“Absolutely phenomenal experience at Kibo Sushi! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warm hospitality and seated promptly. The ambiance was inviting and very nice. Each dish was beautifully presented and tasted incredibly fresh. The sushi was a true standout, with a perfect balance of textures and flavors in every bite. The staff was attentive and knowledgeable, offering great recommendations and ensuring we had everything we needed throughout our meal. Overall, Kibo Sushi exceeded all expectations, and I can't wait to return for another unforgettable dining experience.“
“The only reason its 4 stars is because of how the sushi rolls were. They just kept falling apart in the plate not fully rolled to be able to pick it up therefore had to use fork sometimes lol. Nonetheless tho the restaurant is nice and i liked it a lot as first visit.“
“I come here for sashimi and Uni (Sea Urchin or one might say,the butter of the Sea ?) sushi. I love that they always have a wide selection available, as Uni is pretty hard to find here in Mississauga! The fish is slightly chilled, which I love ? There is no fishy taste.“
“The food is delicious. The vegetable tempura appetizer is really well fried, it contains 2 pcs of pumpkin, 1 each of broccoli and zucchini, and 2 pcs of sweet potato. The pumpkin has its sweet part almost melted in the tempura skin. This restaurant also carries reduced sodium soy sauce and they are available upon request as they are kept normally in the fridge.“
“Can never recommend this place enough!! Wonderful atmosphere, very attentive staff, topped with fresh and delicious sushi. We have been going there without a reservation for a couple of times now, and we got accommodated at all times. This round we ordered the GO train roll, avocado crunch roll and dynamite roll- everything was perfect. Just look at how beautifully presented and well-portioned the dishes are. The prices are also reasonable for the quality of food you are getting. Must try in the GTA.“
“The tasting box for two is drool worthy. The sesame mayo sauce and torched sushi is to die for. I cannot emphasize enough how tasty this combo with sashimi and maki is.The restaurant doesnt do table service, so you grab your stuff and make yourself at home. It is a nice building and bright, clean around. This location is such a pain to park and get to though as it is in the condos near the busy mall area and busy intersections. Would be good to have more temporary (15 min pickup) spots around for ease.“
“This location is a hidden gem! Its seating area is very small so we usually do take out for dinner! Call ahead for your order and pick up ?.This visit we ate in for lunch and it was so good! Service and food quality is great and we have recommended this place to many friends who are happy too!Thank you Kibo Sushi! ??“
“After our first visit, this became my partners and I favourite sushi spot! We’ve been coming here at least twice a month and every time we are please with not only the service and atmosphere but the food as well. We absolutely love getting the Crazy Tuna and Pink Lady. We like to try other sushi options as well and in our honest opinion everything we’ve tasted so far is delicious and fresh! This seems like a family owned business so we love to help out small businesses!“
“I happened to be looking for sushi on a holiday when everything else was closed. This spot was open so I called in and ordered. My order was ready within 45 minutes and was super efficient to pick up upon arrival. Note, this place is for take out only given its size.I ordered the salmon lovers meal and it was unbelievably delicious. The freshest sushi I've ever had in the GTA. Generous sizes and portions for the amount paid. The presentation was great as well. Can't wait to return!“
“Loved the salmon poke bowl with the orange sauce. The size of it is pretty big and for that price I was impressed with the quality. recommendedParking: Located in a mall-like plaza. Might struggle a bit to find parking close to the restaurant“
“Been there twice for business lunch and AYCE sushi dinner. Sushi is better than Thai food for me personally. Garlic shrimp and steak skewers distributed by the guy going around the hall are phenomenal. Once you meet him during the AYCE, don’t be hesitated to get some!“
“Me and my coworker decided to get some lunch and came across this place and I was really surprised by their selection. I ended up getting their 12 Pc sushi & sashimi set and it was really good! They also have a 10% off deal for takeout which was great for us. Definitely a great place for takeout options and catering as well!“
