There’s even tips on how long certain things should cook for on the paper on the table the sauce bar was extensive as well as the few ready-made foods and desserts. “Came to have dinner here with my friends and catch up. We got seated right away even though we had a big group and they got us water right after. We ordered a bunch of food family style and it was delicious we couldn’t help ourselves. The food was flavourful and for those who can handle it I would definitely recommend their spicier dishes. They steamed buns were definitely one of my favourites. This location is an amazing place to take your family and friends and I look forward to coming again!“
“This kbbq place has the best cuts of meat for a really good price!Everything is ordered on a tablet which made service quick and efficient but regardless the staff was really attentive and made sure we always had our sides refilled.We really enjoyed the beef, honeycomb porkbelly and cold noodles.“
“I didn't find anything special. Although I ordered the soup pot to be mildly spicy, it had no spice flavor at all, which didn't help to stimulate my appetite. The food was self-service; you just select it and then it's prepared in the kitchen before being added to the pot. I pretty much took a bit of everything except for the red meat, but none of them absorbed the flavor of the soup. The pork and chicken pieces were pan-fried, which tasted pretty good, but I didn't take much of those, so it wasn't enough to improve my overall impression.“

“Tried this place for the first time because of their fun $15 all you can stack challenge. It was the second last day during a weekend night when we tried. When we arrive most trays are empty. But we still able to have fun for the stack. And the food are surprising good, especially the soup base was delicious! So far the best malatang we have ever tried! Will definitely come back!“

“I'd like to start this off by saying, I am NOT good at handling spice. And the medium spice level, which is generally something I can handle, was so spicy, I immediately regretted it. That being said, the ingredients are very fresh and flavourful, and the soup base itself is also very tasty. I liked the "open bar" concept here, it's very unique for Canada. The staff were incredibly nice and very polite as well. The only thing I wasn't too fond of was the space inside. It's very small and can only hold about 10 people comfortably. But other than that, absolutely amazing place, truly a hidden gem!“

It's odd that we were able to order food remotely but not the broth, so we must've waited for 10 minutes before the staff attended our table. Overall, the food was good. However, the snack/dessert section took a long time to get replenished. The ice cream didn't look or taste like ice cream, so that was a disappointment.“

“We finally got a chance to come to Ushi Shabu Shabu for lunch today.They created a very nice environment, Colors were very serene and relaxing. The layout was nice and spacious enough for some privacy.We ordered the lunch special AYCE which included the broth.Tried the lamb, beef, beef balls, pork bacon & sausage. Seafood was shrimp, squid, mussels, crabmeat and steel head fish. Other sides were Napa, lettuce, tofu, lotus root, mellon, udon and soba. Also I like the fact that the meats came labeled so I knew exactly what type of beef I was eating.Items we chose were pretty standard but the quality was very good. The condiments bar up front provided some very good flavours for dipping. Also there were some cold appetizers ie kimchi, bean sprouts, green seaweed etc.We order the food via our phone from the QR code and it come quickly. The servers cleared plates quickly and made sure we had everything we needed during our meal, so refreshing!Certainly recommend USS and we will be back!“
“1. Food - good! Came out hot. Green curry chicken, cashew chicken, beef pad see ew were all tasty. We asked for curry dish to be very spicy and I think that was a mistake as it took away from the flavor. One criticism was that the curry was too runny. Maybe we could have asked for it to be made thicker. We prefer that. But food was good. 2. Service - we reserved our table for dinner and the server sat us at the wrong table so she apologetically asked us to move. When we asked for water we had to ask more than once. It was busy at the time but with the spicy food it would have been nice to get it fast. We ordered three dishes. Two came very quickly. We finished them and the third hadn't arrived yet. We had to ask a server for its whereabouts and then he brought it. It was very hot so maybe it just took longer to prepare but I actually think they forgot about it. The service was a 3/5 but the food was good so it balances out. 3. Ambiance - nice interior. Wood panelling. Booths. Very cozy.“
