excellent coffee and pastries...finally a quality bakery/cafe...thank you
I have just gone gluten-free due to health reasons, and have been researching pastries I can still eat.
Today, I bought 2 mini almond orange cakes at BB -- gluten- and dairy-free -- the only regularly available gluten-free pastries/cakes they sell.
They were absolutely delicious. I would eat them again in a heartbeat. FANTASTIC.

BB Cafe is a cozy coffee shop with friendly staff and a clean, pretty atmosphere. Customers are very satisfied with the fresh, delicious, and beautifully prepared products. The cakes are some of the best in Toronto, especially the chocolate one, which is moist, tasty, and never dry. The vanilla cake is also very good. The Whipped Cream Puffs taste good, and the Napoleons Custard is okay and not too sweet. The staff are polite, look clean and nice, and clearly like their job. Prices are a little high compared to other bakeries, but customers pay for the quality. One customer ordered Halva for a funeral ceremony but was disappointed, noting no saffron and a lack of deep brown color. However, BB Cafe management contacted the customer with a sincere apology and offered a refund or gift card. The customer was touched by the honesty and care for customer service. Another customer appreciated being allowed to work while waiting for a flight. Overall, BB Cafe is highly recommended for good taste and nice service.
