“We were in town for a short trip and came across this place while we looked for a food place for dinner. The entrance to the bar just looked like any typical bar. But we saw the outside patio and decided to enjoy the gorgeous weather. The menu looked great, and we ended up with the fireside pork chop and asian chicken salad. The pork was perfectly cooked but tender. Paired well with compote, the potatoes, and vegetables medley. Loved that char on the chop. The chicken was great too.We also ordered the bacon apple fritters for its uniqueness but also the description (must read). It was satisfying but super rich. Will dine here again if we were to return to Beaverton.“
“This is a great community dive bar. It’s clean, the staff are great and the food is tasty (and at a relatively good price). Their pancakes are fluffy and delicious.Vegetarian options: You can request no bacon/meat on a lot of their dishes to make them vegetarian. My wife loves their breakfast burrito and short stack.“
“Went for trivia. It's just bar food, but it was good. The beer was really good. We had to order at the bar, but then they delivered and also took order for and brought another drink. Bar and wait staff are very nice.Vegetarian options: They have Impossible burgers.“
“My friend likes the place because he and eife have gone many times before. It's a local hangout. It was my first time. The food was very good. Hot of the grill and out of the fryer. It was served with a nice large side portion. They employees didn't know us as regulars, so I understand why they were acting the usual stand-off'ish.“
“A good place to go with groups, especially on slower weeknights. Good service and prices are lower than I've recently paid at places without table service!Unfortunately I've had better Southwest chicken salads at Chick Fil A: the grilled chicken was so dry I really wasn't interested in eating it, and the dressing and other toppings were fairly scanty. No one else at the table had any complaints: if we go again, I'll probably forget about trying to eat especially healthy and order a burger or quesadilla.“
“This restaurant is what happens when good food and good vibes have a love child. ❤️. The food was wonderful. The service was top-notch, with our server being a ray of sunshine. Prices were reasonable, and the overall experience left me feeling warm, fuzzy, and ready to burst into a happy food dance. Don't miss this gem - it's the real deal!“
“Super fun eating and drinking spot in beautiful Progress Ridge shopping area. We have eaten here multiple times and they consistently have professional and fast servers, fresh and yummy tasting dishes. The view from inside is always amazing. Take a walk around the man-made lake. Great times!“
“Been coming to AGs Sports Bar on and off for years. I come back for 3 reasons: 1. Karaoke. I try to make it when KJ Sha is there, she cleans the mic between singers, is fun and juggles busy nights with multiple requests with professionalism and kindness. 2. Bartenders. Heather and Amber know their stuff, hustle and can cover the entire place individually and always with a smile. 3. The clientele on a busy night is great people watching. All ages, singles, groups and couples, a fun mix of people. If you like a laid back dive bar with lots to do, and good people.. visit AGs Sorts bar.“
“Little neighborhood bar with truly excellent bar food. It was pretty quiet when we went in but drinks were good, staff was friendly, but otherwise that was about as much as I would say about it. Decent but not amazing patio, a sort of lounge seating area. Could be a decent place to grab some drinks.“
“Absolutely loved dining here before our concert at crystal ballroom. With the venue right around the corner it was a great spot to sit at the bar get cocktails and have a REALLY yummy dinner. I highly recommend the fried Brussel sprouts (they are gf) and the steak salad was also yummy ! Can’t wait to come “
“Our area needs more small businesses and especially restaurants! We wandered into Gambino's one day, and we've probably been back a half a dozen times now! It's a super cute and cozy environment, food is amazing, and service is always great! Definitely recommend trying it out, you won't be disappointed!“
“Parking: There is a parking lot that can fit about 10 cars. There is street parking..becuz the place is busy most of the time it is at times hard to park. But if you like to walk. There is always a place to park on Atlantic St.Wheelchair accessibility: Yes, there is wheelchair accessible.“
“Love The Dugout. Service is great. Friendly staff. We come here every week and we feel like family. Kaylee is absolutely amazing. She alone is a reason to stop by. So friendly. Feel like we have been friends for years. Food is priced right. Wings and tots are worth it. Karaoke is fun and low pressure. This is our spot.“
“It's nice lots of space and other things to do while your there like play video poker on sit and have lunch with a friend or have a drink with some friends at the bar.Parking: There is a nice size parking lotWheelchair accessibility: It is wheelchair accessible“
“Came here cuz I heard the Mac n cheese was some of the best in the city!Sadly it was good but not quite "the best" however the price point didn't leave me disappointed. Quite reasonable for what you get!Beer selection is incredible and the atmosphere is quiet but not too quiet and everyone was super friendly. Nice mid west neighbor tavern vibes. Very comfortable!I'll be back to try the burger :)“
