“My family all meet at Pho Oregon in Beaverton for dinner tonight, and since it was Our first time here at this restaurant and we were all super hungry so the time was perfect. Our table ordered a variety and everyone loved what they ordered. I had the Beef Stew with French Bread it was so good and with it starting to rain out when we got there it ended up being perfect. Pho was ordered, as well as a Crispy Seafood Noodle dish that both my Son and husband had. They both loved it! Such a variety and hits the stop just right!“

“Located in Progress Ridge off of Barrows Rd in Beaverton, this cozy little spot has a good sized menu and great food and service! Stopped in for a late lunch and it was just what I was looking for. No fuss, a relaxed space and a great meal! It doesn’t get any better than that. So If you’re ever in the area, give this place a try. And as always, don’t forget to support small business!

“I have turned friends and family on to this place. My circle knows when I want a sandwich where to go and which sandwich to get # 5 and double it ? They have a great bakery as well. I have never been disappointed.
Kid-friendliness: Bring the kids, they'll love it.
Wheelchair accessibility: Roll in they have plenty of room.“

“Great pho with better than most cuts of meat. My wife got the pad thai and said she enjoyed it very much. Would recommend to friends. They were also very nice to my 2.5 year old daughter and were considerate enough to bring a small bowl for her to share some of our food with.“

“P1. Pho Special ($17.75) and H2. Beef Stew Rice Noodle ($18) are our go-to dishes, and we've been ordering them every time we come here for years. (One time, while we were looking at the menu, our usual server even said, ‘P1 and H2, right?’—that’s how much of a regular order it is for us!🤣)
The portions are so generous that we've never been able to finish a whole bowl. The Beef Stew Rice Noodle, in particular, is amazing—it comes loaded with huge chunks of beef, potatoes, and carrots, making it incredibly satisfying. We've yet to find a beef stew this good anywhere else!"🥰“

“My husband and I went here for a late lunch today. I was really excited to see a Northern Vietnamese restaurant open in our neighborhood as Bun Cha is one of my favorite dishes I've had traveling. I was blown away by how good the food was here. The spring rolls were so fresh and stuffed with filling. You should eat them with the homemade chill sauce and pickled garlic they go so nicely together. The Bun Cha was incredibly flavorful and had so much meat. I really loved the texture of the noodles too. We got Pho too and it was super good. I think it's important that people know that Northern pho and Southern pho have very different flavors (I love both). The flavor of this one is very light and herbal and has a soft marrow taste.
The thing I loved the most though was how kind the owner was. It felt like I was eating in his home. He talked to us awhile about food, culture and the pride he and his wife have in the dishes they make. It made me feel very warm to hear him share everything. :) I hope this restaurant continues to gain traction and that people are able to embrace Northern Vietnamese food too. <3“

“The ube coffee was SOOOO tasty!! I paired it with the ube waffle and oyster mushrooms. The waffle was light and fluffy with just enough sweetness from the ube flavoring. The oyster mushrooms were tasty but I think the fryer oil might need to be changed. Overall though, a lovely place with a tasty menu. Would definitely go back!“

“Some of the best food in Portland! I love this place so much. Delicious fresh rolls, the vegan chickn drumsticks are to die for, and I love the crepe and wonton soup! Very filling and flavorful food, and the chef is so sweet. Highly recommend!
Dietary restrictions: I’m a pescatarian and they have loads of options!“

“Greatest bowl of filet mignon beef pho I ever had. So many extras thrown in separate when I picked up fresh for a lunch order to go. Took it back to my office. It was literally done cooking and I left so it was delicious and hot when I drive 15 mins back to the office. Extremely filling. I have to come back again! Worth every penny.“

“We enjoyed Pho: beef brisket and meatballs and vermicelli plus chicken with rice noodles. They have free refills on their Thai tea, which was unheard of. I ended up bringing half my food home for another meal tomorrow.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Highly recommend this place. They are very busy during the lunch hour, but not to worry; staff is very attentive, and the lines move quickly.“

“Pho is one of those comfort foods that taste best when it's cold outsid. This place felt clean and bright, and was a little busy during the lunch rush hour. I ordered chicken pho and it was good but not especially notable. At $16 for the meal, it felt a little on the expensive side but it seems like every place does that now.“

“The bahn mi was flavorful, but it was put unwrapped in a brown paper bag. It was falling apart by the time I got home. It was a little dirty in the restaurant and the entrance is not welcoming. I appreciate how quick it was and the food was decent.“

“Came in on a Saturday night during dinner time. Parking was easy as there is a parking lot. We were sat immediately ( 2 ppl ) in a booth. The environment is very dine in friendly with dark tone walls and some fun plants. There were also large table tops that could sit 8+ ppl. We were able to order pretty quickly. Service is fast and friendly. Our food came out under 10 mins.
The menu was easy to navigate. Good variety of options. We ordered the PT Good Special Phở and vermicelli bowl w/ chicken. The broth was very good and authentic. There aren't that many Phở places outside of Portland that offer tripe and tendon in Phở and I was happyto find one that does!
Would recommend to check this place out as they are also open 7 days a week with closing hours at 9:00 pm daily.“

