I love to support local stores and I’ve been to Mabel’s many times over the years and the staff are always friendly, but lately I’ve become disappointed with the food quality and insane price hikes. 6 hot cross buns for $21.99 and they had a weird gasoline type taste to them. Come on guys…look at the competition who are similar to you like Cobbs. They priced 6 at $10.99. That is HALF of what you are charging and theirs were tastier too. I was in the area and wanted to check this place out. But I have to talk about Audrey, the worker that served us. She truly heightened the experience. She provided a friendly atmosphere and was just great to talk too!! We got an almond croissant and it was delicious!! I highly recommend this location and thank you again Audrey for just being a lovely person.
