“This well-appointed little Pub is in the heart of Uptown Waterloo. It's an inviting, comfortable space; although it does help if you're ok with big screen TV's...there are no shortage of those.I had the California Shrimp salad. The combination of mixed greens, avocado, strawberries, glazed pecans, and goat cheese, oh yeah, and shrimp, was impressive. “I have walked by this place many times and we finally made it the door, nice friendly place. Julia was over server and she was fantastic. We the sample flights of beer which were nice. The food, my buddy had the Korean Chicken burger and I had the Western Burger. Both came out fresh and very tasty. We will be back forsure.“

“Great place to stop and grab a cheap bite! They have $7.95 meals that are a great value. I've only been in the day when it was quieter but it was a great choice for a quick meal. My spicy chicken sandwich was good but not spicy at all - the house salad dressing was tasty.“

“Fish and chips were awesome. Poutine was good — most fries ever — but not enough gravy and cheese to go with them (after the first layer it was just a large plate of plain fries). Not the worst, the fries were tasty. Good beer specials.“
“Came in on Good Friday to try out Sonny's fish and chips, Morty's and the old owner of Sonny's teamed up for this occasion and I'm not gonna lie I'm glad I came. Food was on the table in less than 2 minutes, staff were nice abd according adating, and the fish chips were worth it. I thought the gravy was an unusual addition but I'm glad I tried it. If you are reading this review the day it's posted and haven't tried the fish abd chips yet, you are missing out“
