“What an awesome winery!Shane assisted me with my reservation & he was great; he was super friendly & knowledgable & truly a delight to chat with.The winery is beautiful & the tasting room is comfortable & the tables have lovely views of the vineyard.We tried the Bubbly Tasting, Standard Tasting, Reserve Tasting & Provisional Board & were delighted with everything.The Pinot Noirs were incredible & we purchased a bottle of the Roosevelt.The staff were friendly, very welcoming & knowledgable, the hospitality was incredible & the staff made us feel like they were really happy to have us there:)Our server, Cole, was fantastic!He kept us on schedule as he knew we were visiting another winery.He provided lots of interesting info & facts about the winery & served us at the perfect pace.The other staff were great too, they were more than happy to help with directions & recommendations.Our visit was on a rainy day in the middle of Winter & the winery was still beautiful.The vibe is relaxed & friendly with great wines.They are also dog friendly (patio) & the staff were very sweet with my pup.I would highly recommend this winery.Do yourself a favor & visit this little gem, you’ll be glad you did:)Keep up the great work Elk Cove!“

“An incredible stay. To start, Peter and Carolyn are the sweetest, most accommodating, and overall fantastic hosts. The grounds are beautiful, and the rooms are perfect. You truly feel like you are staying in an Italian Villa. The food, is also incredible. Not to mention the service and accompaniments. Will be back! “Very accommodating on our recent trip here. They had some classic style wines and also some that were quite interesting and different than I was used to. They have something for everyone from standard white, and reds, to white and reds with bubbles. They also gave us ideas for other vineyards to check out when discussing our tastes or what we liked at their location. They gave explanations on their wine making process for their wines that was also easy to understand and they did a good job keeping things interesting while we visited.“

“We got a rare takeout last night, from this lovely restaurant. Great food, huge portions, the nicest staff. We had the vegetable egg foo young and chicken lo mein. Veggies were nice and crisp, noodles delicious, great flavor in both dishes. Excellent value for the price. Highly recommend for an evening you just don't want to cook. “My sister and I shared the French toast and the Belgian waffle breakfast. Out of the two, I thought the French toast was better. Pretty good breakfast and they give you lots of food. We had to wait a little bit but it's a pretty popular place so it makes sense. Service was great and their staff was super friendly“

“Ordered the unagi donburi and saba (mackerel) nigiri, both being quite good. The owner and staff were friendly and seemed to enjoy their work. The space is a bit small but feels cozy, so it may be difficult to accommodate larger parties (6 or more) during busy times. I also went at a pretty busy hour, so the unagi took a bit to come out. I unfortunately forgot to take pictures as the food looked and smelled so good that I just had to dig in. It was a bit expensive on a student budget, but definitely a worthy splurge after an exam.“

“What a great sandwich and brew spot! Stopped in after a round of golf while visiting family in town based on the pro shop's recommendation. Had a Breakside IPA plus the Hot Mess sandwich in wrap form but with turkey in place of ham. Delicious! Bartender was very friendly and helped with samples of a few good beers. “Update to update - still very disappointed at our first visit. I don't know what went wrong but our third visit has earned them a place in our regular rotation. I read somewhere that five star family burger (Cornelius) was awarded best burger by some ranking - I don't remember - but the point is I've had a five star and if that ranks the best I have to imagine someone failed to try the fireman's at CC. My previous visit to CC I had a special (burger) and it was good but I just demolished a fireman and it was everything a burger should be. Juicy, beefy, perfect sear, brilliantly seasoned, and a bun that contained it all perfectly. 11/10. And the wings - soooo good. Glad we came back.“

I do like Mana bowls, I think grilled fish should be an option because for sure a piece of grilled fish is the same or cheaper than Kalbi, and since it's called the grilled fish place grilled fish should be offered up easily“

We have been going to both places for 30+ years and have NEVER been disappointed. “We were camping at Stubb Stewart and went for lunch after reading reviews. Very diverse menu something for every taste! We (husband and I) shared the crab cakes, tempura green beans, and Parmesan garlic tots.server was very good, brought us 2 types of dips, one spicy and one not so. Crab cakes were very good, 4 balls, real crab with a very good kimchi tartar. Green beans were crispy with Parmesan and garlic, tots were also crispy with garlic..not greasy at all . Needless to say we had our garlic fix. Would highly recommend!“
