“This place is dangerous. I had saved this place to try their croissant but I knew as soon as I walked in that I was gonna leave with much more than that. I ended up getting a tiramisu cheesecake, pistachio cheesecake, two loafs of multigrain sourdough bread, pistachio croissant, and some lemon raspberry thing. I would have taken pictures, but I brought it to a dinner party and everything got devoured. My favourite was the tiramisu cheesecake, but you honestly can’t go wrong with anything.”

We asked for chicken saltimbocca which was not on the menu and they were glad to do it. The gnocchi with meat sauce were so delicious as was the pizza. Everything arrived at the table piping hot. “I took my wife for our 32yr anniversary. the owner Tony was engaged and very friendly. The staff was amazing, very nice and helpful. Wife and I were very happy with the selection of food and had hard time deciding what to eat since there is a large variety of food. Had the Tuscan fries, fried raviolis, spicy sausage penne and Rosa fettuccine. Decided that it wasn't enough so bought shrimp fettuccine and Bolognese to take home to enjoy later. “Hey Toronto friends, if you're looking to try some real Turkish cuisine, you've got to check out Mama Fatma! This place is a treasure for the most authentic Turkish flavors in the city. The atmosphere is incredibly warm and welcoming. It's like you're stepping into a home in Turkey. The staff are super friendly and really know their stuff when it comes to the food. And speaking of the food... the 'Shashlik' was amazing! Perfectly spiced and every bite felt like a taste of Turkish street food. The prices are quite reasonable for the quality you get. I highly recommend Mama Fatma to anyone in Toronto craving a taste of Turkish cuisine. I'll definitely be going back!”

“We recently made my Mom’s 100th birthday lunch here. We had approximately 60 adults and 4 small children. I cannot rave enough about how accommodating the entire staff were from owner, to servers, to chefs…The menu they created was wonderful with the most delicious choices and generous portions. I would strongly recommend this restaurant for entertainments ( showers, engagements, small events .. etc) but also for lunch or dinner. They have a wonderful patio as well. I can’t wait to go back and I have the dishes I personally didn’t order. They were all great. My guests can’t stop raving.”

“In comparing genres of restaurants, a suitable comparison of this restaurant is something like the Pickle Barrel or to an extent The Keg. Prices are much more reasonable than the Keg and the food quality is on par with the Keg. Prices are competitive and slightly better than Pickle Barrel, and quality is far better than Pickle Barrel. Food serving sizes were proper and appropriate, bordering on plentiful - a nice change from the effects of shrinkflation. Restaurant was clean and organized. Many patrons enjoyed wine with dinner, suggesting affordable drinks.Staff was very responsive, attentive, and able to make appropriate dining recommendations. The butter chicken bowl was better than butter chicken at most Indian restaurants (where they skimp like crazy on chicken and just offer runny gravy out of a grocery store jar). The butter chicken was strong in flavour and well-made - appropriate for serving to Indian customers. They use real bacon in other dishes, and not the cheap imitation garbage you receive at other restaurants. Dish preparation was fresh, served hot, and all dishes made it to our table nearly simultaneously. Good staff teamwork - we were served by the manager but two other waitresses helped deliver our dishes so that all dishes arrived at our table nearly simultaneously. The restaurant has a beautiful bar set-up appropriate to meet and entertain people for just drinks. Temperature of dining area was appropriately maintained and comfortable. Recommended for affordable and quality dining.”

“Hands down the best gnocchi I’ve ever had. I could eat that all day. Must be the sauce! We both liked the lamb and the crust on it was delectable. My only slight complaint was the wait to receive our mains but we came there on a Saturday night so I’m sure weeknight service is much breezier.”

“This place was rammed on a Tuesday evening. It was a good thing we had reservations. The food was fantastic and the service was also great. Our hostess was very attentive and available when required. I have the fetucini Alfredo with shrimp which was delicious. The serving sizes weren't crazy but you left full. 2 at our table had the swordfish which was also apparently very good. We also had the fried calamari starter which was also very good. Will definitely be back.Parking: Lots of spots this place is right next to Vaughan Mills mall.”

“We went to Vaughan location for special lunch buffet, it was some items excluded from the offer, some time takes a little long for order and most of time comes plate by plate (small portion), food was ok but honestly I still prefer other sushi place for same price as special lunch with more dishes. “I cannot say enough positive things about our experience here. My husband booked this for our anniversary. We were greeted by the hostess with a "Happy Anniversary" and as soon as our server came, she wished us one as well, and asked how long we'd been married. Later into our meal, we each received a complimentary glass of Prosecco to toast with, and she recalled we'd been married for 6 years and congratulated us on it. Reading reviews on other sites, I'm not sure that some people have been there recently. I read one review complaining that there was no bread provided to start. We got some. It was fresh and delicious. I read other reviews about waitstaff being slow or not helpful. Our server was sensational. She was knowledgeable, friendly, consistently checking on us for refills, if we were ready for our next course, to clear plates etc. She even went so far as to clear our plates, and bring us new ones, between the 2 appetizers we had ordered. And then, before our steak came, she even wiped down our placemats to clear them of crumbs. Knowing it was our anniversary, they sat us at a table that permitted us complete privacy in the solarium half of the restaurant for the vast majority of our stay (until a larger party sat down roughly 30 minutes before we departed). It should be noted that we requested to take our time and ordered several courses, asked for each one individually, and also stayed for coffee/tea/dessert. We were there for over 2.5 hours. (Had we wanted to move our service along faster, we would have had complete privacy for our entire meal.) We ordered the bone marrow, my husband had 3 Oysters (I don't eat seafood, but if you do, don't skip these - the show is worth it), the prosciutto/burrata flatbread for starters. Having made the choice to have so many starters, we ordered 1 steak and 2 sides to split (the 16 oz NY strip, 21 layers truffle potato, and buffalo brussels). The server took it upon herself to request the steak be sliced, and served to us on a board, so we could easily share it. It was cooked to absolutely (medium rare) perfection and the sides were outstanding. Trust me, you want to order the 21 layer truffle potato! It was my favorite food of the entire night. We then shared the creme brulee, and it did not disappoint, while having espresso and tea. Everything we consumed, including beverages, was worth every penny. Yes, this is fine dining. Yes, it has a high price point. But, its not just that the quality makes it worth it - the portions are actually huge. I would highly recommend coming here for a special occasion. They will treat you with the utmost care. We will absolutely be returning. Thank you for a wonderful anniversary celebration!Parking: As a guest to the restaurant, parking is complimentary. Get a ticket as you enter the gate, and they validate parking at the host/hostess counter.”

“Would like to give a well deserved and “highly recommend” to this restaurant. We used them for a backyard gathering for 25 for my Mom’s 99th birthday. The weather was not looking great- they let us hold off ordering until the day of- late. We ordered package for up to 25. More then enough. Kids thrilled to take home. Delivery was right on time and gentleman who delivered carried straight to backyard. Food was piping hot and delicious. Strongly recommend!!!!”

I cannot rave enough about how accommodating the entire staff were from owner, to servers, to chefs…The menu they created was wonderful with the most delicious choices and generous portions.
