“I recently tried the poutine! It was absolutely delicious ? The gravy was silky and savory, and I appreciated that it wasn't too thick. The fries were perfectly crunchy, fried to perfection. “Though they only have two vegetarian options (the cauliflower asada fries and the cauliflower torta), both are absolutely delicious! The fries here are absolute perfection! Though it's around $20 for a sandwich, the portion is very generous.I would highly recommend making a reservation, especially for weekend evenings. The restaurant has very limited seating, especially for groups larger than 2.“

“Tried Falafel on Wheels for the first time today. Before my visit here, I thought I truly enjoyed falafels … well, this food truck made me ADORE them even more!!! First of all, Falafel on Wheels definitely takes pride in their AMAZING customer service. The owner/employee today was there to answer our questions and even allow us to have a falafel sampler, how generous and kind!!! The prices were SO reasonable ! “In a word, this place is spectacular!!! The chai is perfectly prepared, and the sandwiches are some of the tastiest I have ever had, anywhere. *Anywhere*. Not only that, the portions are substantial, the prices reasonable, and the staff is lovely. Great food, great prices, great service. The trifecta, and that is increasingly hard to find in Ottawa. “We wish we had more reasons to hire Merry Dairy’s ice cream truck after hiring them to serve ice cream at our wedding. The truck added such a fun element to the evening, and guests loved the surprise and opportunity to stretch their legs while grabbing their dessert. Merry Dairy was exceptional and super easy to work with. They were flexible, reliable, and the staff serving ice cream was super friendly and seemed genuinely happy to be there. They had a vegan option, too, which especially our guests with dietary restrictions really appreciated. Their ice cream is delicious! Please do yourselves a favour and eat Merry Dairy ice cream.“

“This is my favourite chip truck! I’ve been coming here for over 18 years and it has consistently been 10/10 quality service and delicious food. The owner is so nice, very friendly, gives great portions and is always happy to help. The poutine is my favourite, the fries to cheese to gravy ratio is perfect! Every bite has a great mix of each down to the last one. The Pogos are good, crispy and tasty! The combos offer great value! There’s a great variety of options on the menu! I cannot say enough wonderful things about this truck!“
“We went to the Embrun location yesterday with friends and my gosh. These are delicious burgers! Beats The Works 100% I have to be honest, when we saw another burger joint go up in Embrun we over looked it. But our friends kept talking to us about it and we all went. BEST burgers in town!! “BEST BURGER AWARD! We have come here a few times now this summer and every time we are BLOWN AWAY by the burgers. The size, flavour and juiciness of them--so delicious! We love making burgers at home and I swear my husband moonlights as a Chef but we both can't stop commenting on how amazing Fry2Go makes their burgers.We love bringing our toddlers here too, they can run around on the grassy area and sit at the picnic benches to eat. “T&D Chips is a food truck that has been around for well over a decade. In my youth, I loved chip wagons, but as I got older, they lost their appeal. I got to experience T&D Chips for the first time recently by happenstance. I only ate a few fries, but they were good typical chip wagon fries. My husband and I were walking around Centretown and getting hungry. We planned to have a snack at King's Wrap, but they do this unusual thing where they close between 3:30pm and 5pm and guess what time it was? Yes, during the time they are closed. So my backup plan was Yi Ryo. The wait for my food at Yi Ryo was apparently too long for my hangry husband who was waiting outside, so he marched on down to Lisgar and Bank Streets and grabbed some fries at T&D Chips. So when I stepped out of Yi Ryo, I saw my husband standing on the street, voraciously eating fries out of a paper bag, lol. Being a good Yelper, I stopped him for a picture of the fries and sampled some, haha. So he told me they were $5 and the food truck only accepts cash. They were hot and crispy and slightly sweet. I liked that they weren't mealy. He told me it was a medium, but the bag looked pretty small to me. However, given places like Clocktower charge $12 for an order of fries (yup, for real, I couldn't believe it and further couldn't believe that my husband actually bought them once, and they weren't even good, but that's another story) I guess $5 is a deal these days. And the fries at T&D chips were actually good. Anyway that's my story about T&D Chips, lol.“
“For a tiny takeaway spot, this place is pretty great. We've enjoyed everything we've tried from Pinn-To and will definitely continue to order from here. Fast preparation, tasty food, nice range of spice (love me some food with kick), good sized portions. Giving four stars only because they are a small, independent operation, and as a result sometimes close at odd times with little notice. At least once we have planned to order food during their posted business hours, but upon calling to order got a voice-mail indicating they closed early that day. Disappointing because we love the food and had been looking forward to it.“

“i love this place so much. it used to be really close to where i lived but they sadly had to move their location. but they had the best tacos and even better service. while you're waiting for you food they give you samples of food to try. and once i didn't have my card with me and i asked them if i could e-transfer and they were really nice about it. other than the tacos, the chicken tortilla soup has probably got to be my one of my favourites. even when they would give me a sample id still order it cause it's that good. also they have halal options and not just veg, which i love. it's a really good take out place. my only thing is i wish they were open longer and if they had more comfortable seating cause then it wouldn't just be for take out, especially in the summer.“

They are one of few spots that actually have great poutine in Ottawa that gets me going back every so often.Fries are always crispy and often even ones that have been covered in gravy. The curds are high quality and don’t melt immediately.As others have noted, they don’t heavily salt their poutine fries or gravy, which I actually prefer over extremely salty gravy. The gravy is nice and thick with a rich gooey consistency that prevents fries from immediately becoming soggy. I often ask for extra gravy layered in for a small extra charge, which lets me have abundant gravy for every bite of fry.“
