“I love their bread, they bake it in house and it's delicious! Their coffee is incredible as well. The atmosphere is nice, it's very open. But it's not my favorite, just because it's not cozy. That's just my personal preference, though. There's no nook or comfy chair/couch to get cozy. They do have a fun little kids' corner, though, which is a brilliant idea. There's a little table and chairs and some shelves with toys and coloring.“

“Their new location is Martindale Road and Grapeview in St. Catharines. Stellar customer service!! I was driving home tonight around 7:30 pm. I wanted to stop and get their business hours and found the mom & daughter packing up to go home. Asking if I wanted something, the daughter graciously opened the front door for me to quickly grab 3 items, pay, and leave. It was truly heartwarming and so very appreciated! The quality was wonderful.“

“ABSOLUTE ROCK STARS! Recently purchased some meat to make my first batch of sausage with. Nick went above and beyond and educated me on the different cuts of meats, what percentages to use and tips and tricks and made sure I got the best of the best. When I picked up everything Joe treated me like family and was very helpful and friendly and also gave me some more education. It's awesome to see two people take so much pride and passion in what they do and treating customers like family. Also, on my way into the store I stopped by the bakery department (like the elf I am LOL) and spoke with the bakery person who was amazing (sorry, didnt get her name, older lady with glasses-very friendly). She educated me on ALL of the sweets and baked goods, how much pride/passion they take in their in house baking goods and also the specialty items from Germany and Italy etc. WOW! Thanks to these three ROCKSTARS you have gained a customer for life (I live in Wainfleet but WORTH the drive!!) Thank you Commisso's for having amazing passionate staff!“

“So far, I have bought their marble/rye bread, scones, croissant, hungarian salami and ready made meals including: roast beef in pudding cups, cabbage rolls, cookies and tabouli salad. All excellent quality at reasonable prices. No complaints. Despite posting that they are looking for hired help, their customer service is excellent! I am new to the area and highly recommend them. Frozen selection looks excellent. I have yet to try other items including their pizzas, rolls, pastries and cakes. Even if you are on a budget, discounted items are still fresh and high quality compared to larger grocery stores.“

I recently requested an individually wrapped sugar cookie order in a custom shape that Beth didn't even have, but she made it happen and the results were gorgeous! They have lots of pastries available, including different flavoured butter tarts, biscuits, crumbles etc. I found the butter tarts very sweet and a bit overpowering. A cup of coffee to go with it is recommended, which they also sell. Interesting decor inside and in a lovely little town“

The cupcakes were for school and the teachers all would have wanted a 2nd one!The cake pops were for the actual birthday party and again, should have ordered more because all the kids wanted a 2nd or 3rd one ?!Now we ordered scones to bring to my hometown in Montreal for the Christmas morning brunch!“

“Small storefront - awesome bread, soft buns, and treats! Super staff. Wish they were closer to me as I'd buy everything I could here. They seem to use simple ingredients as nobody has any issues eating the food. Great taste. You have to get there early if you want buns or is often sold out. Great prices!“
