I like finding good espresso bars around Toronto. I had this one in my list for quite some time. Their cortado was up par.However, I was attracted to the glazed cinnamon rolls that they had on the counter They call them Morning Buns. OMG! That bun was delightful to say the least.
I absolutely love the service here at Darkhorse. I was visiting Canada from the US and looking for a local coffee spot and I am so glad I found this place. Every pastry that was ordered was fresh, hot and delicious. I love the aesthetics of the place and how everything was neatly placed. inside and outside seating with available and it smelled amazing.

Got 2 drinks of "whatcha - ma - call it" very chill workers that didn't know the name of our 2 drinks. All good ? I forgot the name as well as soon as I ordered it. Tasted fine. Excellent coconut cookie and kale scone was okay. Very laid back cafe/bakery. Friend recommended this place for the sourdough bread ? but we passed on it since we didn't want to carry a loaf of bread around downtown.
