“terrific food, stop reading reviews lol, if u're feeling BBQ then end of search - left SF in the morning, picked up a late dinner on the way back to Canada.ribs were made Right. brisket & fries were amazing (don't switch ur fries pls). A lil too much salt fell on the tots but otherwise a weekly spot if we lived nearby for shizle. Will be back if ever passing thru again. ty for the food.“
“Delicious BBQ from a master. At this point, we've tried everything on their menu, and it is all great. If you want to try something really special, he smokes these giant potatoes for hours every morning and stuffs them with pulled pork and other goodies when you order. It's a huge meal and absolutely fantastic. The couple that runs this joint are really sweet and want you to have a great experience. You can take your order to go or eat at the picnic tables. If it's raining, there is a tent with tables and space heaters. No matter how you enjoy your food, you are going to have a very happy and full belly..“
“Such great flavors and love how I can try quite a variety! This photo plus a veggie side all for $30 (9 different skewer varieties) is an absolute steal. In an ideal world, a brewery or wine bar needs this cart outside their business, and it would be perfection ?“
“We had Paper Plate BBQ at our large backyard wedding in Eugene and we were beyond happy we decided to go with them! The food was delicious, even our Texan friend (who is very picky about his bbq) raved about the brisket. They were really lovely to work with too, they really went above and beyond.“
“If I'm gonna eat out for steak, then this will be the place to go in the Eugene area. Despite it being a franchise, I can tell they still do as hard and as best as they can to offer the best dining experience, and they certainly do deliver. While I think it tends to be a little loud for my liking with the music and sports channels on every television, and especially the dim lighting, I can't deny that I always leave this place with a smile, even if just a little, particularly when I can take home with me extra bread with honey butter and leftover Cactus Blossoms.“
“Unapologetically American. This great hidden gem has some fantastic food! Our party of 18 showed up and everyone was accommodated! The service was friendly and quick and every single person was satisfied with their meals. Many of our group said they would return with spouses or other friends! The Mac n Cheese is phenomenal (you can add pulled pork or tri tip) the burgers were tasty! My fish tacos were just right!“
“So much love!! Great beer, great service, great food!! I didn't get the name of the Mexican truck but I had the best baked potato I've ever had. It was covered in carne asada, cheese, salsa and yummy sour cream sauce. I'll go back just for that! They have a great beer selection including some of my Portland favorites from breakside. I hope they stay busy and in business for a long time!“
“best Chinese restaurant in the area, hands down. great STICKY white rice and they don't put f-in peas and carrots in your fried rice! i don't know what's up with the other Chinese restaurants in town, they all add carrots and peas, and their rice is meh.. nothing worse than bad rice and overly americanized Chinese menus imo.i just wish they would come out with a LIGHTLY battered orange chicken and general TSOs, that would be money!“
“Amazing Bbq! Every bite was worth savoring. The gentleman who served us went out of his way to get our meal to us. He gave us all the delicious bbq sauces and we really enjoyed the spicy hot one! Can't wait till we are back in the area for a 2nd go round!“
“First time stopping by this food cart parked @ OMG Country Club Rd. on Thursdays. Ordered the brisket sandwich, which was delicious. We were told their portions were huge & we could split an item, but we each definitely could have eaten an entire sandwich. Only negative was the attitude from the man taking my order. There were 2 menu boards (1 printed & 1 hand-written) & when I asked which one I could order from, he said, "they are both the same", which was not at all true.“
“Wow. I had never had Korean BBQ before, so I was a little nervous about the whole process. However, I had had such a blast! The employees were very helpful with any questions and were attentive. We got the step up from the standard package, and I think I would do that again. Every meat we got was so good, particularly the soy garlic pork belly, the LA galbi , and the Hawaiian beef! I'm still thinking about them days later. We also tried the steamed egg and cheese corn, which were also fabulous. Something you must order is the soju cocktail! I wish more restaurants offered soju cocktails and this one was so good. I also liked how the restaurant itself was very nice. I appreciated the very separate tables and the ranges that kept odors and smoke to a minimum. We will absolutely be back, and hopefully soon!“