“My family visited Hops and Drops Friday 4-5-24. Everyone ordered different menu items. All enjoyed their meal. I had the Monster French Dip. That was the best I've had. Even though I live in Newberg, when I am hungry for French Dip I'm coming to your restaurant.“
“We arrived at 10:30 PM and were soon attended to by a friendly young woman who efficiently saw to the frequent needs of all 20 of us customers. Piping hot and scratch made tenders and calamari were plated and delivered within 5 minutes of ordering each time. I could not leave without complaining the young woman and the kitchen!“
“Been visiting a few years now.Great happy hour food menu. One of my go to's is the White Cheddar Mac & Cheese made with cavatappi noodles and white cheddar cheese (like home-made).I add the grilled chicken on top.Well....menu changed to boxed mac & cheese, so disappointing!!!!The grilled chicken helped flavor but the noodles.....you know, wimpy noodles from a box.Too bad!First photo is of recent mac and cheese...notice the elbow noodles and the cheese sauce. The second and third photos are of previous mac and cheese orders with cavatappi noodles and real cheese.Parking: Tight parking spaces but lots of them“
“For some reason I always forget just how great Virginia Cafe is. And then I go in and order a drink and a burger and wonder why I’m not here more often. Great food, great atmosphere, great location. What more can you ask for? Seriously, come by for a bite if you are in Downtown Portland at all.“
“Everything about this place is great; the food is good, the service is excellent, great beers on tap. The only problem, it is insanely loud. Not sure if it is just the crowd that frequents, or the design of the building, but I've been here 3 times now around 4-6 in the afternoon on a week day, and I can't even hear my friend sitting next to me. Surprised the staff can even hear customer orders. I think the same people are there every day too, definitely has that local neighborhood everyone meets there kind of feel about it.“
“I've been here twice now and the food has been consistently good. First time I got the Cali burrito which was tasty, but I do wish the fries were just a little crispier. They seemed just a little undercooked. Second time I got the super nachos with chicken and they were good. A ton of food for a good price. Service is also consistently great and I love all their salsas. Definitely want to come back and try the ramen and queso taco next time.“
“Hands down, best Prime Rib Dip (French Dip)of my life. Could take or leave the mozzarella sticks and fried pickles. But the prime rib dip so far out shadows the mediocrity of the sides that it deserves a 5/5. The huckleberry lemon drop was also exceptional and the vodka tonic fully met my expectations. But the Tuesday special prime rib dip was so good I’ll be back just for that! Service was also exceptionally responsive.Parking: Easy to find a spot on a Tuesday night“
“Whatta cool dive bar!Things you should know:I. PARKINGThere's free street parking availableII. SERVICEFood and drink are ordered at the bar. They'll give you a number to take back to your table if you order something to eat. The menu is simple pub grub and they're timely at bringing out the food.III. QUALITYThe beer is typically served in chilled glasses and the food is standard bar food. What makes this tavern so great is the pool tables, arcade games, and sports games on the TVs. Lots of entertainment!IV. CAPACITYFairly low crowd of people at 9, but definitely gets packed and lively as the night progresses.“
“Jimmy’s is a great neighborhood spot where everyone is welcome. The bartenders are friendly professionals, they have ALL the sports, including NFL Sunday ticket. No matter the time of year and/or one’s sports preferences, they always know what people want to watch, and have cool vibe tunes playing when there’s not a big game on. The food is mostly average bar food, but the specials and homemade soups are legit. The hand battered chicken tenders are one of my guilty pleasures. Also recommend the hummus plate, and 2 for $4 Taco Thursday ?“
“It was 10pm, hanging out with awesome friends, and My Father's Place's breakfast menu is exceptional! Pancakes were the best I've tasted in months!Although my taste buds were outraged by the suppleness of its texture and insulted by its perfect balance of flavors, I kept eating. If that wasn't bad enough, my mouth was straight-up nutted by the rich hot maple syrup and whipped butter in a flanking position so OP, that i had to wash it all down with another Guinness!I had the short stack btw (pictured), and it kicked my a$$, with me doing the splits on it at the end. I regret every decision I've made to avoid this place like a plague, and rightfully so, the person who I thought was the bouncer was just some guy who admired I.D. holograms and liked to play with his pocket flashlight.Overall, the atmosphere is your typical dive bar vibe, with a 5 star chef in the back!I kept the atmosphere rating to 1 because they earned it, and should be proud of such an achievement!Bring friends and tip everyone there!“
“Food was not bad, had the blue cheese burger which was good, but the mac and cheese could use an upgrade for sure. Service was great, really friendly each time. And it might be the only place I've seen that isn't jacking up their prices... yet. Same burger and fry is about $4- $5 more at Clancys for “
“We got the bruschetta with pesto and 2 panini sandwiches with a side of homemade chips. The chips were super delicious. The service was ok, it was a bit slow for how few people were there. It is dog friendly. Outside is smoking so we sat around the corner and had no issues with the smoke.Vegetarian options: Several veggie options“
