“Just had the most amazing shrimp tacos! Accidentally found this place while trying to find parking at the mall. We were greeted so nicely and gave us recommendations as well. The shrimp tacos were super flavourful served in a grilled corn tortilla and salad. We also ordered onion rings on the side which were amazing. Just the right amount of seasoning and not oily at all. It came with a spicy sauce. The really nice part is that the owner has colourful picnic tables set up and music playing from coliurful rocks which really set the vibe. He even brought our food to us! Talk about great service. 5 stars. Highly recommended. Can't wait to try other things on the menu!“

“I didn’t know what to expect prior to ordering. I can verify the food quality is 5 stars, along with the service, and the variety of choices. The shrimp fried rice was flavorful, chopsticks are not included or available (fyi). I’m not a fan of spicy foods, they have many options w/wo spice. I will definitely return to try more dishes.“

“Okay. Been to a lot of roti places in my day but, this has got to be the best yet. Have been to Lena's a few times now and have had, doubles, goat roti, jerk chicken, bake, and all different curries. This is home cooking, proper west Indian food. Flavour is spot on, portions are huge, and meat in the roti wrap is abundant. You eat and keep eating even when you're full, the food tastes so good you can't stop eating. Service is great, food is fantastic. So if you are looking for the real deal go to Lena's on financial drive.....and....welcome to west indies.“

Both the curry goat and the fried snapper lacked the depth of flavor and the robust spice profile I was hoping for. The dishes were well-presented, but they didn't quite hit the mark in terms of taste. There's clear potential here, and the ambiance and service were commendable. However, for my palate, it didn't fully deliver. I believe with some tweaks to the seasoning and perhaps a bolder use of spices, this place could really shine.“

Food is always fresh, whether we pre-order or drop in. it always taste the same, consistent for 20+years. “This is a terrific food truck! They have delicious options like jerk chicken and various roti options. I had the curried goat roti and loved it.They seem to often be stationed at the Halton Hills outlet mall, so if you are there, do drop in at the far eastern end of the mall for a delicious meal. Yes, there are lots of places to sit and eat close to this food truck.“

“The food was absolutely fantastic. I really loved it. We got a chicken sandwich and it was delicious. We also got fries and they were ok. Not the best fries I've ever had, but still serviceable. The restaurant itself is more a fast food style, and not a proper sit down restaurant which is great if you're grabbing a quick bite. “I enjoy eating at this restaurant. The customer was amazing! Especially since I was greeted at the door. My server was patient and nice! They provided different options for those that are vegetarian or vegan. I was pretty happy with amount of options I had. The presentation of the food was set up nice, like a nice fancy restaurant. I am hoping this restaurant continues to do great and open another location though.“
