I started coming here because of the butter tarts. I stayed for the backyard patio, then I found out it was dog friendly and became a regular. Dogs are welcome inside and on the patio. The owner is a big dog lover and also a hip hop artist who has impeccable taste in music. No random cafe musak here. Coffees are great and there is a well-curated selection of craft beer and wine. Stopped by here after a Candlelight show at Paradise Theatre and ordered the hot chocolate. It was nice and warm and not too sweet, and I also appreciated the latte art! It's a bit of a smaller cafe but had comfortable seating, and also sold coffee beans and vintage clothing. There was only one person working but service was still good. I'd definitely come back here if I'm in the area to try some of their pastries!

Now & Later has everything I'm looking for in a great cafe. The atmosphere and decor is chique yet relaxing, the service is efficient, and the menu items are top-tier. I'm not a coffee drinker, but my partner thoroughly enjoyed her pumpkin spice latte. I ordered a bagel bomb, and it made for an incredible savoury snack.
