“My wife and I were driving home from a day trip and happened to drive through Dorchester Ontario. We were looking for a place to grab a bite. We weren’t looking for fast food or Tim Hortons, but in our route my wife spotted the “Fat Olive” restaurant. She recalled it from the “Local Flavours” booklet she had gotten at the Elmhurst Inn. We decided to give it a try. Upon entering the restaurant we were welcomed, seated and told that we were the first patrons for 2024. It was just 4 o’clock but we decided to have dinner early. The service was prompt and thorough. We ordered a Cesar Salad, Calamari, Margarita Flatbread and the Garlic Parmesan Loaf. Everything was great. Excellent flavour and presentation. Even though we had chosen mostly from the starters and salads section, there was more than enough food to satisfy us and we ended up taking some home. Even though we don’t get to Dorchester that often, if the opportunity arises again we would definitely visit this establishment again.”

“Went to the subway location and absolutely loved the service. The ladies there were so nice so accommodating with all of my requests and overall the restaurant is very clean, including the restroom. I recommend this subway location to anyone in the area or anybody passing by the city. 10/10!!!”

“Always fast friendly service with great food. I've pretty much tried every dish on the menu over my years here. My only comment/question is why the red chicken sauce is called sweet and sour, yet it tastes sort of like cherries. I've only ever had true sweet and sour sauce from 1 Chinese food restaurant that still operates now, same owner. It's not that the cherry is bad tasting it's just that its flavor is cherry, not sweet and sour.I highly recommend you try Peking out. You will not be disappointed!!!”

“I've been here several times over the years and this restaurant is consistently good. It's cozy and low-key with very affordable prices and delicious food. I got the gyro which was good, despite the meat being a little overcooked. I also had a side soup which had a surprising amount of black pepper in it which was fine for me, but a bit too much for my partner. I'd rather it was served with less salt and pepper and leave additional seasoning to the diners.

The staff were very friendly and the facilities are kept clean. Service was quick as well.”

Stopped in again in for breakfast and found a great place for reasonably priced meals. All meals are cooked to order, and friendly attentive staff delivers the food to your table with a smile.
I highly recommend the Belmont Diner for those looking for small town quality and atmosphere”

“I was blown away not only by the gorgeous detail put into the cookie designs, but also by Laurie’s professionalism and care as a business owner. She had accidentally dropped off our cookies at the wrong location, and she leaped into action to fix the problem immediately- despite her family gearing up to leave on holiday that very moment. She made things right, and was extremely apologetic and polite while we worked through the problem. Her cookies were delicious, and our guests were all impressed by the intricacies of her designs. 10/10 cookie designer. I will absolutely be using Laurie again in the future!”
