“This cute little place feels like it's just begging to be one of my new favorites! Played a chill game of pool and got a Chicken Bacon Ranch pizza, which was very tasty and generously piled high with toppings.Chatted with a couple of the friendly local regulars and hung out for awhile. We have been going to both places for 30+ years and have NEVER been disappointed. Alot of the staff have been there for 20+ years and that says something to me on how the employer treats their workers. I would recommend these 2 places anytime. Good prices for what you receive!!! If there is a place that could be perfect, this would be a place I would say is!!!“

“We got a rare takeout last night, from this lovely restaurant. Great food, huge portions, the nicest staff. We had the vegetable egg foo young and chicken lo mein. Veggies were nice and crisp, noodles delicious, great flavor in both dishes. Excellent value for the price. Highly recommend for an evening you just don't want to cook. “King Torta has made it impossible for me to eat anyone else's Tortas. I have tried different tortas as other restaurants, taco trucks etc. and everytime I do I say "it's ok, but it's NOT King Torta"....now if they were only open Sundays :)“

The brisket is always delicious and tender, the cornbread is wonderful, and i love their Caesar salads. “My sister and I shared the French toast and the Belgian waffle breakfast. Out of the two, I thought the French toast was better. Pretty good breakfast and they give you lots of food. We had to wait a little bit but it's a pretty popular place so it makes sense. Service was great and their staff was super friendly“

“Ordered the unagi donburi and saba (mackerel) nigiri, both being quite good. The owner and staff were friendly and seemed to enjoy their work. The space is a bit small but feels cozy, so it may be difficult to accommodate larger parties (6 or more) during busy times. I also went at a pretty busy hour, so the unagi took a bit to come out. I unfortunately forgot to take pictures as the food looked and smelled so good that I just had to dig in. It was a bit expensive on a student budget, but definitely a worthy splurge after an exam.“

Had a Breakside IPA plus the Hot Mess sandwich in wrap form but with turkey in place of ham. Delicious! Bartender was very friendly and helped with samples of a few good beers. “Best Taco Truck in Washington County. Been eating here since the early 2000's when homie would come get his trucks propane filled at Beaverton UHaul. One of the originals and still the best. “We weren't necessarily out "wine tasting". We went to a cider place before, and thought we'd stop in on a whim, because of the views. There were 3 of us, and we mostly wanted to just get a glass of wine or a bottle to share. The place was very busy, and the entire staff was so accommodating, especially with no reservation! Steven our server allowed us to taste 3 of their reds before deciding on a bottle, and was super knowledgeable. Such a lovely, and refreshing experience. “We came for a burger and fries to go on a Thursday around 6:15pm. There were a couple of orders in front of us but by the time we left there were around 5 more groups waiting for their orders. We had a fairly large order of 6 burgers and 4 orders of fries and it took around 20 minutes for our order. The two young ladies were working hard behind the counter and all of the food is made fresh so the wait is understandable. The burgers look small, they are smaller in diameter than a McDonald's cheeseburger but have a thicker patty. The men needed two burgers to get full, but the burgers are more filling than they look. The fries are plentiful, crispy and tasty and highly recommend having them with their fry sauce. The sauce has a lot of flavor with a little spice. We had extra fries even with my hungry boys so an order can definitely be shared. Their prices have really gone up over the years so it's not the deal that it used to be, but still a good option and will be back for their fries.“

“Just moved back to Hillsboro after being away a long time and was hopeful about this place. The ambience, pizza and music were good and that is what the stars are for. I do like the concept of this place. Service however was lacking. At first I thought it was because the house was packed. My first clue should've been when the server said to us , "well we have a packed house tonight so I don't know if you wanna wait or you can just come back a different day" to which I replied, "can we sit outside?" Less than enthused he said yes. We ended up staying because the music was good. When people began to leave, we made an additional order for an item but it never made it to our table. We very well could've left without even paying as it was a constant search and find with our server.“

I do like Mana bowls, I think grilled fish should be an option because for sure a piece of grilled fish is the same or cheaper than Kalbi, and since it's called the grilled fish place grilled fish should be offered up easily“

The bento box was big with a good variety of coke and hot dishes, and it came with a nicely dressed salad and miso soup. We got drunken noodles a coconut soup and the service was fast and we asked for extra spicy because we are spicy lovers and they did an amazing job with the perfect spice level and the sauce on the drunken noodles was perfecttttttt.