“I've been going to Corner since it first opened, and Corner always goes above and beyond expectations. They consistently offer amazing value: delicious food at good prices. Highlights include: hot food is actually served hot and not warm so you know it's fresh, salmon sashimi is beautifully fatty and thick-cut, and hand rolls and maki rolls have a moderate amount of rice. The thai tea is my favourite drink to get here and it comes in a huge mug with a salty milk foam on top. 10/10 experiences.“
“Delicious food, and great service. It really is dinner and a show. I opted for the strip loin with salmon. My wife did the filet mignon and lobster. Both were delicious. At the price point, it's difficult to beat. I would definitely come back.“
“I visited Kibo Sushi for a New Year’s Eve feast and I was not disappointed. The sushi was fresh, delicious, and beautifully presented. They had a great variety of rolls, nigiri, sashimi, and other dishes to choose from. I especially enjoyed the spicy salmon roll, the unagi nigiri, and the teriyaki salmon rolls. The portions were generous and the prices were reasonable for the quality and quantity of food. The service was fast and friendly, and they had a convenient grab and go option for takeout. I would definitely recommend Kibo Sushi to anyone looking for a satisfying and delicious Japanese meal. It was a great way to end the year and welcome the new one. ?“
“What hearty and healthy portions for the price! Such unique items like a sushi burrito and sushi tacos. We had such a fabulous time here and were full for hours! Great staff too that were super patient with us and they kept everything so clean. Great vegan options!“
“This is my go to spot whenever I'm craving sushi. It's delicious and you get a good portion for the price. The people that own the restaurant are always so friendly and accommodating. Sometimes I order at the restaurant as it is their original price. (Ordering via food apps tend to cost a bit more because they take a cut). Most of the time I'll order via UberEats for delivery. But yesterday I decided to order through UberEats and pick it up myself, unfortunately it was closed upon arrival due to an error within the app, after speaking to the owner and apologizing about it he decided to give a complimentary meal the next day.He didn't have to do that as I was just going to come back the next day and reorder.I've been going here back when it was called Kaoi Sushi although I'm not sure if it's the same owners, staff and just did a renovation. The service here continues to be amazing. As for the atmosphere it's located in a food court shared with other restaurants so it's more of a take-out restaurant but you're more than welcome to find a place to sit if there are any free spots and enjoy your meal.“
“This is my go-to sushi place in for dining in Meadowvale area because of their consistently great food and great atmosphere. I was initially skeptical due to the location, but am so happy to have found this place! While I've only come here for dine-in, I constantly see a lot of take out orders, and with how good their sushi is, I'm not surprised.Wheelchair accessibility: Not wheelchair accessible. Front entrance is accessed via stairs.“
“We ordered the Sushi Sashimi Combo and the Sushi Sashimi Bento Combo off the Lunch Special menu. At $21 each, they are a great value. Super fresh and so much food that you won't leave there feeling hungry.I've been there in the past for dinner with some friends and that is how we found out about this place. Dinner was equally as good. You'll enjoy yourself as well.Parking: Large strip-mall parking lot“
“This is a hidden gem. The veggie sushi was great, the miso was good, price is right, the service was lovely. Will be returning.Vegetarian options: Got the deep fried yam tempura rolls as well as the veggie California roll. Did not disapoint“
“I have been going to SP for years.Delicious sushi each and every time, at a reasonable price. Rice is perfect, ratio of rice:fish too. Lots of variety, and friendly, professional family run business. Take out only. Call ahead and pick up in 20 minutes. This place is a gem!“
“My favourite sushi spot and it’s right in my neighborhood. Food is fresh and I can’t speak highly enough of this place. The owners are so kind. My favourite is their gyoza soup and Boston dragon roll. Try it. You won’t be disappointed ?“
