“we loved the adobo, the pancit, the calamansi, the halo halo, and the welcoming vibe. Such a beautiful and lively space, a real home away from home🤩”
“The beef rendang was delicious. For my taste, the gado gado has too much carrot and not enough bean sprouts. It also doesnt have peanuts or egg and the tofu was very minimal. The drinks were great. The restaurant is very attractive.”
“Fabulous lunch. Extremely creative utilizing all natural ingredients. Mixing unique flavors and textures. True culinary artistry. Best place to eat in Ashland”
“The only real Italian food you can find in southern Oregon 🙌🏻 love this place.”
“Now the best restaurant in Ashland. in years past, Sammys, Amuse and Peerless have held that spot, but today, it is Nama. first class seafood sushi sake handrolls. lots of other sushi options in ashland. this is hands down the best---way way better. osteria Briccola is excellent but for fish and seafood and oysters this place is heads above.”

“I love the whole experience of this place…Always excellent food, drinks, and service. I particularly love that everything is freshly made and the staff are warm and friendly!”
“We had a lovely dinner at Tlalli! They advertise to be a Latin American restaurant with emphasis on Indigenous ingredients and Afro-Caribbean influences. We started with a few excellent, flavorful cocktails. The rum in the punch took me straight to the Caribbean, with notes of coconut, pineapple, and hibiscus. My favorite cocktail was the Milpa Sour, with use of ancestral corn whiskey where unique lines of corn are cultivated, soaked in an alkaline solution, unlocking deeper flavors. It tasted smoky and strong.
For the starters, the tostadas and salsa provided a unique experience, coming with 9 different house salsas. It was fun to try each and try to understand what made them different. The ahi tostada was also fresh and delicious.
Out of the mains, the oxtail tacos were the star of the show. If you want the best of their entrees, that might be the one for you. We also got the braised pork shoulder, which came with beans, rice, and tortillas, but overall it lacked the depth of flavor that the oxtail had. Overall I wish we had more tostadas and tortillas to take on the salsas, guac, and pork shoulder. Seemed we were always running out.
It’s clear the restaurant has put a lot of thought into the food it wants to serve and has a strong sense of identity. I think that’s a big strength, making the experience special. I would say if you’re local it’s worth a visit. Revisiting the restaurant will probably be more for the social experience, and less for the food, as it’s tough envisioning landing a reservation for few good cocktails and tacos when it’s just you and the family.”

“Holy moly! I loved this place. The host recommended we sit on the back patio area and I had some hesitancy at first due to the weather but I was so glad we sat out there! It was everything I could have wanted and more. Our food was exceptional and the warm olives were delicious! I ordered the halibut and my partner ordered the lamb and both were perfect. If we didn’t live so far, I would come here regularly. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for lovely food ans a cozy and nice atmosphere.”

“We visited Carlito’s while vacationing from the East Coast. All of the menu items are family recipes. The cream pesto fettuccine and risotto were divine. The side salad comes with a lemony vinaigrette that is perfectly balanced and delectable. Aside from the food, the service and atmosphere are fantastic. It’s a really relaxed vibe. This is a wonderful family business with really great food!”
“We stopped in today and tried the Chocolate truffle and Tayberry ice cream on a cone. I also picked up a creme puff as it looked delicious. I was overwhelmed by every item. The highest of quality, the best of taste, and excellent service from cute & friendly servers. I live in Merlin, but we will definitely be back to try more exciting and creative flavors. There was a short line, but I see why and it was absolutely worth the wait. what an absolute gem this place is.”
“I came in on January 3rd, 2025 at around 3:00 to 3:20, and the workers were the sweetest people, even helping me stab the straw in the boba! I love how customizable the drinks are, and they’re delicious! The drinks were also super affordable, only about $8 for a large!”
“Absolutely delicious variety of food here, phenomenal music selection and fantastic service. Shout out to Julia, Miguel and everyone for providing a super memorable breakfast! There’s a a real homey and friendly vibe here. I hereby certify this establishment as danky dank in the dank tank.”
“Superb experience in Ashland ! And an outdoor patio that let us bring our dog . Really nice experience mixing French /German cuisine and reasonably priced wines with great service . Molly and Charles , the co owners , bring French / German experience . Loved the menu - the trout was just tasty, the starters varied in choice . All the staff were helpful and welcoming . Best meal of our Oregon trip to the Shakespeare festival. Strongly recommend . !”
“Great service from the moment we walked in door. We were warmly greeted and shown to patio where we had reserved table. Server checked on us periodically. Food was excellent. Highly recommend.”

