We were greeted with warm smiles and great service from the moment we walked in to the moment we left. I ordered the smokehouse BBQ bacon burger and wife ordered the Thai lettuce wraps with shrimp. Both meals were fantastic. Came out hot fresh with outstanding fries. Whenever we come back to Toronto we will definitely stop here again. Made the beginning of our vacation a wonderful experience!”

“⭐⭐⭐⭐ Food Was Excellent, But Service Needs Improvement

Last night, our group of 10 visited King Tandoori after hearing many great things about the food. I can honestly say the food lived up to the reputation. Everything we ordered was delicious, flavorful, fresh, and well-prepared. The kitchen deserves a lot of credit.

Unfortunately, the customer service did not match the quality of the food.

Throughout our visit, the owner stood behind the counter but never once came over to greet us, ask how we were doing, or check on how we were enjoying the meal. As someone who values hospitality, especially in a restaurant where relationships and repeat customers matter, this was disappointing.

The woman who took our order was polite, but there was very little warmth or engagement. A smile, a welcome, asking if it was our first visit, offering recommendations, or simply checking in during the meal would have made a huge difference. The interaction felt very transactional rather than hospitable.

What surprised me most was that even after our group left a generous tip, there wasn’t a simple “thank you” or acknowledgment.

The food was easily 5-star quality. The service, unfortunately, was not. With just a little more attention to customer experience and hospitality, King Tandoori could become truly exceptional.

We’ll likely return because the food was that good, but we hope the customer service improves and becomes as memorable as the cuisine.”

The owner Chaudhry saab has made significant improvements in regards to the quality and quantity of the fish served, the dining experience and the price of the food. The food was delicious, definitely reccomend to try out the pomfret fish curry with naan with family.

“Happened upon this stire because I really didnt want to go to the subway next door. Saw doubles and thought it wont be as good as the ones I've had back home.

Surpised the heck out of me...the price was super reasonable and they had a buy one get one regular doubles free. Ended up with 4 doubles for $10 (plus tax) - goat, chicken and two chick peas (regular). Served for breakfast and lunch and I was still full for dinner.

Will be back tomorrow.

“Harmanjot & Simran offered great service overall - Courteous, prompt and timely. Our food benchmarks are very high. We ordered two Thali Veg meals with Phulka rotis and tried all veg curries. Phulkas with ghee was melting in our mouth, the aunty who makes it is an expert. The curries were not too rich, oily or creamy but homely & nice. The only downside was the slightly uncooked basmati rice (certainly not Al dente), that’s why the 4* otherwise 5* for overall food quality. Aside, we ordered separate Phulka rotis and kofta curry. Sweet Gulab jamun was good. Rasmalai was okay. Tea was handmade and okay, not machine Tea. Best place for people yearning for homely North Indian food.”

“I had been on the lookout for good parathas for the past couple of months and finally found exactly what I was craving at Paratha Point. Simply amazing!

I tried the Aloo Paratha and Gobi Paratha, and both were made fresh to order. The parathas were perfectly cooked, flavorful, and tasted just like authentic homemade ones. You can really tell the ingredients are fresh and the preparation is done with care.

The coffee is excellent, with a wide variety of options, and the croissants are always fresh, flaky, and delicious. Located in downtown Mississauga, the café stands out with its sleek, modern, and minimalist design. The staff are very friendly, and there’s an excellent selection of sandwiches, salads, and desserts. I would definitely visit again!”

“We tried Pepper Fry Indian Restaurant today and had a great experience.
We ordered the Mix Mutton Mandi, Apricot Delight, and the Black Pepper Fish Fry (highly recommended). Everything was so yummy and definitely worth trying! The flavors were rich and authentic, and the Black Pepper Fish Fry was the standout dish for us.
The service was excellent as well. A special thanks to Bineetha for the warm and attentive service, which made our visit even more pleasant.
