“This restaurant is hands-down my comfort restaurant. Everything in here is immaculate and scrumptiously delicious, and the menu items are all affordable, not over-priced (like most things are these days), but yet they are not cheap enough for you to doubt their legitimacy. The shop is cozy and clean, with wonderful decorations all over the shop. The staff are also welcoming and friendly, thus all in all, this place is a 10/10!“
“Hadn't been here in a long time and I was pleasantly surprised by how well they had kept things up. Prices are decent with good sized portions, service is prompt and the food is tasty. Their milk tea is very good although a bit on the small side. Could be a bit cleaner “
“A very busy restaurant, we ordered 5 dishes and the first dish arrived 3 - 4 minutes after we placed the order, turbo serving speed! Each dish is served with a huge plate, huge portion and the food is delicious, not salty at all. Reservation is highly recommended.“
“Fried pork knuckles with fried sauce shows up again??I ate at Markham restaurant this time and it was very delicious! But the only difference is...If the pork trotters are too juicy, the fried sauce will be watery and the noodles will be diluted I might have to do it separately next time “
“It’s been a while since I have been able to spend time with my family in Markham. I’ve been abroad for a long time, I was really craving dim sum. Everyone in Markham knows this place; Casa Victoria. I have been about 2 years ago, and my family always goes. I had to come here the second I landed in Markham. I enjoyed my lovely experience at Casa Victoria. I came for brunch, and I loved everything I ordered. Markham/Canadian weather today have been really bad snow. Even with the bad weather, their business was boomin! I really recommend coming here. Along with the 20/10 food, their service is a 20/10 as well! Everyone was super duper nice and friendly. They accommodated to all my little brother’s allergies. I definitely recommend coming here! Yummy photos too:Dietary restrictions: Great accommodations“
“Definitely a unique hotpot experience. Server was nice and patient in explaning the system to us. The AYCE includes meat which they will give you when you ask, but each portion is quite generous. The mushroom soup base was quite flavorful.Very interesting concept, and cheaper than others.“
“This is a great casual spot and hidden gem in Markham. All of their clay pot rices with preserved meats are delicious. Each pot comes with a side of vegetables and soup, and rice portions are very generous. I’d highly recommend coming here if you’re around the area!“
“How good are these clay pot dishes? It has a lot of steam and good taste. The claypot rice is a bit burnt. If you think Shao Zhong is too scorched, you can ask him to cook more burnt rice. The salt-baked chicken is average. When it was first served, it didn't taste salty at all, but the proprietress was so kind that she immediately took it back and remade it. It can be accepted later. In summary, the price, taste, and service are all very good.“
“An amazing place with high quality authentic food and a friendly atmosphere. Although the place is small, it may be some of the best chicken in the entire mall. If you choose to dine there, you will also find that you get incredible portion sizes for affordable prices. I’d really recommend coming here and getting to taste the incredible food that awaits.“
“This is an old-style dessert shop, lacking the trendy decor and modern frozen treats popular among the younger crowd. However, I find their offerings to be consistently average. It provides convenience to the nearby residents, making it the best choice if you crave desserts in the evening.“
“EXCELLENT service, atmosphere and food. Food prices very reasonable....especially the lunch specials. Food portions large so be ready to eat and share your order. Shirley our waitress was very kind and attentive. She made our visit feel very family like and familiar. We will definitely look forward to dining here again! Open for 24 years and it shows they know how to run a business and make customers feel welcome and fed well.“
“This is a traditional style dim sum restaurant lacking the trendy decor and modern treats popular among the younger crowd. However, I find their offerings to be consistently average. The restaurant is spacious. It provides convenience to the nearby residents, making it the best choice if you crave dim sum in the morning.“
“Dinner combos are great. Taste, price, portions are worth it. Call a few hours before and pick up. They are busy and there's a reason why.Good and Cheap won't be Fast / Fast & Good won't be Cheap / Cheap & Fast won't be Good.“
“Chicken Fried Rice and Beef Lo Mein had a good, fresh taste. Especially enjoyed the savoury favour of the meats. Waitress was accommodating and kindly offered a second soup for my mother's Lo Mein when she asked. Wait-time wasn't long; food arrived pretty quickly. Overall, decent place for Hong Kong style food.“
“What an incredible place. If you've been to Unionville, you'll know that the area has many cute and aesthetic restaurants/cafe's but this one is truly a gem. The restaurant has a very cozy but fancy vibe, dimly lit but there's still enough light to see all of the amazing food served here. The staff were super friendly, greeting every customer, both coming in and leaving. The food was definitely super good and worth the price (which, on that note, wasn't too expensive). We ordered skewers, scallops and a beef noodle soup. The skewers were kind of dry on their own, a dipping sauce definitely would have improved them a lot, and the scallops were very fresh, but I'm not a huge scallop fan so I didn't get to enjoy it fully (but my boyfriend said the texture was really good and chewy, and the seasoning really enhanced the flavour). The beef noodle soup was really flavourful and the beef itself wasn't too tough to chew. Honestly I will be going back soon, there are still so many things I want to try and I truly enjoyed the ambience.“
