Lunch plans with colleagues hit a snag when the spot we intended to visit was packed, so we headed to libretto as our plan b. Around 12:20pm on a Wednesday it was about 3/4 capacity and we decided to eat outdoors. We were in a hurry by now, so we all ordered the special. Had a great meal here, due to the wonderful pizzas and fantastic staff, who could not have been more helpful (including charging our phone, helping with change for the tram and generally being great fun). Ok the decor (plastic flowers and general state of the toilets) could improve, but the food and service were top quality and very reasonably priced. Thanks!
Pizzeria Libretto popped up as one of the "best pizza in Toronto" suggestions, so my colleagues and I decided to give it a try. We each ordered our own Napoletana-style pizza, and I chose the Capricciosa. When we arrived at the restaurant to pick up our to-go order, we were told our pizza would be ready in five minutes; it ended up taking closer to 20 minutes even though the restaurant was mostly empty when we arrived after 8 PM.
