“Better than your average sushi place. Service is good proportions are good food is good.Staff are nice and pleasant. Food comes quickly and drink refills are prompt. The only downside to this place is the price however good food and good service aren't cheap.“
“Tried it out as I heard good things about it.Flavours were good but the rolls were very loose and fell apart quickly. Ordered the green dragon roll and the jumbo spider roll. The rolls were smaller than I expected as these are special rolls. The tempura like item on top of the jumbo spider roll seemed overfried and hollow inside without much content. For the price, it is quite expensive for what is offered compared to other restaurants around the GTA, but they do have good flavours. The environment was also quite dark. Nice quiet place to have a meal but a bit of interior renovation would definitely help up the dining atmosphere.Overall, would come back again but too expensive for top choice.“
“Incredible restaurant. Always clean. Food is great. I always get the Chicken Teriyaki on rice and it never disappoints. The spicy mayo sauce really tops everything off. When I get the sushi, it tastes fresh and delicious. Make sure to give thanks to Wendy she is the GOAT.“
“Highly recommended. The sashimi was fresh. Salmon sushi pizza is definitely better than anything available in Durham Region. Spicy tuna rolls and Alaska rolls were excellent.I’ve tried most of the sushi spots in the area and often find that the restaurants cut corners. Fish that has been pushed past its best before date. Plain sushi pizza where the rice has been overcooked in old oil. All places that I’ve regretted getting dinner at. Sakura was the opposite of all that. Will be going back.“
“Food is very good , service is ol but not so friendly , we had a hair in one of the sushi plates and when we pointed to the lady ,she was not happy and she called the manger , who came kind of angry , pulled the hair out and kept arguing that it is not one of his staff, he even pulled out and put it on a piece of tissue trying to prove his point.“
