“Nice location. Very easy to find. Amazing service. The price seems rather high, but considering its an all you can eat (2 hours max) with mostly meat menu I think its rather good. Make sure to order in bulk each time the server comes, at least 4-6 orders, the portions are rather small. I was able to try almost everything on the menu in my first time. Its a nice change of pace to cook your own food at the table; it gives you time to chat with your date while letting your food cook.My only issue about this place is that they do not accept reservation unless you are a group of 6 or more. If you want you can put yourself on a waitlist using the Yelp app, but still need to wait when you arrive. I figure they do not want to lose money when some folks reserves and dont show up.In total for two, it cost us 115$ including tax/tip and no beverage.“

We started with chicken wings and deep fried pickles as our appetizers and the Kentucky Derby Platter for our main and we would definitely recommend both. You can’t go wrong with either so better to opt for some variety. “FINALLY had a chance to try Lola’s Kitchen today. We are a family of 4 with the youngest being a picky eater. We had Chicken Adobo, Chicken Sisig, BBQ Beef Ribs and Beef Tapa. We LOVED every dish, extremely tasty. So tasty, we finished our plates (incl. the picky one… he said “Mmmmm”), and unfortunately didn’t leave enough room for dessert, but we will definitely be back. The jack fruit burger reminds me of a pulled pork sandwich it had great flavour profile and the portions are perfect. The menu isn’t very big, but I was surprised to see a couple vegetarian options. The atmosphere is very nice. We were sat in the back room which allowed for the noise to be broken up a little bit and gave a sense of privacy. They also stuck around and did our late night snack from the truck. We got a lot of great feedback from our guests that they thought the food was great and that they had more than enough food portions-wise. The timing of our service went really well, and we also liked how the food was presented on the tables. Tyler was hands down the fastest vendor to respond to our emails and questions, too, and accommodated our requested changes with no issues and a great deal of flexibility. It could've been spicier but was delicious as is in any case.“

“Flavours were fantastic and the service was warm and inviting (contrary to some reviews we read prior to going)and the only draw back was the place looks like it could use a little tlc. My family took me there for my birthday dinner (2A 2C under 6) and we walked in to a bouquet of mouthwatering smells and the courteous and friendly staff directed us to choose what ever table we wanted. The restaurant to be honest, looked like it needed a polish and the floor could use a good mopping. That was the ONLY negative to our experience there. After talking to the mgr who walked me through the menu and gave lots of great information and suggestions we placed our order. He was even kind enought to wish me a happy birthday and brought me a juice as a little something! Please understand that time relaxing and talking while waiting for the food is part of the African restaurant experience so don't be expecting toget it on your table in 5 min. If you want that go to McD's! When the food came (2 combo platters) it was beautifully plated (I wish I thought to take pics!) and with a bowl of delicious jolof rice. FYI Ghanian jolof is different in the flavour and "sauciness" and this Nigerian jolof was fantastic of its own right being light, fluffy, and with a beautiful smoky note. The chicken and goat were amazing! Tender, juicy, and bursting with flavour I only wish we had ordered more! The beef was a little overcooked comparitively. I will say that there is a bit of heat to the dish (a tiny little bit too much for the kids even though they didn't stop eating! hahaha) The take out and delivery that was coming and going throughout our meal was nonstop which just goes to tell you how good the food is. Overall if you decide to check this place out you won't be dissapointed. The food, service, and friendliness of staff are amazing! We'll be back!“
