“Good portion of wings and fries (sweet chili). Definitely will be back on Mon/Tues with a deal. Pad thai sauce tastes good but not authentic thai food with a lack of vegetables on it. Goat rice is average with very thin slices of meat, but it is soft and cooked enough both of meat and potatoes. (Just wishing for more meat).“

“I stop here whenever I am craving a poutine. Not shy on the cheese curds and it’s always delicious. Sometimes there are lineups in the winter, but they take your order promptly. My go to spot in bowmanville for poutine. I have tried some of the other menus items and I have no complaints either.“

“Just placed an order at bistro238 of my favourites from this past Saturday brunch! This place truly is a hidden gem in Courtice! It was our first time for brunch and everything was delicious! Their quiche, their scones, their croissants, and this olive lemon cake - you know there’s a true pastry chef in the building when! The atmosphere is so cozy and they are beyond welcoming and nice. Chef Simon made the table since we were a walk in. He looks exactly like his picture btw. Highly recommend a reservation on weekends they get very busy. Everything was fresh tasting. Simple ingredients and the best quality. I can’t wait to try their dinner menu! I’m a foodie and so happy that my trips to Toronto for a good quiche and croissant fix are over. I was reluctant over the years out of fear that the wings wouldn't would live up to the hype but they most certainly do!A pound of "Apocalypse" wings with a side of "Forget about it" 100% did the trick and was absolutely delicious! “Went to A Stones Throw with some friends before a gig. My first time there. We were a party of 6. Glad we made a reservation because the place was packed. And I can see why. Great atmosphere. Despite being busy our server was friendly and attentive and got us everything we needed when we needed it. Pints were great and very reasonably priced. Our food came in a timely fashion. Everything tasted great. Portions were awesome for the price. I'll definitely be back.“

“Seniors Breakfast is a great deal!!! And prepared very well with good sized portions. Our server KIERRA was friendly, and provided excellent service. I was pleasantly surprised with a slice of delicious cheesecake re my Birthday. A very good experience overall and will continue to dine here. Highly recommend!! “Dropped in for lunch with my toddler and kindergartener. My kiddos were a bit hangry after our morning activities and so they were being a bit of a handful, but I was welcomed with big smiles and coloring books at the ready! Our server was delightful, and totally understood the challenge of keeping two young kids occupied so we didn't bother other patrons. We ordered a chicken caesar wrap and an order of chicken fingers and fries. The food came impossibly fast (like I wonder if they bumped my order because I was on borrowed time with my littles), but I noticed that they're able to turn out most meals just as quickly. The fingers are those old school, white meat deliciousness and the fries are the best chip truck quality, with all the beautiful crunchy bits. The wrap was super fresh and a generous portion. They use high quality ingredients and never waiver from their exceptional service. My kids settled in and cleaned their plates, which says a lot! We were able to get on our way making excellent time, but I will definitely return be returning, perhaps with my husband or a friend to spend a little more time enjoying myself. Thank you Olympia!Kid-friendliness: I was solo with my littles and they were outstanding!! I never waited, was brought full coloring books and a whole complement of crayons. They have lids for the kids drinks and an excellent kids menu with generous portions. I could have eaten off the kids menu! “On Friday I made a reservation for my kid’s hockey team for the following day for 25-30 people. Next day we called to say it’s actually 50…restaurant didn’t even flinch and hosted us no problem! The service was phenomenal, and the food was great. They had all of us served and pretty much wrapped up in an hour and a half!! 12/10 would recommend!!! Also: order the beet salad!“

“I came to this location today after having a very bad experience earlier at the Oshawa (Taunton rd & Harmony) location and what a difference. The moment we walked in we were greeted and seated and everything was great! Our server was Rebecca was awesome! She was friendly and served us well checked in a few times to make sure everything was good. The food was so good hot tasty and came out fast. We ate our entrees and had dessert in less than an hour. Awesome experience from the moment we entered to when we left. *note I shared our earlier experience with Rebecca just before we left. So the staff here is clearly genuine and professional. “went with my girls to play pool and have a couple of drinks to celebrate end of semester, SO affordable as a group to play pool for hours and about 8-10 tables, food is affordable and good for the price, our server forgot her name this sweet blonde woman who was running around non stop, brought us our drinks, made sure we were safe after apparently some drunk guys came in (we didn't even know they were in the bar, that's how fast it was taken care of). She was also so immensely sweet and attentive. We will 100% be coming back :)“

“Excellent place to eat before going to an event at the TCC arena. We called ahead to reserve a table and the employee on the phone was very helpful. They were able to give us a rough idea on food readiness so we didn't miss the start of our event at the TCC. When we arrived they saw us with small children and arranged for us to use a booth. The food was ready promptly and tasted delicious. The serving sizes were appropriate and our waitress was very knowledgeable about the menu.