“Wonderfully tasty food! Was visiting Portland and just happened to stop in after shopping. The wife and i loved our meals!“
“I ordered the pad kee mao, or drunken noodles, and thai iced coffee. I wanted the eggplant variant of the entree, but had to settle on ginger. I'll have to come back for the eggplant, bc this dish was amazing. It's so full of flavor and everything was cooked well. Nothing burnt, but no raw bits. A nice al dente texture to every morsel. Loved it. The fish sauce and cilantro really add a lot to the dish, too. Most Thai places I've been to in this city seem to shy away from bold flavors for some reason - not this place. Also - I'm a total capsaicin fiend and the "very spicy" dish I ordered actually had a kick to it. Couldn't believe it. I've never before in my life ordered spicy food from an Asian spot that was spicy at all. I'll be coming back a lot i think lol“

“Had a friend visiting and were discussing what to eat for lunch, I suggested bahn mi sandwiches, to which since never having one, she was rather “meh”. After telling her how they’re nothing like boring American sandwiches, she agreed to give one a try. We were up at Mt. St. Helens, so I had some time to tell her how they were a staple where I grew up(Bay Area) and how great the last one I had a few years ago in Hawai’i was. Anyway, we finally arrive and having never been here previously, were super impressed with the layout and the vibe of the place. We both ordered pork belly sammys and an order of wontons. It was great to see the look on her face when she took the first bite, her eyes lit up and a smile followed. She now knew the culinary joy I had in my younger years. This place is funky and cozy in the best of ways, and the food is spot on and joyous the senses, plus the staff are super friendly and awesome! I live nowhere near this place(I’m in Canby) and would have no problem traveling here for another taste. Check it out, you won’t be disappointed!!!!!“

“Stopped in starving but had only 10 min to pick something up.. I ordered shrimp salad rolls thinking I’d be in and out. Nope, they are made to order! I had to press the server a bit on speed which I felt bad about but offered to come back after school pickup.. it only took another few min. The place looked about half capacity and everyone’s food looked amazing and colorful/fresh produce. My salad rolls were very fresh and good portion, I need to go back and sit down one of these days😁“

“Just happened to stop by one day and had the fish sauce wings and was literally blown away, the food at this place is really amazing and I have eaten at the best restaurants in Portland. I usually stop buy have a pint and order food to go which most of the time I don't even finish my beer before the food is ready.“
“Here’s the real deal from a former woman who is learning the hard way how to overtly and ethically weaponize abuse against her abusers, to educate them about safety. A former woman who’s seen and experienced a lot of non-consensual covert abuse, is still standing, and enjoying bars:
I’m all about a world where people can show up exactly as they are, feel seen, appreciated, heard, helped, included, protected, because they deserve it. This was my experience at Grandma’s Secret. This is the kind of place I imagine my version of my grandma from Romania would’ve run, had she not faced a lifetime of limitations, oppression, and systemic abuse, and had she been fortunate to receive all the adequate help she needed from knowledgeable, prepared allies. Grandma’s secret radiates a free, unbreakable spirit, full of strength, kindness, and support for those who value empowerment over oppression, connection over control.
To all the women who’ve been through it, are fighting it, and to the allies who get it—in my opinion, this bar has created a safe haven for women and the allies who stand beside them, and it has been made possible by women who genuinely care. This place deserves to be supported, promoted, and fought for.
It’s a night out, yes, but it’s also a place to breathe, be yourself, connect with those who really get you, and be supported by a team of high-EQ, high-inclusivity, world-class women, who know what it means to make you feel seen, celebrated, and cared for. Walk through the doors, and you’ll feel it instantly: every interaction is real, every smile is there to encourage you to be yourself, every laughter is there to uplift you, every word is there to elevate you, and there’s a vibe here that makes you want to stay all night—and drink creative flavored margaritas, in my case.
To me, Grandma’s Secret is a vibe, a movement, a home base for anyone who’s all about inclusivity, empowerment, safety, and fun, that I am anxiously looking for more of this in Portland.“

“This was our first time here. We had a day off together, so we took a nice walk around the park blocks. We got a bit cold and hungry so we stopped in for a big bowl of pho.
We had a chicken pho, and steak and brisket pho, and a chicken stir fry dish. The pho broth was delicious and rich and fatty. Perfect for a cold winter day! The stir fry dish was also delicious. My only request would be if I could have some cilantro along with the bean sprouts/lime/basil. I didn't ask for cilantro, so that's my fault. Next time I will ask if they have any.
You can tell this spot is popular with regular customers. We watched one gentleman come in after, and it was clear the staff knew him very well, and took care of his order right away. It's nice to see a restaurant that treats repeat customers well and remembers their names and orders (very few places out there like this now!). Also, I enjoyed dining in this restaurant because all of the windows allow you to enjoy some people/traffic watching while you eat.
Next time I want to try the ribeye steak pho! And it looks like there are many other tasty dishes to try there! Can't wait to see you guys again soon!“

“Amazing spring rolls. Super fresh and big!!! Just how I like my….spring rolls. The peanut sauce is house made and you have to ask for the chili paste. Delicious!! They have the best poke I’ve ever had in Portland. And I live in California. And am a poke snob. You will not be disappointed. I’d give this place 10 stars if I could.“

“Best pho in Hillsboro/ Beaverton region. I've been to many other Vietnamese restaurants in this region, and this was so far the best beef pho I've had. So delicious flavorful broth, so well-cooked juicy pho ingredients, served in a generous large bowl. And lower priced as well. This place serves very authentic Vietnamese pho, as well as many other unseen Vietnamese dishes, which I haven't seen anywhere else. The staff is also super friendly. Highly recommend!“