“Wonderful experience!
They were very accommodating for us, and the wines were great. The whites impressed and the reds were all a restrained and had lighter extraction than most of their peers we tried in Ashland.
We had made reservations in March for our 7 party tasting in August at 11am, and between booking and arriving they changed their hours to opening at noon. I got the text reminder for our 11am appointment, but they didnt have us in their system. Despite that, the owner opened up and poured for us. Great customer service after a miscommunication, that's how you do it! Would recommend a visit.”
“Authentic decor and menu. The lamb curry was EVERYTHING I hoped it would be. The Samosas were excellent and the wait was not bad at all for a busy Friday night. 100% will make a stop here or go out of my way if I can when passing through. better than all the places I've had between here and Portland.”
“They always take good care of us! We started with great cocktails: I had the Well-oiled Machinist, a duck fat washed Buffalo Trace bourbon with campari! Ooh la la! My wife had their G&T with a house made rosemary-forward tonic that was to die for. For starters my wife had amazing crisped potato dumplings with zucchini and vadouvan curry, covered in diced tomatoes and chives. (Pictured below) I had the perfect beef carpaccio.
For dinner we had the Katsu Pork Confit Crepinette, a rich and decadent creatively twice cooked pork, loosely ground, and fried crispy; and the also rich and wonderful seared duck breast where roasted root veggies played with bright fresh orange.
We loved everything.”
“We really enjoyed meeting up with local family and our SOU student here for dinner. The chopped salad was a hit, as well as the tuna melt and pulled pork sandwich. The highlight for me was the pumpkin curry soup, with depth of flavor and the perfect amount as a starter course. The service was quick and friendly, and the atmosphere warm and inviting. Will definitely be back.”
“Had the Dragonfish soup that was very spicy, very oily but extremely different from all the other dishes I have had there. Secret menu dish - not for everyone but I feel like that soup cleared away any confusion regarding
my current state of mind. Must balance with rice to stay calm- an experience.”

Takeout Restaurants
“Excellent food. The owner is super nice. I got the yellow curry fried rice with tofu on my previous visit. It was full of flavor. Today I got the Singapore noodles with tofu, tofu fried rice, veggie low mein. Amazing flavors. If you need a restaurant to go to while visiting Ashland you can't go wrong by coming here. Please note: no dine in avaliable.”
“Stevie is probably the best coffee roaster in the PNW and their Epiphany coffee is some of the best and I have had many great coffees from around the world. For my coffee drinking style, this is my daily go to. You can order 5lb bags online and they offer free shipping. This is how we roll!”

“I don't think it would be a stretch to say this is probably one of the best burger places in the Rogue Valley. It's a pretty simple setup but the ingredients they use seem really fresh. Bit of a strange decoration theme but that doesn't matter when they serve food this great.”
“Our daughter took us here for dinner and holy moly!My future son-in-law and I had the beef stroganoff while my daughter and husband had the steak and shrimp. All of it was absolutely delicious! I make homemade beef stroganoff frequently, but this was mmm, mmm, mmmm fabulous! Melt in your mouth delicious! I wish I lived closer to enjoy it more often.”
“Human Bean
Love the clever name. Driving along the 5 and needed liquid snack so stopped by for a Match latte(rated good by a connoisseur), tasty iced hot chocolate(not a connoisseur), Americano was rated highly by coffee connoisseur. Service A+ . Dutch Bros across the way oddly didn't have a customer when we visited.”
“Went to Grizzly Peak Winery in Ashland, OR. Naomi (alias Wine Gnome) and Virginia always treat us like royalty. Marci got a free professional massage from a local pro. Purchased a few great wines-the Pinot Gris is to die for! Got home and our wine racks were full-went redneck wine rack with the unused dishwasher which is finally now in use!”

“I recently posted as a review of HIRO RAMEN by mistake, it was meant for different Ashland restaurant.
As for HIRO RAMEN,
I noticed this restaurant is a very popular place for locals.
Customer demos spread across the board: old, young, families, dating couples, etc.
HIRO RAMEN deserves 5 stars as a local eatery for its food, service and ambiance. Its a great neighborhood place, simple, comfortable, straight forward design, attentive, courteous service. I have eaten here twice and will surely visit next time in Ashland. Solid concept and great management.
Apologies for not remembering our servers' names, both gave great service and were very helpful when sharing local knowledge about Ashland.”
“Great news for dog owners! If you REALLY enjoy sharing a meal with your dog, Louie’s is your place. Last night, a dog at the indoor table next to ours was enjoying dinner from the same plate as it’s human! The human would have a bite, then the dog would lick a bite off the plate. When I asked our waiter about this uncommon situation, he replied that Louie’s prides itself on being very pet friendly. I then said, “The dog and the human are eating from the same plate at the table!” He replied, “That may be pushing it a little,” but took no action to discourage the happy dog and human.”
“Such an inviting space with friendly staff and smartly curated inventory! Set in the sophisticated yet cozy town of Ashland, Bloomsbury offers books classic to contemporary, by world as well as local authors and publishers—like me, like Blackstone. It also tucks in surprises like quirky Tees, fun bookmarks and reading glasses. Refreshments upstairs. Total win.”
“We love sushi and are in from out of state. This was the best sushi I have ever had. We got the golden Philly, dragon, and crab carnival rolls and the tofu appetizer. It was all delicious! Would come back again if we lived here. Definitely recommend. The staff were very friendly and service was fast. Loved it!”
“Highly recommended as an awesome place to grab an award-winning amber Beer, great nachos and an excellent burger. The beer was so good. We had to buy a six pack to go!”
“After recently moving to town I have been here twice and I love it! The service is friendly and the food is delicious! Some of the best Spaghetti and meatballs I have had in a long time. Well worth the money and time.”

“Ya’ll, Fikka Cafe in Ashland is seriously SO GOOD. I got an oat milk cardamom latte and a turmeric healer special today, and they were both just off the hook. And SO pretty! Highly recommend. They’re tucked in behind the Ashland Wellness Collective off East Main, in a super cute little nook with pretty lights and fire pits. Everything’s thoughtfully sourced, organic, health conscious, and oh so aesthetically pleasing! 🩵”
