“Stopped here with my wife to break up our drive back home from a wedding yesterday and was a great decision! The service was great and very helpful, especially having our eight-month old child with us. Smaller restaurant, but felt super cozy!“

“We were at the Keg to celebrate my fiances birthday with friends, and there was no disappointment with our total experience. It started off even before we were seated. I made a reservation online for four people, and at the last minute, we had a family member join us for dinner, so when we arrived, it was now seating for five. The hostesses were very pleasant and understanding. They made all efforts to make this right for me promptly. We only waited less then 10 minutes to be seated, which is very good I think considering it was a mistake on my end and it was Friday night, which I'm sure is a busy night usually. Once seated, we were promptly greeted by our waitress for the night, i think her name was Chloe. She was so friendly and energetic. She was very genuine in her desire to make our night a celebration and wonderful evening. Our drink orders were taken quickly and without delay arrived at our table along with waters for us all which was Chloes idea and we all appreciated the suggestion. Food orders were then placed, all food arrived in timely mannar with starters and apps arriving first and plenty of time to finish them, table cleared before entrees arrived. Our food looked great, and a couple of extra requests for sauce and Horseradish were filled immediately. Meals tasted excellent. After diner, a desert was offered as a birthday celebration from the Keg, and we all shared it at the table since we were all quite full after the large meal we all had. Overall, this was a great evening,I highly recommend the Keg Peterborough for dinner or a celebration for a special event.“

Warm wood details pair well with the cool drinks. Detailed menu — try something new and adventurous or have any classic on the menu made to perfection. “The tonic bar has karaoke everyday, except they are closed Mondays. They have private rooms available to rent by the hour, for private karaoke, so if you have some money there is no need to wait in line. But there is no cover charge and no minimum for the slow line, so broke people can go sing too. I have been there twice on a weekday night, and it was not busy at all. I was able to sing several songs in a row, and then take turns with just one or two other people, which was great compared to most karaoke venues where you might have to sing once in a rotation of 12 or more people. The hosts are very friendly and knowledgeable and the equipment is more than adequate.Parking: There is a municipal parking lot nearby but on the days when I have visited there has been lots of parking available on the street. I was able to park right in front of the door on my two most recent visits.“

“Amazing in-house smoked meat. I get the pulled pork sandwhich everytime. My partner gets the burger and says its his favourite burger hes ever had. Atomosphere and staff are very friendly and welcoming. Always nice having a drink on the patio with great food and friends.“

“I went to the ice house restaraunt today, it's an old house in a small town that offers 4 kinds of fish and chips, my partner and I went in not expecting much. But instead we were greated promptly, and welcomed by the smell of cinnamon and Christmas music. Our server, elizabeth, brought waters to the table and told us the nightly special, which included homemade soup! Great atmosphere, with pieces from local artists and charming fire place. We ordered a burger and a the nightly special of 1/4 chicken. Wow! Compliments to whoever cooked that, it was homemade and delicious. I will add that the place was also busy with what looked like a Christmas party at the time, and I only saw one server on shift. Very impressed with the service and attention to detail. The smells, the lights, the music, the kitchen staff laughing from the back, it felt like the it spot in this small town. Highly recommend!“

“Bartender is great, the waitress however subs non-premium alcohol for premium price > may not be her fault but definitely recommend going to the bar to get your drinks. Cheap pool tables, music is a bit dated> more so if you go before 9. Really nice smoking patio. Unattended glasses will be taken whether you're done or not. All and all a good night out. Would love if they would carry better rum.“

“there is one guard at social with beard is always being rude with everyone. Everytime he is not allowing one of the group to enter and creates trouble. Also talks very rudely. Something should be done. It’s done specially for Indian students.“
