“What a great experience! The price and quality of food is good. Their broths were incredible, had the house special spicy broth and their chicken pepper broth. So flavourful! The service was incredible, they were friendly and attentive. Their sauces were on point, not the cheap stuff. I also really appreciated the details like having plenty of napkins available for customers to take as they need. Will definitely return!“
“Excellent quality and choices for foodSauce counter with fried rice and chickenThe staff is humble and has lots of patienceI felt a bit pricy but worth the food servedThe place is small and but crowed on Saturday nightThey should implement the iPad ordering than ordering through the serversI will surely go back to this place“
“Food was pretty good, we got some wagyu as well and that was excellent. The service was a bit of a mess though. The girl who served us talked really fast and was giving off the feeling of being impatient while taking the order but walked around the restaurant really slowly lol she also didn't go into any detail about how things work. As an example, when she brought us water she still hadn't brought us cups which normally wouldn't be a big deal but then she brought 3 cups over then took one away to bring to another table even though there was 3 of us sitting at the table ? it was almost so bad that it was more funny then anything else. The sauce station was also never stocked properly. Missing ingredients every time we went over. Highly recommend figuring out a better system for that for better customer experience.“
“This Xiaobiandan Hotpot Restaurant is reasonably priced and the food are fresh, with lots of choices and varieties of vegetables and meat. We enjoyed the New Zealand lamb slices that comes with the ‘All You Can Eat’!! Also included were fresh beef slices, green onion pancakes, sesame balls, fried buns, beef tongue (which we didn’t try) together with fresh fruits and Chinese sweet desserts too. The staffs were very friendly and nice. We managed to ask for an English menu and ordered what we wanted (pork soup & spicy soup base). The spicy soup base is very, very spicy so we asked for less spicy and we enjoyed the meal very much. The place is clean with lovely wall art and decorations. Highly recommended for those who want to try some spicy hotpot in Toronto Chinatown! Cheers!!“
“My kids and I love this place. The staff is always very nice and helpful, the food is delicious with lots of options for everyone. We have been many times and will continue to come here.Vegetarian options: They do have vegetarian friendly options, a variety of noodles and vegetables available with vegetable soup bases.Parking: Parking is okay. Sometimes it's a little hard to get a close spot.Kid-friendliness: They've always been very accommodating for my children and friendly.“
“We went today at 7:00 pmOur second visit this week to Haru Shabu Shabu was an absolute delight, offering an exceptional shabu shabu dining experience.Despite being responsible for cooking our own food, the staff at Haru Shabu Shabu remained attentive and accommodating throughout our meal. Their constant check-ins ensured that we had everything we needed, from the freshest ingredients to the flavorful broths and condiments. The quality of the ingredients provided for the shabu shabu was outstanding. Each item, from the thinly sliced meats to the crisp vegetables, was of the highest quality, allowing us to create a delicious and satisfying meal tailored to our preferences.A special mention must be made for Ms. Sarah and the rest of the staff, whose warmth and hospitality truly enhanced our dining experience. Their willingness to assist us and ensure our comfort made us feel welcome and appreciated. We look forward to returning for more delightful meals in the future and hope creme brulee will be back.“
“A really great store! ! ! The store clerks are super friendly! Friends who are trying to lose weight but are hungry like me! Fu Niu is really a great choice! The beef is cooked according to the small label and it is very tender! But my heart falls in love with the slippery cow! Beef tendon is the best when cooked soft and glutinous! After all the meat is cooked, finally cook the noodles, put the meat slices, meatballs, celery, noodles in a bowl and top with the cooked beef broth, and you have a bowl of beef soup noodles! The first bowl of soup before shabu-shabu is a light, original soup, and the last bowl of soup powder is the finishing touch Love it! ! ❤️“
“Had best Malatang here! Ingredients were so fresh, and soup was perfectly seasoned with right amt of spice (for me ?). I ordered medium spice lvl and it was really good! I liked that soup wasn't too greasy with good amt of saltiness. If you love malatang go hereee!+its in dt Chinatown so parking will be difficult.+pick up ingredients first and bring up to the front and tell the server what soup base you want. If you can't tolerate spice, there's tomato soup base.“
“Taste: 4.5/5 Good variety of broths and ingredients. The broths we had: mala spicy and tomato. Both were pretty flavourful. Good price. Vibe: 3.5/5 The resto can accommodate about 50 people. For large groups (10 or more) you can reserve a private room. (Better book 1 week ahead.) Service: 4/5 Mostly self-served but the servers were nice.“
“my visit to this Chinese hot pot restaurant was an unforgettable culinary adventure. From the captivating ambiance and mouthwatering flavors to the impeccable service and communal dining experience, every element came together flawlessly. I wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant to anyone seeking a remarkable and authentic taste of Chinese hot pot.“
“Made new fly friends (Jeff, Bob, Martha, Billy). Didn’t take half an hour, only took 7 minutes. Atmosphere was nice and cozy as cook took a nice long and peaceful nap. Journey to the washroom was adventurous, as I learned to be grateful for the little things. Patricia was very welcoming and she can count change very well. Got 25 dimes and 1 nickel in change. Didn’t get diarrhea yet, but will update if I do.“
“I visit The Legendary "Chine" at least once a month with my buddy Dennis. It's one of my favorite hot pot restaurants in Toronto because the staff is great and the food is plentiful - it's all-you-can-eat! What more could you ask for? So, come sit by the window, do some people watching, and enjoy the shrimp!“
“This is my second visit and I like it because the portions are large and the staff are friendly every time! The atmosphere is very pretty and there are a lot of delicious menu items, so I think I will visit again ha_ha I hope you prosper The fried pork bone is especially deliciousㅜ.ㅜ…“
“It is my first time going there with my family of 4. We order the grill and hotpot. The broths are so good, the portion size is great! I have to change my reservation twice and they are very accommodating. The only downfall is that we waited at the front for about 10 minutes before anyone greeted us. I definitely recommend. Be sure to make reservation ahead of time and I would not order all the food at once.“
