i have been coming here for a long time and i always enjoy my meal. i ate here this week and the food was off. the fries were over done, the coleslaw was too salty and the burger was try and tasteless. when we sat down the waitress said the chef had to leave and she wasn't there, so of coarse i said well do you know when she is coming back.........lol, the waitress said about 1/2 an hour. normally i wouldn't mind but it was 3:30 and i hadn't eaten all day. i know times are tough...read full review

We were a walk-by looking for craft beer and basic pub food. We weren't disappointed! Good and fast service, even though the cook was busy with multiple fish'n'chips take out orders (it was Friday). Great burgers too. The back of resto a little dark, at front by windows would be better choice of seating. We'll be back.

Honestly, I was sceptical going in, but I'm really glad we stopped here for lunch. It's rare in Toronto these days to find a proper neighbourhood pub. Not a place that serves 20 pages of drinks and small plates, but a real pub that does simple food well. That's what Sarah's is. A down-to-earth place that does its menu well without any nonsense. A place where you can go and relax and grab a good meal. The fries are perfect.
