“Tony was giving great suggestions on menu. His sincerely explained on the various choices of customers’ preference! His explanation is very genuine and helpful. My first time tasted the fried king mushroom: it was crunchy, yummy, not too heavy, not oily, simple and delicious. My son loves spicy, they have their house sauce which my son loves the most is for the chicken karaage! I wish I can taste the lobster ramen special for north York location; which was created by chef Yamamoto!!!! I am looking forward for it“
“This place has a very hearty bowl of ramen. Although on the pricier side of ramen pricing it is pretty tasty. The service is great and the restaurant is decorated simply with the menu on a screen. I would come back if my wallet had more money .“
“I was staying at the Delta hotel in Markham, Ontario and ordered a Shoyu sliced pork ramen via Uber eats from Ajisen Ramen. I ordered around 10:00pm and it was delivered in about 20 minutes, which was great. When I picked it up in the lobby and got back to my room, I noticed there was no utensils. I was pretty mad about this and called the restaurant and asked why they didn’t include utensils. They explained when you order via Uber eats, you need to state include utensils. So this issue was not the restaurants fault. Then I went to the front desk of the hotel and explained what happened and asked if they had utensils. They had some bamboo utensils and gave me a fork and spoon. If you take a look at the two pictures of the fork and spoon, you will see the spoon is flat, so you cannot eat soup with it. Apart from this mess with utensils, the ramen was really good. I ate all the noodles with the fork, but had to drink the ramen from the bowl, so it was not an enjoyable experience. I don’t have any complaints about the ramen and I’d order it again. However, I’d make sure to request utensils from whatever delivery service I was using. The price was very reasonable for $21 CAD“
“Excellent ramen place. Their spicy tantan is soo yummy ( although on a recent trip it was a bit too salty). The veg dish is excellent as well. Except for this one time, In general I have always been happy with this restaurant. Good service and good food.“
“I ordered the vegetarian shoyu ramen and I found it to be one of the best vegetarian Ramen options in scarborough. It's hard to find good vegetarian options when it comes to Ramen so I definitely recommend if you're looking for a affordable ramen option in the gta.“
“Quaint little place hidden in the corner of this strip mall. (The owner said that they've been opened here for 2 years already).I wasn't expecting much from this restaurant but the lunch that we ordered was surprisingly delicious! Their menu is quite limited but we had the pork bone ramen and spicy beef brisket on fried rice and both were very good! I'll definitely be back and will try the other stuff that's on their menu!“
“One of the NEW hidden gems for Japanese good eats in my hood. Issai Japanese Eatery is a takeout spot for ramen, donburi, snacks, and drinks. There are only 3+2 bar seating available for dine-in, but mainly for takeouts. We have been back a couple times, and we really enjoyed the experience. The food presentation looks amazing, and the friendly lady who works there spoke Cantonese :) Can't wait to visit again to try more items ^^ Tomato Curry Ramen w/ Teishoku Set // Spicy good, ramen was delicious, the set comes with pickled radish and 2pcs of inari sushi Housemade Gyoza // It was beautifully pan-seared, nice and plump, perfectly wrapped, and delicious! Issai Sesame Abura Soba // Served dry with a light sauce on the bottom, mix well before you eat... don't be like me, I waited too to eat it, and the noodle dried up lol. Housemade Siumai // Good portion and good flavour, though I'm not a huge fan of fatty pork, but to some people, the siumai may taste soft and juicy! Niku Udon // Loved the broth, comes with thinnly sliced beef, and the udon was nice and chewy :) Kitsune Udon // The broth was a little sweeter because of the sweet tofu skin, still enjoyable!“
“Underrated excellent authentic Japanese ramen. My family enjoyed the accuracy of the flavours in their cuisine. We loved their spicy pork ramen, takoyaki, karaage, and many other dishes. The owner and staff are extremely polite and lovely. This is a hidden gem in Scarborough, so if you want the tastiest ramen, give it a try; you'll be hooked.“
“Went for lunch around 1pm, there was no one in the restaurant except us. However, the waitress greeted us nicely and even told us we can sit at a bigger table. We ordered the bento boxes and they were AMAZING! For that price, the food was fresh and delicious! I definitely recommend anyone who wants Japanese cuisine in that area to give it a try!“
“We love our time together in this branch with our little family. They have a promo on Mon-Thurs like $38 for 2 ramen with Zangi! The server was kind enough to help our aunt and uncle to choose what would be best for them as they are already seniors. The place wasn’t crowded maybe because it was a weekday and we had our time to chitchat too.Dietary restrictions: As a suggestion they made the pork not spicy for the black tonkatsu as an option for our uncle. :))Parking: The restau is inside STC so the parking is wide and free!Kid-friendliness: They have kiddie meal!Wheelchair accessibility: It’s inside STC so this place is very accessible.“
“Smaller than the North York and downtown Toronto locations. There is an electronic waiting system. We didn't have to wait long to be seated. Service was also quick and we got our food quickly as well. Delicious, and I look forward to coming back again!“
“This ramen was pretty good, they had many different options and the broth was quite flavourful and yummy. The service was prompt and very quick! The place was very clean and overall the staff was friendly and accommodating. Would return to try different dishes.“
“I believe 味千 Ramen was among the first to introduce authentic Japanese ramen to Toronto, paving the way for many others in the scene today. While numerous options have emerged since then, it's still worth paying a visit to the original founder from time to time.“
“Food was delicious. I gave this a 4-star because I feel the price is too high for such little ingredients included. I got the Pork Spicy Garlic ramen - it was great, but I would have enjoyed it more if, let's say, a seasoned egg was included. For the price I paid, I don't think including something like an egg to this ramen is too much to ask for.“