“Not a food truck - a very well done restaurant with just the right vibe!! They do have take out..so that counts as wheels!! I did the combo plate at $20. Great amount of delicious food , I did the Kahlua pork, garlic shrimp on noodles with a Mac side! Wonderful good! Great place! Attentive staff! What's not to like !“
“Plateau Forest Products hosted a pre-game Oregon Duck tailgating party and had it catered by Philyaw's Cookout & Catering. The whole process was seamless, very professional and the food was out of this world! Diehard BBQ fans were blown away by the taste and quality of the meat and sides. Exceptional people, exceptional service and exceptional food!“
“It's a BYOB kind of thing: Build Your Own Bowl! The ingredients bar was kept full and fresh; being refilled as we were getting started. The grill was being cleaned as we approached, all fresh for us. There is definitely an art to packing your bowl. I like to put the spinach in first, for example, because other ingredients will weigh it down, but if you try to put it in top it will be inclined to fall off the ever growing mound. Fear not; if your first bowl doesn't fill you up, you get a second bowl, but no to go containers for your second bowl, so only take what you can eat. ;-D I had a glass of red wine with my dinner. It was very nice.“
“Were down here for a sporting event and decided to give this place a go. AMAZING and fun atmosphere. The food was great. I had the open faced pulled pork and my mom had the turkey. Mac and cz was one of the best Ive tried. Might go back for lunch tomorrow to try the Rueben!“
“The Cafe sits on 46th Main have driven past this for a few years, decided tonight I wanted something different that was close to me. So Tonight I stopped at the Kona Cafe They are take out only, that was ok I had planned to do it anyway. Staff was friendly and talkative, Atmosphere was Hawaiian decorations surf boards and stuff I ordered the Teriyaki Chicken, ordered the Wok Fry Noodles with Potato Mac Salad and had 2- 1/4 slices of fresh pineapple Fast Service Food was very good and filling and nice flavor. Its worth the stop if your in the area looking to take something home or back to work***UpDate***So I decided to go to Kona Cafe a Second time, I had such good service and food the first time, thought it would be the same. Was earlier in the afternoon I said to the Staff Member had such good food the last time I was here, its only been a few days I wanted more, said something to the effect of you wanted it the 2nd time I should have walked out right then, I ordered the same thing but it was terrible like it was scraped from the bottom of the grill had a chard taste to it. And I got it home the container had not been closed all the way so all my food was in the bag together, had to remove from bag and put it on a plate. Very disappointed this time. Thinking should I try it a third time because sometimes you have off days At this time not sureParking: About 8 places on the side of the building, being a take out only I feel that is more than enought they get the food out quick“

“What a treat!!! I will certainly be back!! Kyle and Tina have an outstanding restaurant happening there. My Brisket burnt ends were juicy, tender, flavorful, so many sauces to choose! Coleslaw was tasty. But the Best thing for me were the sweet potatoe fries!!! They're addicting.. would love to know their secret... Never had such good fries! Julianna was sweet and super helpful when ordering... I was even brought a chocolate Easter treat from the nice young man at the counter!!Thank you for a nice quiet Easter dinner in a good atmosphere❣️God bless you“
“This is the best Korean restaurant we have eaten at. Our family has been eating here since they opened and we have never had any problems with the staff or food. The all you can eat Plan A and Plan B are the best way to go if you're in the mood to cook your own food. Or you can order from the menu and choose from all of the delicious offerings they have.Vegetarian options: They have tofu and veggie selections.Parking: They do have handicap parking available.“
“We found this place on a whim!! IT IS AMAZING!!! The food is wonderful, we had brisket man n cheese and a French dip! Both delicious! Already planning to come back soon!! Friendly service and reasonable prices. Sorry no pictures we were so hungry. Definitely a must try!!“
“Absolutely awesome food every visit, fresh, huge menu, better quality than average bar food. Excellent friendly service and cool seating options in and outside, reasonable prices. Note the yellow jackets were bad last summer and we hope they can put out more more traps this year. It's hard to eat outdoors with kids and yellow jackets. Overall we love this place though!“