“This was my first time trying this place and I normally don't takeout sushi but I am so thankful I tried this place. The sushi is absolutely incredible, (just a small note, that I typically order salmon) and my review is on salmon. I loved it so much, I took another tray to a party and it disappeared in minutes. Reviews were positive. I highly recommend this place. Also pay by cash to get a discount.“
“The food is good and worth the price. The only reason I gave it a 4 out of 5 overall is because the decor is outdated and needs updating apart from that you would be happy with the service and food quality.Parking: A good amount of parking with two exits which helps the flow of cars going in and out.“
“Me and my sister have gone for lunch here many times and we enjoy the food every time. The proportions are perfect for lunch and when you order two plates of sushi, an appetizer, and two drinks, it is about $30, so it’s a great price.Vegetarian options: My sister does not like fish and she loved all of the vegetable options!“
“Hinote has stood the test of time. I have been coming here for at least 10 years and the quality of food never disappoints. In fact I still think it's the best sushi in mississauga. The service, however, is just ok. Nevere the less its a 5 star for “
“Zen Gardens is one of the best vegetarian restaurants in the area. I’ve been dining here for many years and every experience has been peaceful, relaxing, and satisfying. Great atmosphere overall. Prices have definitely gone up post-pandemic, but that seems to be the case everywhere. The menu has also changed, but we were informed that this is the case because of Covid. The hot and sour soup + jasmine tea is delicious, and I love the crispy soy fritters, fried bean curd, and fried noodle dishes. We also purchased multiple boxes of the pineapple cake and were super impressed.“
“Nice eatery with friendly and efficient staff. Good nice variety of tasty food and drinks. Great variety of dishes in “all you can eat” menu, with quick service. Excellent place for lovers of Japanese food in halal serving. Price is also quite reasonable.“
“Sushi4U exceeded my expectations with their Philadelphia Maki and Dynamite Roll. The Philadelphia Maki was the best I've ever tasted, with a perfect blend of fresh and tasteful ingredients. The care and quality put into each bite were evident, making me an instant fan. The Dynamite Roll was equally impressive, delivering a delightful explosion of flavors. The restaurant is a hidden gem in Mississauga, boasting an amazing, authentic, and cozy atmosphere. I'm eager to return and highly recommend it to sushi lovers. My only wish is that they offered an all-you-can-eat option, as that would be the cherry on top of this already fantastic dining experience.“
“Kaze is a sister chain of Kamen Ramen. It's around 3-5 minute drive from Square One mall, a 2-3 min walk from Kamen, and it's located behind Kamen. We found Kaze through a free roll offer being advertised at Kamen. Since Kamen’s wait list was long, we decided to try Kaze, and we didn't regret it.Kaze’s atmosphere is warm and welcoming. It’s a dine-in restaurant with high chair seating. They asked us to wait and sit for the free roll, and offered us water. The server welcomed us with a smile and attended to us very quickly, ensured that we had what we needed. We ended up ordering trays and a couple of rolls, in which they offered miso soups on the house to warm us up. There’s also complimentary tea they offered to all the guests, which was a plus since it was pretty cold outside. They ensured that we understood all the ingredients in the dishes. For the Kamen Ramen offer, you are offered one of three (iirc) basic rolls like Spicy Salmon Roll, California Roll, etc. We picked the Spicy Salmon because I seem to like that one best anyway. It was so delicious that we ended up ordering another roll. The rest of the rolls and trays were also delicious, nicely garnished with green onions and these decorative little white balls. The portions were standard but the taste was great and the designs and style were innovative. We also went with the chef’s choice rolls which were also interesting.A fun little info: if you also want to have ramen as well as sushi, you’re able to order anything from the Kamen menu to be brought to Kaze. That’s something we would’ve liked to know before ordering anything because we would absolutely love to have ramen with our sushi! So if they’re running out of space at Kamen, Kaze would be a good alternative spot. It's so close to our home so we might make this our go to spot and will be coming back for sure!Parking: The restaurant is located in a plaza with plenty of free parking. You just might have to do a bit of a walk but it's not bad considering every place is close to each other.“
