“I went in for lunch during the weekday mid-afternoon and was able to get a seat right away. Normally, you would have to sign up to be on the waitlist during their peak lunch/dinner hours. Parking lot wise, it can get busy but you'll eventually be able to find a spot if you're patient enough.I ordered the 'Black Garlic Tonkotsu' ramen (without the bok choy) and chicken karrage. The in-house made ramen noodles was perfectly cooked al dente and had a nice soft chewy texture. The broth was rich, flavourful, and creamy but unfortunately, the broth and marinade used for the pork was quite salty for me.The boiled egg was also slightly disappointing. It was just a regular plain egg unlike the marinated 'hot spring eggs' that you could get from Kinton Ramen, Sansotei Ramen or Ajisen Ramen. Other than that, the chicken karrage was delicious and had a nice sweet, tangy, and citrus like sauce to compliment it. Service was great; staff are friendly and food arrived within a reasonable time.“
“Dietary restrictions: The Tonkotsu black is where it is at. My wife got that and it was very tasty. I had the spicy Tantan and it was good but wish it was spicier. The servers were great and attentive. The location is really small and was very cold. This location had pork and vegetarian options but no chicken. The website doesn’t clearly mark which location has what options from the menu page. I realize now that the individual promo picture had location details.“
“I recently dined at Kinton Ramen Oakville and was thoroughly impressed with my experience. From the moment I walked in, the ambiance was inviting and energetic. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, ensuring that every aspect of my meal was enjoyable. As for the food, it was nothing short of exceptional. The ramen was perfectly cooked, with rich and flavorful broth, tender noodles, and fresh toppings that elevated each bite. I particularly enjoyed the variety of options available, catering to different tastes and dietary preferences. Overall, I would highly recommend Kinton Ramen Oakville to anyone looking for an authentic and satisfying ramen experience. Five stars all around!“
“I ordered delivery via DoorDash. I wasn’t expecting anything special but I was pleasantly surprised. The gyoza were really yummy and the sushi was so fresh and delicious. I’m already thinking about when I’ll be ordering again. So good!!!“
“So yummy! This is my first order from Ikki and I am so happy. Used to get my sushi from another restaurant which closed down so have been trying different sushi restaurants and I think I will choose Ikki from now on! Thank you for the great sushi and tempura shrimp!“
“This is the best value and quality neighbourhood sushi bar you can get! The service is always friendly, food is quick to come and take out never disappoints. I always order party trays for our gatherings and we’ve always had a great fresh sushi for each time.“
“Best ramen I’ve had in two world class cities now.Best in Toronto, best in New York, and it’s not even close.Go for the pork bone broth, it’s legitimately unmatched. Savoury, flavourful, filling, and good value for your money.I can’t imagine ramen even in Japan gets much better than this, but I guess I’ll have to find out.Friendly, and quick service, and the food comes out very fast too.“
“A bit pricy but the food was great. It came quickly, too. The design of the restaurant was awesome. Compact but offers a lot. Katsu, pokebowl, rice combo, even some Japanese ice cream sandwiches.Kid-friendliness: The menu items are kids friendly for me“
“Recent visit was amazing. It was a snowy night. The waitress welcomed us and guided us to choose a seat. We did and as soon as she was finished serving the customer, she came to take our order. It was quick with our order and the food was very delicious.“
“We tried their vegan Gyoza and spicy vegan ramen, both were excellent. Portion size was generous. They have a good menu for vegans and hoping that they expand it further.Vegetarian options: They have a good variety of vegan ramen and also an option for vegan Gyoza and tempura.“