“I am proud to recommend Mrs Craig Vanessa for a selfless and reliable investment service. I was constantly looking for a reliable platform to invest and my friend introduced me to her platform and I realized this is the best platform to invest on because she maintains discipline in her investment relationship and strategies to ensure the complete transparency and credibility of her investors. She helped me gained $16,000 with just a capital of $2,000. If you want to be financially successful invest with her ASAP via WhatsApp through Facebook: Mrs Craig Vanessa“
“Driving from California, needed fuel, missed the turn, went over freeway, turned around, stopped at a gas station, ready to get going again, saw dive bar, it said open on the sign, went in, everybody watching sports, didnt realize it was sunday cause driving 3 days, nice girl", approaches us as we just sat ourselves cause we were just tired, asks if we'd like something, mentioned a special, brought my beer quickly as i traded driving with my friend, "A very large Stella Draft?, had wings, tipped her well,AND THEN ...ON THE ROAD AGAIN...Home.Perfect place, clean, better than good food, atmosphere was easy, all types were in there. That's the mark of a good place.. check it out..“
“This is a great local bar. Good bar food, a couple of pool tables, never dead but never too busy to grab a seat and a drink. The rotating tap list is on a couple of big screens. The bartenders are great, the regulars are great, I’ve only had the burgers and wings but those are both excellent. They do pub quiz, karaoke, and other things throughout the week. You get all ages in here from college students to working people to retirees. They’re usually playing good music here like 77 punk or 2tone or reggae but they don’t make a thing out of it.“
“The food I got was amazing. Got one of the baskets with fish, chicken strips and hot honey cheese bites along with a burger and fries. Prices were very reasonable and the server was on point. Do keep in mind that at least on Monday nights, there is one bartender not only making drinks but also all of the food. She was amazing and would definitely make a trip here again.“
“Had a B-day party here in April (long over due review). Angela was amazing at communicating and helping with the arrangements. They were a little short staffed but she did a great job keeping up with our food and drink orders. Music was fun to dance to-Hit Machine. Dance floor was a little tight and parking is not easy. But I will definitely be back.“
“Cheap, stiff drinks. Nice patio.Edit: Lately, cold service and short pours from the gal that works during the day. Borderline rude. Not sure what changed, but I will be changing my times there. Will not change the actual review, because it seems like it is only this person, and maybe they are just having a bad time like many are right now.“
“Went in late Tuesday night with my boyfriend after a family function. I had been into Bar 3 only once before some months back. The first time was just shoulder shrug ok. Food was pretty tasty, service was decent. This time however, the service was amazing!!! We didn't get food this time as we had already eaten. The bartender with the amazing mustache made one tasty drink off the cuff. Some muddled fruit, vodka (marionberry?), soda drink. I wish I had asked him what he put in it because I will be stealing it! We will be back for the recipe and to try some of their breakfast all day items. I work at a restaurant and I could tell that both the cook and bartender were busy and at no point did either one of those guys give off the impression that they were. Cool as cucumbers. See you soon Bar 3!!!“
“Always enjoy going to C I. Always make a point to stop in when I'm in town. Sadly can longer take my father do to age. He loved going just as much. If you can make it over, I highly recommend it. The Nachos are always fantastic. Prices are not high at all, very reasonable. The employees are just as fantastic and do care. Keep up the awesome work.“
“I’ve had drinks and food in bars up and down the east coast and now in the Pacific Northwest. This is, hands down, the best group of people, the best burgers, and best booze I’ve yet experienced. My hugest gratitude to you all.Parking: Parking availableWheelchair accessibility: Parking available“
“Our kids gave us a gift card for Christmas so this was our first time going to hops n drops. We weren’t sure what to expect and were pleasantly surprised. Our waitress, Erica, was so friendly and attentive. Our drinks and food came really fast We’ve never had drinks in ice glasses before, so that was fun. The food was delicious! We will definitely be going back. My hubby is hard to impress, and he was raving about this place!“
“Great place for lots of different types of bands period always a good timeVegetarian options: Omelets, fruit, oatmeal, lots of options. Menu has a wide variety of options for everyone Karma breakfast, lunch, or dinner.Dietary restrictions: They will accommodate and have a heart menuParking: Jubitz is the establishment & the lounge is just one part. Park anywhere.Kid-friendliness: The only place kids are not available to be in is the loungeWheelchair accessibility: Many available.“
“I love everything about this place, like how the kids gotta go around 9 pm, to every single ingredient is as fresh as can be on the menu, to the menu itself, if only they had steaks, with a name like Buffalo Gap, you'd think there would be a legit 1 and a half inch thick steak on the menu somewhere, but I am not going to hold that against them with everything else they do almost perfectly! Love this place. 5/5“
