“Very quick, friendly, and extremely delicious. We had a meal for two which came with two bowls of ramen, an order of gyoza, and two drinks. A lot of food for the price. If you’re in a bit of a rush for lunch but still want high quality food, come here.“
“We ordered the Tonkatsu Ramen Black and Shoyu Ramen, along with some gyoza, and I must say, they were absolutely delicious! Each bite was a burst of flavor, and the noodles were perfectly cooked. The broth was rich and flavorful, exactly how I like it. The Tonkatsu Ramen Black had just the right amount of depth and richness, while the Shoyu Ramen had a delightful balance of savory and subtle sweetness. Both dishes exceeded my expectations, and I'll definitely be coming back for more. The gyoza were also a hit, with a crispy exterior and juicy filling that complemented the ramen perfectly. The service was also prompt and friendly, adding to the overall wonderful experience. Highly recommend!“
“Fantastic food and service, and excellent value. The chef's counter dining experience was a generous 12 course meal, and the chef added a few more on top of that. It is one of best tasting menus I've ever had. Filipino fusion cuisine was very well executed. This may be my new favourite restaurant in Toronto.“
“Visited on a Wednesday afternoon after the rush lunch hours because we are in town for a concert and are very happy with our choice. We picked the wagyu beef udon and the curry katsu udon and both are super delicious. Both served hot, it is ideal for the chilly+rainy day we visited.Service is great and the deco made you feel like one just travelled to Japan for a short trip.If I must say something that the place can improve on, it would be the chairs they chose for the seaters along the wall. whole having an arm made it comfortable, it is not really meant for chubbier people like myself. When all three tables are occupied (which it were at the tike we visited), it is almost impossible to get out of the seat without bugging/touching the customer behind you. This will be on our can visit again list!“
“I was elated to find this place! My Nainai repatriated from Indonesia to China and some of these dishes here tasted exactly like the ones she used to make for me when I was little. I am sooooooooo happy that these dishes brought back my childhood memory!“
“We've ordered twice through UberEats and both times the food has been absolutely delicious. This time, we got the black pepper beef, roasted duck, and the cumin lamb (again). The meat is so tender, juicy, and flavourful. We made steamed rice at home and paired it with these dishes and it was perfect. Portions here are plentiful, which sets it apart from other restaurants that are cutting back. This has become one of our favourite restaurants in Toronto. Hoping to eat there in person one day!“
“Every staff member was very friendly and efficient. I got a warm welcome the second I stepped in. I ordered a chicken noodle soup which was very nice. The portion size shocked me a little. I ordered a regular but what I got was huge. I thought it was a mistake for a second. I enjoyed the broth. The price was also very reasonable. I will be returning to try other dishes!“
“Let’s get this out of the way first, I’m no stranger to a bowl of wonton soup. I enjoyed six pieces of beautifully constructed wonton in a delightful soup. The meat was cooked perfectly and the wontons themselves were quite sizeable. Amazing soup would highly recommend.“
“We went with a large family group for a birthday celebration and from the moment of contacting the restaurant to make the reservation, Allan, one of the owners, was so helpful and welcoming, helping us think of ways to make the celebration more special. His son Brandon took really good care of us on the night of the party (Allan and Chef Sasi were in Thailand) and the food was outstanding! They make all of the regular Thai dishes with a special flare and they have so many other, less traditional dishes that are superb. The golden pumpkin squash soup and the stir fried basil eggplant were so rich and flavourful and the mango salad was perfect! We will definitely be back for more celebrations! Thanks for everything Allan!“
“I went here for dinner with a friend, and it was a great little spot on Baldwin to have a warm bowl of noodles and soup. A great spot to eat solo as well as the booths give you enough privacy. There is also a space in the table to put your bag and jacket!I ordered the following:• pork bone soup with slow cooked garlic pork shoulder• crispy potato fries• beef skewersOverall, the food was great. Definitely come here on an empty stomach as the soup can fill you up quickly. The flavours were excellent! The atmosphere was cozy and warm. The lighting made me feel very comfortable and at home.“
“One of my close friends who lived in Toronto recommended this place to me. I decided to stop by and try. It wasn’t disappointed. The best Thai foods I have since I moved from Thailand. Ended up the owners are my aunt’s friends from back home... small world... lol I’d recommend this place to everyone... not because I know them... but because their foods taste just liked HOME.“
