I had called with a question, simply asking what the daily vegetable was before I placed my order through Skip the Dish. I wanted to make sure the sode was not say roasted red pepper and beans or something. During our briefing talk, I explained I had a food allergy to peppers. He said he would make sure there were no peppers. Much to my delight, the food was absolutely amazing, and I had no issues with anything. What particularly caught me off guard, was that Colin had essentially taken time aside to ensure the safety of my meal, and inquired about all ingredients to the kitchen. He found that there were pepper flakes in the coleslaw side, so he actually attached a had written note with the coleslaw aside, amd substitutions available that accommodated my allergy. I have yet to ever see a restaurant worker take such initiative, let alone learning that this was the GM whom I'm sure had many other things to do that evening. I was absolutely blown away. So Colin, if you ever see this, you made my night, and you've solidified a loyal family of clients to Kelseys, solely because of you. Thank you”

“My husband and I had an absolutely spectacular anniversary dinner! We were seated in a less busy area of the dining room as requested and promptly were brought two glasses of sparkling wine-complementary! That was so thoughtful! We had never been to this restaurant as we live in the states and only visit TBay at times. We ordered two pizzas for apps-really knowing it would reheat well later-which it did not disappoint. Our mains were spot on and delicious and dessert was also grand. Such a pleasure to have the experience! Our server, Ewan, was a true gem!”

One thing that touched me deeply was how Marcy served the kids’ table first, without us even asking. It was such a thoughtful gesture that meant the world to us. Julia, our bartender/server, was also incredible... kind, funny and always attentive. She made sure everyone was happy. Marcy offered to take photos and shared them right away... something we didn’t realize we’d treasure so much until later. Thanks to her, we have beautiful memories of our dinner when everyone’s phones were away. Everything was flawless from start to finish. We had an absolutely wonderful experience at The Nook Italian Restaurant! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warmth and charm. The food was nothing short of exceptional — true, authentic Italian flavors that transported us straight to Italy.
We started with the burrata served with cherry tomatoes and pesto — fresh, creamy, and perfectly balanced. For our mains, the pasta dishes truly shined. My husband loved his dish featuring artichokes, Italian sausage, and their house-made pesto sauce — a rich and flavorful combination done just right. I had the rigatoni arrabbiata, and it was incredible — the perfect amount of spice with a beautifully fresh tomato sauce.
Every bite was a delight, and to top it all off, our server Vince made the experience even better. Attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable, he made us feel right at home.

“This evening, a cute little lady asked me to leave a review, so here it is! I don’t know her name, but the adorable moles on her face make her cute. I stop by this Tim Hortons almost every day — honestly, one of the best in the city with great staff.
The morning drive-thru can be rushed and rude. They don’t listen to orders properly, and I suspect the staff are under pressure from the management for timing. The food and drinks in the mornings can sometimes be below average, so I’m giving only 4 stars.
Evenings are a completely different experience. I see the evening manager vinot almost every day, and I like him a lot. Even when it’s busy, he greets me with a smile and by my name, which really makes me feel acknowledged and welcome. Last Friday, he made my Supreme Stack and, knowing I like cold brew, suggested I try the Pumpkin Spice Cold Brew, which this cute little lady made perfectly. Both were fresh and beautifully presented.
If you want friendly service, a clean store, and a homey feel, visit this store in the evenings — the staff are welcoming, professional, and always happy.”

It’s not the business’s fault, however it is clear they’re losing a significant amount of customers and revenue because of parking.”

Sometimes I’ll go alone or with my kids they usually get a sandwich or something else. My youngest gets thé chocolate milk and a cookie I love the woman that’s always on the till during the day with the glasses I’m always giving her a tip because she’s always so nice. If I’m with my pug she always asks if she can have a treat and if I’m alone she always is like you’re alone today. Super friendly staff person. Wish I knew her name.”

“We came here for our anniversary, and it was good! We have never been before since we’re not from the area, and were greeted with lots of smiles. We were given a piece of paper for an online ordering system, we thought it was an AYCE restaurant but still wanted to try it despite it being a la carte. We later found out there is an option for AYCE, it would have been nice to know but that’s also our fault for not asking. It was quite expensive for a la carte, but the atmosphere and friendliness makes up for it. Would recommend to anyone wanting sushi!”

“I’m so grateful for this place, so I’ve been travelling for 5 days and just wanted a good pizza. I showed up on a Monday didn’t see that they were closed for Mondays, however when I pulled in I thought something was weird… they looked closed, so I called the number in the web page. I can’t express how grateful I am , she made me a pizza even though they were closed. It was amazing pizza, great sauce, thin crust and the perfection for cheese to pepperoni. She was so kind, I mean she could’ve said sorry I. Any help you, however now I will recommend Lappe Mountain pizza for anyone travelling though, ( not Mondays😁).

“My husband and I had an absolutely spectacular anniversary dinner! We were seated in a less busy area of the dining room as requested and promptly were brought two glasses of sparkling wine-complementary! That was so thoughtful! We had never been to this restaurant as we live in the states and only visit TBay at times. We ordered two pizzas for apps-really knowing it would reheat well later-which it did not disappoint. Our mains were spot on and delicious and dessert was also grand. Such a pleasure to have the experience! Our server, Ewan, was a true gem!”