“Best all around NW local casual “Cheers” bar in Portland, almost entirely scratch kitchen with great bar bites, scratch soups, basic satisfying salads and Sammy’s. Best Olde School clam chowder and local beef burgers that are nostalgic. Bar service with very generous pricing.Best Bang!‼️ for your buck in the neighborhood. Can’t wait to go back.Vegetarian options: Some options but very willing to substituteDietary restrictions: They will customize your dish with care.Parking: Free after 7 pm, and all day Sunday and upwards of 100 spots with in a short city block or twoKid-friendliness: Fine for kids early but 21 and over after seven pm.Wheelchair accessibility: Accommodating but 10 year old building… tight restrooms“
“Was staying in Portland for an extended period of time, and this was close to where I was staying. Thank goodness. I think I visited 4 times in 2 weeks.Everyone working was very friendly and provided great service. The food was delicious and came out quick. Everything is reasonably priced. Not much more you can ask for, in my opinion. Didn't have a chance to check out downstairs, perhaps another time. This was a great spot to have some good food, drinks, and be able to watch just about any sporting event. Appreciate the hospitality here, and will make sure I stop any time I come back to Portland.“
“Friendly and warm, with options to watch sports but not dominant. I went to watch a football game. Three pinball machines which is cool. Good beer selection from solid local breweries ; I had a Sticky Hands from Block 15 which was great. Bartender was fabulous, with good service and a great personality. Menu looks good even for vegetarians, though I didn’t order food. Highly recommended as a local pub.“
“Ok...so 5 stars overall, but no 5 stars on subcategories. I know it's confusing. Allow me to explain.Food: it's not Ruth's Chris or El Gaucho. It's good and greasy bar food with a really limited selection. The happy hour wings, quesadilla, and Carne nachos are really good. All this is worth 3 stars but contributes to an overall 5 stars because it works well for this place and is the right business decision.Service: it's busy and the staff has difficulty keeping up. They're sweating to keep you happy. There could be an additional person on staff on football nights...for sure.Atmosphere: it's crazy loud on football nights. Such a great energy. People come in jerseys, poke the opposing team's fans, but always respectfully. If you can't handle the 'heat', there are tables outside year round, under a covered overhang. The owner is around on many days. Regulars are a plenty and will invade your space and make you engage. Layout and tables make it conducive to a fun evening for you! There's a small VLT space and I think that's a detriment, but maybe it was the best use of that odd space? All of those things in combination make this a 5-star place. I look forward to going back each time...but you gotta be expecting the vibe described or else this place can be a fast turn-off.“
“Best place in town, I love coming here with my girlfriend for date night. I highly recommend the Moroccan Coffee and the Fettuccine Alfredo (when it’s on special). The G&Ts are great too. I would give six stars if I could because of the ring game on the patio. There are also TVs and slots. Pretty much all anyone could ask for from a Bar and Grill. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️“
“A dive bar, legit. So if you like the dive bar vibe - this spots a good one. And...they have TV's so you can catch the games. Video poker along the back wall is popular. Karaoke on Thursday/Friday night if that's your jam. Heather is behind the bar and she will keep you happy with quality spirits and quality conversation. #“
“Only giving this place 5 stars for CARRIE and the COOK!! This place is amazing! I always plan hangouts with my friends once a month here. Very AMAZING inexpensive food! Drinks reasonably priced. Very nice inviting atmosphere I always end up meeting someone new here. As well as free pool and you can queue up songs to play in the bar for cheap! Be warned every time I come here and Carrie is NOT present, the service is very poor. The other bartenders don’t know how to do their jobs at all. GIVE CARRIE AND THE COOK A RAISE!!! Carrie is literally CARRYING this place!!“
“This has been a local fan favorite for two decades. It’s never super crowded when I do, which can be good/bad, depending on your mood. I’ll definitely be back, as the location is great if you’re heading to 217 or 26. Keep it up Coaches!“
“Great service, huge portions and nice atmosphere. Really clean bar and I appreciate that the most. Food was decent quality and the portions were huge- definitely the kind of size you could easily split with someone else with an appetizer and feel full. They have indoor and outdoor seating, upstairs is the primary bar/kitchen.“
“proper local tavern. there’s probably only one person working in the place: mixing drinks, pouring drafts, making burgers and wings, keeping the place tidy, dealing with the slot machines and listening to your tale of woe. The burgers are very good, the regulars are very friendly. If you make it here and find this to be true, tip well.“
“It's been a while I've been here and their menu has changed which is understandable. I had their bacon burger and I loved the previous version. The bun was over toasted vs soft. I think next time I'll request no toasting. It won't stop me from coming back because this place has the best customer service and the owner and daughter are great. I'll be back to try something else.“