“New fav spot in Leslieville area! Walking into the restaurant the atmosphere was immaculate. Beautiful decorations, good vibes with the music playing and loved every bite of my Islamic noodles. The owner Wendy is super friendly and the service is fast. Got our foods within 5-10 minutes. Forgot to take a photo of the foods because we were quick to dive in after smelling the food?. Definitely coming back again!Vegetarian options: Has an entire section dedicated to vegetarian options!Dietary restrictions: Has an entire section dedicated to vegetarian options!Kid-friendliness: Very friendly staffs! Seating are well spaced outWheelchair accessibility: Flat flooring throughout“
“My favourite Thai restaurant in Toronto, food is always fresh and flavourful! Every menu item is delicious (yes I have tried them all) but I especially recommended the Bolan Pad Thai and Panang Curry Beef.Great cozy place for a date or dinner with family.“
“Really well priced Thai food with excellent flavours and nice presentation. Tom yum was really good with a nice kick without being overly spicy. Chicken wings were also surprisingly good and really nicely seasoned. They do offer various levels of spice, and my friend mentioned that Thai spicy is a really good level for someone for someone who can handle heat.“
“Very good restaurant, friendly operator, heart warming environment, great food. Helped when we were ordering, great recommendation, avoided waste. Love it, will be back again!Kid-friendliness: Offered a free drink for my nine year old, she loved it!“
“Good food open late and cool presentation and pretty good value for money... I'd recommend... But don't go for the desserts I guess... Mango sticky rice was NOT GOOD... It's not traditional but I wasn't expecting that either but the good dish was still not good... Too sweet and way too hot and it felt microwaved... Mangoes were burning hot and sour too... Sooo maybe not that... Other things... Good“
“Sansotei Ramen provided a decent lunch experience during my visit with my boss. While I typically don't gravitate towards noodle dishes, I do enjoy sampling ramen on occasion. Opting for the Miso Black variety with a side of Zangi (Fried Chicken), I found the overall meal to be satisfactory, albeit lacking in standout elements. The broth at Sansotei Ramen boasted rich flavors, adding depth to the dish. However, it didn't quite leave a lasting impression, falling into the category of a standard ramen noodle offering. The Chashu, however, stood out as the highlight of the meal, impressing with its tender and flavorful texture. As for the Zangi, it failed to make a significant impact. While I appreciate a well-prepared fried chicken, this particular rendition didn't offer anything particularly noteworthy. That said, it served its purpose as a decent snack to enjoy alongside the ramen.Overall, Sansotei Ramen proved to be a convenient option for a quick lunch, offering efficient service and a satisfactory meal. While it may not have blown me away with its culinary prowess, it provided a solid option for a fast and filling midday meal.“
“One of my favorite ramen spots in the city. Haven't been failed yet on any if the items.BIG TIP: If you're coming on the busy nights at the end of the week then book a place in line ahead of time. I've on more than one occasion waited about an hour to get in with my girlfriend.“
“We visited for lunch after going to the AGO as it’s almost right across the street. This place really hits the spot. I love how hot the soup is! I do wish that they had a ginseng chicken soup option though! Would recommend on a cold day. Yum.“
“Very popular lunch spot in this area so I decided to give it a try. Reviews are all about the spicy beef noodle dishes so of course I went with something else. :).I tried the pork on rice dish, which comes with a side of veggies and a healthy dash of BBQ sauce. I found the pork a tiny bit dry but the BBQ sauce came through here.Overall still an excellent lunch option that fills you up. I will definitely be returning to try the other dishes.“
“My favourite hand pulled noodle place in the downtown core (ive tried alot of them). I like the taste, and the local/homey feel of the restaurant personally. The staff are a little innatentive, and dont refill my glass of water at all (which is very small) unless i flag them down. And tables are also a little cramped. To be honest, if youre looking for a place to have a fine dining experience, or a place to impress friends this is not the right spot at all. However, If youre looking for a quiet local joint to have some noodles in peace, this place is better than most. Also portions are good and prices are fair.“
“It definitely worth the hype! We tried the beef hot udon and crab hot udon. The udon quality was very good, fresh, chewy, soft. The broth for each udon is different, both were very delicious. I will definitely come back to try more! Service was prompt and friendly. Heads up, Check out their Yelp page for virtual wait list to save time ;)“
“the noodles were hand made in the restaurant! you can see the chef kneading and tossing it. the portion was massive for a great price and great tasting noodles and soup! the atmosphere was very authentic:) would definitely recommend coming here for a bowl!“
“Food is really good but portion wise is on the smaller end which makes it pricier as you would want to order additional appetizers or soup so expect 40-50$ a person before tips for a normal meal. However everything is expensive nowadays in Toronto so still a good “
