disappoints and is always a great staple. May seem pricy at first glance, but we always have leftovers and get multiple meals out of it, so it's well worth it to me! I love having such delicious gluten free, vegetarian options!“

“As a 'foodie' I try to enjoy delicious food in Durham region but I also have to venture to Toronto to get exceptional food sometimes. Not anymore...It's nice to know this hidden gem is right in my backyard.I absolutely loved the samosa chaat. It was rich and filling. With enough sauces for my liking. The butter chicken was extremely flavorful and I could tell it was made with real cream. It was thick and did not turn to a runny liquidy mess when it was reheated. This restaurant definitely has it all. Hakka Chinese & South Indian, Street Food, Chaat and sweets.I've never tried Gujiya or Jaleb. Being Holi it was a nice experience to try something new. I REALLY enjoyed the Gujiya which is like a dessert empanada with coconut inside. So yummyMy other half really enjoyed the Manchurian Chicken and Hyderabadi Chicken Dum Biryani. This was honestly the BEST Biryani I've had in Durham. Hands down. The chicken was so tender and the whole dish was flavorful and fresh. My other half stole all the Biryani from me ?The rose shake was also a 10/10. Highly recommend. I drank mine in way too quickly. It was so deliciousI definitely can't wait to come back and try some other dishes.“

“We decided to try this place after looking at great reviews. Food here were beyond our expectations. I would have given more than 5 starts for their dosas. We used to travel to Ajax or Scarborough to have dosa but now we are so glad to have this at a walking distance from our place. I had ordered ghee podi dosa and my husband had ordered podi masala dosa. The crisp level of both were perfect. I am tempted to try their shakes on my next visit. They looked so yum. The staff is very friendly and personally I loved the vibe. We are definitely going to be a regular to this place.“
