“The food is delicious. The vegetable tempura appetizer is really well fried, it contains 2 pcs of pumpkin, 1 each of broccoli and zucchini, and 2 pcs of sweet potato. The pumpkin has its sweet part almost melted in the tempura skin.This restaurant also carries reduced sodium soy sauce and they are available upon request as they are kept normally in the fridge.“

They have an excellent selection of sushis and their miso soup is to die for. Yummiest takoyaki and their hot stone rice bowls are really tasty. Their portions are good too for the pricing. We’ve been coming here at least twice a month and every time we are please with not only the service and atmosphere but the food as well. We absolutely love getting the Crazy Tuna and Pink Lady. “It was my wife b-day and we initially made a reservation. However, we showed up with a balloon and cake. They saw we had decoration so put us in a larger private area. Also, they put our cake in the fridge and when they brought it to the table, it had a candle and it was beautifully served. Service was amazing. The food was worth of a king. My order was ready within 45 minutes and was super efficient to pick up upon arrival. Note, this place is for take out only given its size.I ordered the salmon lovers meal and it was unbelievably delicious. The freshest sushi I've ever had in the GTA. Generous sizes and portions for the amount paid. The presentation was great as well. Can't wait to return!“

With six of us in attendance, including the birthday girl, we were treated to a spectacular show by the chef. His humor and entertaining skills had us all laughing, especially when he skillfully shot broccoli into our mouths – some of us catching it on the first try, while others needed a second shot. The highlight of the night was when the chef crafted an impressive onion volcano, complete with flames that mesmerized us all. It made for excellent Instagram content! However, while we understand the extra cost for specialized dietary requirements, we were puzzled by the $10 charge for my parents' salmon orders. The sashimi with salmon and red snapper was incredibly fresh and tasty, as were the California roll and dynamite roll. The curries and steaks, cooked and served in Japanese-Thai style, surpassed any Indian or Brazilian restaurant I've previously visited. “This is my go to spot whenever I'm craving sushi. It's delicious and you get a good portion for the price.The people that own the restaurant are always so friendly and accommodating. Sometimes I order at the restaurant as it is their original price. (Ordering via food apps tend to cost a bit more because they take a cut). Most of the time I'll order via UberEats for delivery. But yesterday I decided to order through UberEats and pick it up myself, unfortunately it was closed upon arrival due to an error within the app, after speaking to the owner and apologizing about it he decided to give a complimentary meal the next day.He didn't have to do that as I was just going to come back the next day and reorder.I've been going here back when it was called Kaoi Sushi although I'm not sure if it's the same owners, staff and just did a renovation.The service here continues to be amazing.As for the atmosphere it's located in a food court shared with other restaurants so it's more of a take-out restaurant but you're more than welcome to find a place to sit if there are any free spots and enjoy your meal.“
