Also remembers their usual customer so they are able to build that relationship. there are daily deals to choose from and our favourite is their friday special for their wings. “One of my fave korean fried chicken places. This particular location replaced 88 Gamjatang. It's located right next to the fairly new Pho Anh Vu in the O Mei plaza.Parking is usually pretty good. You won't have to fight for spots like at Commerce Gate.Most kfc spots divide their orders by half and whole chickens. BB.q chicken however, serves their chicken by weightage (each basket of chicken is roughly half a chicken) so the prices appear cheaper because you're getting a rough equivalent of a half chicken per order.The other thing that makes BB.q chicken unique is that "boneless" on the menu is not the popcorn chicken style you would see at most restaurants. It's actually large chicken thigh/breast chunks that have been deboned so that's really convenient.It was my first time trying different cheese ball flavours. Between sweet potato, original and chocolate my fave cheese ball was the chocolate one by far. Sweet and salty will always be a killer combo.You'll definitely want to try chicken under the "fried & sautéed" section as you cant really find those flavours at other popular kfc spots in the GTA. One of my faves is the galbi Q flavour.I also see rosé tteokbokki on the menu at a lot of korean restos but my fave has to be the one at BB.Q chicken. The sauce makes the rice cake literally taste like pasta! (My gf prefers the BB.Q chicken on birchmount in downtown markham because she likes that they are milder w/ the spice and also use thinner rice cakes as opposed to the richmond hill location).The service is friendly and the interior decor is sleek. The unit IS small though so you might want to make reservations on a weekend during peak dinner times.“

“I’ve gotten chicken sandwiches and tenders from Simba’s more than I can count for the past year. It’s straight bussin. “This takeout spot is hidden in a small shopping mall that doesn't seem to get much traffic on weekdays. It's a nice chill atmosphere if you decide to eat at the food court. Plenty of seating.We ordered 6pc soy garlic chicken combo with cheesling fries and rose cupbokki combo with honey garlic chicken. The portions and pieces of chicken were huge! But the real highlight is how crispy the chicken is. We've enjoyed many Korean fried chicken joints around Markham but this is the crispiest, even with the sauces. I found the honey garlic sauce quite sweet but it was still tasty. Cupbokki came with hardboiled egg, fish cakes, and broccoli. It had a lot of sauce and the tteok had great texture.If you decide to take the food to go or have leftovers, there is no issue because everything is packaged well and the chicken stays crispy too.“

“Been to this location three times now. Most recently with my gf who was finally freed from covid recovery prison lol. There's maybe like 4-5 street parking slots available. Otherwise you gotta park nearby at the theater or in the Terre Rouge parking lot (next to the merry-go carousel).Our server was bubbly and smiley. Idk if it was the owner herself serving us but she was very knowledgeable about the menu.It's a very famous korean fried chicken chain. They offer so much flexibility on their menu. You can get sautéed or fried chicken. You can choose wings, boneless or bone-in chicken. And you can go half and half on your orders if you want to try different flavors. There's just so much customization at this KFC place.The chicken is super crispy, plump, juicy and sauced so well. The rosé tteokbokki is one of the best rosé tteokbokki my gf and I have ever had. The sauce reminded me of butter chicken but had the consistency of pasta sauce?! So it felt like I was eating a really hearty pasta. There was just so much umami in that tteokbokki.I've tried the secret sauced (yangnyeom basically), golden fried, gangnam style and galbi Q. They all taste phenomenal. What's also unique is that boneless here is not popcorn chicken style like Home of Hot Taste, My-My or Mr. Chimaek. Boneless here means large chicken chunks that have been deboned. So that was interesting. I might actually prefer boneless here over bone-in now that I think about it. Tough call. All they're missing on the menu is literally padak flavor (green onion on top with honey mustard sauce).Nevertheless, for korean fried chicken this place leaps right into my top tier alongside Mr. Chimaek, My-My and Home of Hot Taste. It might just leapfrog Home of Hot Taste (if you're just judging fried chicken) tbh.I'll definitely come back to go through the other unique flavors on their menu (gangjeong and cheesling I'm looking at you guys).“

“Came during Ramadan when they had the “Ramadan special”, which was a slider, tender, fries, drink & dip for $16 which I think is a solid price.The fries were super crispy, and the slider was pretty big, like the size of a regular chicken sandwich. The waffle fries were as delicious as always. Although I’m not sure if it’s customary for the waffle fries to come with sauce as the person who took my order today didn’t ask me to choose any sauce, whereas last time when I order at eaton centre the waffles came with sauce. Service can be a bit slow during peak times so be patient as the quality always hits!! I do feel like they need a better ordering system for pickups after order as the poor cashiers/servers have to walk around the entire food court trying to find the customers with the corresponding order. Other than that this location is amazing, they’re so welcoming and are always cleaning the table tops and maintains cleanliness and quality, they deserve a raise.“

The original is really good and the medium spice level is a good spice and flavour level. “I popped into this spot randomly and was tempted by their pork mooncakes. It was my first time trying them and they were so good! The pastry is flaky, sort of like an egg tart crust and they were generously filled with pork. It was nicely seasoned and tender. I actually ate them at home the day after I bought them. I followed the reheating instructions on the box and they came out perfect.I also got some of their frozen pork wontons to cook at home and they were great too!