“My boyfriend and I were strolling Queen Street West area on a Saturday afternoon. For dinner, we decided to pick a place that looked cozy. As we were walking, we saw people inside having warm bowls of ramen, so we picked this place to have dinner. As soon as we entered, we were greeted by friendly faces and high pitched hello! Our waiter for this evening was a friendly young man who took us to a seat across from the open-concept kitchen. He brought us hot glasses of water (as per our request) and suggested their popular items to try. The decor was modern and calming. The mix of brown, green, black, and red added interest to a few places (e.g. by the entrance, the kitchen) yet a relaxing feeling. I enjoyed seeing the mix of artificial plants and wood panels to create a serene place. For appetizer, we ordered Takoyaki and Chicken Kaarage. For the main, we both picked Spicy Tan Tan Ramen (seasoned ground chicken, baby bak choy, chilli pepper, chilli threads, and chilli flakes). Also, my boyfriend ordered a Japanese mango soda. The appetizers tasted great- Takoyaki were hot and fresh and the Chicken Kaarage were also hot and succulent. The ramen was also delicious- hot and spicy to warm us up! The portion size was very generous. We enjoyed the Japanese mango soda- it was lightly sweet and refreshing. Throughout the evening, our waiter checked-in on us to make sure that we had everything we needed. He was attentive and friendly, and we appreciated his service. Delicious food and attentive service in a relaxed place. You can't go wrong!“
“Amazing hand pulled noodles, delicious broth and great service! Had the braised beef, and highly recommend trying the Flat wide noodle option. They are soooo good. Wish I could get these back in PEI. Looking forward to another visit soon to TO for some more Mogouyan.??“
“Mogouyan Hand Pulled Noodles, located south of Bloor and Yonge, offers generous portion sizes and narrow seating space. Compared to the Dundas and Bay location, it was half the size, smaller and had a cozier atmosphere. The service was prompt and consistent food quality compared to other locations! We went for dinner time and noticed they had several 2-person tables available but were able to combine with 4-person tables. The regular-sized bowls are already large, and you can customize the spice levels for specific menu dishes. The side dishes, like the slightly sour and spicy Potato Salad, are fairly standard for this type of Chinese pulled noodle cuisine. The braised beef noodle soup was delicious with the spicy level 1, the Shredded Potato Salad was very refreshing. At another location, we had the Bean Jelly with House Special Sauce which was well seasoned. A regular portion can easily serve 1.5 people, while the large size easily serves 2 people. They accept credit cards and have a portable machine available to bring to your table. All pulled noodles are hand-made and custom ordered. Also, they commonly get requested a sharing bowl due to the size and offer scissors to divide portions easier.“
“A wonderful noodle place showcasing food from a lesser known area of China. The choice of noodles mix between chewy to udon like and are unlike what you’d get elsewhere. The chili chicken and beef dishes are all excellent as is the potatoes use dishes. If you’re not used to spicy food, do be a bit careful and ask for mild.“
“Located near the west side exit of Spadina Station, Vietnam Lovely Noodle offers a warm, quick and satisfying bowl of noodle soup! The restaurant has a lot of coat racks along the walls and offers tables with bench seating format. Their noodle soup portions were decent. When we went, the restaurant closed at 11pm which was great to know for a quick pitstop from the TTC subway line in the evening. There were a lot of options on the menu. Their 'pho' lacks cilantro and the soup base is a bit generic. It was still tasty for their version of pho and provided bean sprouts. However, the small size bowl of soup is surprisingly filling and still delicious! The staff are attentive and accommodating. Plus, they accept credit cards and bring the machine to you to pay the bill. Do note, that they only take debit/cash under $25 and they have WiFi in the restaurant.“
“My family and I used to go here all the time, they have new owners now but they’ve kept the delicious flavours and authenticity alive. The Banh Cuon Dac Biet with the fried shrimp cupcake is so good, made so fresh. The Bun Mang Viet (bamboo and duck soup) is incredible. The sauce it comes with to dip the duck is full of flavour. One of my fave viet spots in Toronto.“
“I live the Vegan Shoyu Reman, the soup broth was good and full of umami, i will rate it the second best ramen in Canada after Ramen Danbo in Vancouver, the vegan gyoza was doing okay just not the best, i cant tell whats the stuffing inside, it was crispy but not texture can be improved. The waiter is not friendly when i want to use the washroom before seated, he said it is only for customer but he didnt ask whether i am going to order here, his judgmental attitude make my evaluation deduced 2 stars on the services.Overall is good and i will definitely come visit again when next time i visiting Toronto.“
