From the moment we walked in, Norah greeted us with the warmest smile and set the perfect vibe for the night. She was not only incredibly friendly and attentive but also seemed to anticipate what we needed before we even asked — refilling drinks, checking in at just the right moments, and making everyone at the table feel welcome.

“My family went to Jack Astor's today July 18 to celebrate my husbands birthday. There was a line up waiting for tables,, but we did not wait long to get one. We were seated in a comfortable booth for the 4 of us. We enjoyed the services from the person at the reception, up to the host escorting us to our table and most especially our server Tilda who was very courteous and very professional. She came by our table as frequent as possible to check if we were ok and if we need anything else. The food we ordered were excellent. We loved he Asian wanton Nachos and the calamari and all our mains plus dessert. Thank you Tilda for your spectacular service and for bringing other workmates to gather together to sing happy birthday to my husband. Very nice harmonious voices and this made my family and most especially my husband birthday meaningful. thank you,“

“Stepped into the Cozy Cue sports bar on Dixie Road to grab a quick beer. From outside it looks small but was surprised to see it is huge inside. Great ambience, the beer was wonderful and the chicken wings very tasty. Service is a little slow. Watched Canada win its match here so the memory is good.“

“Went for a wrestling event, I don’t think the server expected to accommodate that many people for a Saturday evening. The bartender did the best she could, scurrying to serve us rowdy fans while batting away impatient patrons asking for food ordered 20-30 prior, bless her kind heart. I wasn’t expecting much either, considering I ate prior to the event and just wanted a beer. The menu is…basic, in a word, but ended up ordering the 3 piece chicken strips with fries. Took 35 minutes, and almost gave up. But when the food came…my word was this good. Chicken fried crispiness but still tender to enjoy the natural juicy flavour with each bite. The fries were seasoned to compliment whatever they had going with the chicken, potato and deep fry ratio done where it still retains its toasty flavour 10 minutes all after the fact. 100% worth the wait. It’s been two weekends since this event and I’m still thinking about how good that order was. I dont know if they’ve taken down their Halloween decor yet but if you’re in the Bloor/Dundas West area and come across this bar, please give their food a try. And remember to tip the bartender, lord knows she deserves it :)“
